Here are some coasters I haven't ridden yet that I hope will be on my next Top 25:
-The Voyage
-Lightning Run
-Goldstriker
-Railblazer
I recently got to get on voyage and lightning run this summer and they were both amazing. Both are top 10 coasters for me personally. While the voyage was number 3 behind fury and iron rattler. A note though. Make sure to ride in the front section of whichever car you are in. (each car has 2 rows) for some reason I found that the back row of each car whether it was the very front or the very back car was very rough and painful at times. On the contrary, the front row of each car gave me great rides without fail every single time, and again it doesn't matter if it is the very front or the very back car
Your channel is awesome man. I personally love. Skyrush. Maverick. Millennium force, Gwazi, and a few others.
@@ethanowen1416 I guess you’ve never been on El Toro.
Did you get the chance to ride El Toro at night? It amps up the excitement mucho!!
Heh the four coasters you listed are in order of greatness for me. Railblazer hurt my shoulders a lot with those restraints.
APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED! kidding..great list, very similar to mine at the top. Just missing the love for wicked cyclone
Ellllo I watch ur vids every day. Also subbed
I think that the reason that you have wicked cyclone so high is because you went many times a week (or at least more than most people) and you got to kind of experience it on most of its good days
I try going on 25 but when I went to universal studios it was closed😭
I went on the velocicoaster🎉
Burger King foot lettuce
Once i went at Hagrid's magical motorbike andventure at night. It was much more intense since you couldn't tell what was happening. It also made the lauchens 3x stronger
Funfact almost all rolercoasters whill get faster the more it comes to closing time. Because they want the customer to hafe fun and shorter wait time
Litterally had my first 2 rides on it today. Got stapled really bad both times but still is really good.
Exactly
@@sharavanduvvuri2569 what is stapled?
@Mike R stapled means the restraint is pushed down so hard that you cannot feel any airtime
Everyone: Steel Vengeance is SOOO good! It is the full package!
Theme Park Crazy: This coaster is like a roast beef sandwich with lettuce , onion, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, bacon, and horseradish mayo
I like that you acknowledged the crazy length of the name Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure.
Hi Eric I haven’t talked to you in a while I released my top 20 ua-cam.com/video/Mn5Q0RjZEFo/v-deo.html
Yeah. Pretty Long name
I still cannot believe how good the VelociCoaster was (I rode it for the first time last week). I heard it was really good, but I didn’t know it was THAT freaking good!
And it’s still fantastic in 2023 :)
The same is with my experience on Nitro it is an awesome coaster and if you go to NJ definitely make sure to get front row also I like your profile picture
@@nicktheyoshi7137 thank you :)
@@Howlingburd19 no problem
Yes the velocicoaster is the best rollercoaster ever!
Riding it tomorrow
Velocicoaster is my new number one after having ridden it seven times on my trip in October. Such an incredible coaster!
I rode it two weeks ago, I STILL cannot believe how amazing it was O.o
It has some great observatories for photography!
The Velocicoaster has probably one of the best layouts, especially the launches, the Zero G stall and the barrel roll. It was actually the first coaster I have been on that has inversions
The first roller coaster that I went on that had inversions is rock n roller coaster at disneys Hollywood studios Orlando
You picked a hell of a first inverting coaster lol
@@hunterwilliams8923 Well it's my number one coaster currently, so that proves that stepping up to that was worth it.
its a great first coaster with inversions! it's intense and fast, but also such a blast and has such great theming, I can't see how anyone wouldn't love it. I was talking to someone the other day about how I think even though it would be a crazy first roller coaster, its still fun enough and not TOO scary to be that first one or first inverting one.
@@angusbarclay6281 Yes it's legend!
Hey, thanks for riding Diamondback with me at night! It’s already an amazing coaster at night, but riding it with you made it sooo much better!
Also Burger King Foot lettuce at LOLywood is my number 1 coaster and I’m triggered at it’s low spot
Glad to see you giving Tatsu credit! Feels like it never gets mentioned by enthusiasts. I legit think it's my favorite ride at Magic Mountain for the reasons you mentioned
It's my favorite ride at SFMM as well!
Now that Twisted Collossus is there, it's become a bit of a tougher call. Maybe TC is more thrilling, but Tatsu is much more epic.
@@Fay7666 that's a great way of putting it
@@Fay7666 If I'm being honest, I hate TC so much because I just wasn't ready for the ejector that it brings to you because I'm 15 and I'm still kind of small and the restraint was kind of loose on me and I thought I was just going to fly out the whole time and plus I rode in the very back which probably made the ejector feeling much stronger. Next time I go I will have to ride it again but closer to the front.
@@kelan8978 you hate the ride because it has great ejector? Im asumming it hurt yours legs a lot than
Velocicoaster is great at night - they shine two columns of light that seem to bend as you go flying up, down, and all around
Happy to see Maverick make this list. It’s my favorite of the Cedar Point lot. Those high speed turns are incredible.
Too 3 all time
top 10 in the world
@@owenwilliams3510lll ll 😊
As a Pittsburgh native, seeing the Phantom as number 6 on your list brings me such joy.
Steel Vengeance! From Detroit so I’ve got so many great CP and Kings Island memories. Gatekeeper is super underrated and Millie is my sentimental favorite. Thanks for the vids, well done and thoughtful.
the first time i went on fury 325 it was the very first coaster we road the whole day at carowinds, which definitely had an effect on me, also because before that the most intense coaster i had been on ever was woodstock express which is also at carowinds
Oh wow, talk about a leap in coasters!
Fury is such an amazing coaster.
Woodstock Express to Fury 325...WHAT.
I've never blacked out on a coaster before, but I've grayed out only three times. Once on the Pretzle Loop on Firehawk, and twice on the helix on Diamondback. No matter how much I prepare, that helix always gets me for some reason. Great video! And I'm glad I've gotten the chance to ride so many of these amazing coasters.
I had never experienced myself until I rode the Intimidator in Kings Dominion VA! Lucky for me because I’m not really a fan of the black out feeling 😅 but all my friends love it ahaha
@@AyameObsessed same! That’s my only real grey out where I was genuinely concerned I would pass out
People said that they've grayed out on the launch on Backlot Stunt Coaster but I just haven't, I did only ride it Sunday tho
El Toro is hands down the best wooden coaster I've ever been on. The video makes it look super rough, but it's the smoothest ride on a wooden coaster I've experienced. It's amazing!
Definitely my favorite wooden coaster. Definitely feels like you're riding a freaking bull, but as a coaster. 😁👍
@@craigauclair4026well el toro does translate to “the bull”
Theme Park Crazy: come for the coasters, stay for the hilarious food analogies!
Seriously man, thank you for another great video! Love when I get a notification that you dropped a new video
So, something about the Iron Rattler from someone who lived in South Texas for years: It used to be "The Rattler" and it was an old wooden coaster. I've ridden a lot and most are bumpy, but fun. The Rattler was legitimately painful. I have had friends leave with headaches and I walked out holding my back. It was so bad that a lot of times we would go to a packed out park, there would be no line for The Rattler. It definitely had a reputation. Remaking it into "The Iron Rattler" was a smart choice.
I first rode the Iron Rattler a couple months ago! I grew up in Ohio with Kings Island being my first home park. I recently moved to Texas and Six Flags Fiesta Texas is my new home park! Possibly one of my new favorite rides is Iron Rattler! And I grew up with my first “real” coaster being The Beast lol
The first zero-G roll on Steel Vengeance is THE moment. It's almost emotional. It opens your mind to the potential of what a roller coaster can be, what it can do for you. And as you celebrate that masterful element with the other riders on your train it begins to hit you...you're not even a third done with the ride yet.
My favorite element on roller coasters remains "any pretzel loop", and Nighthawk remains my personal unpopular opinion favorite ride ever. However, I must bow down and concede that Steel Vengeance is likely the best roller coaster in the world, or in the top 3 at worst. It's not only worth the price of admission, but also worth a 12 hour road trip to ride it.
For me, I would say King da ka. It was so thrilling and just the way you would look infront of you to just see nothing ahead but a view and then you drop is just incredible.
I knew as soon as it got to Top 5 that number 1 was going to be Steel Vengeance. I cannot wait to ride it!
One of the best videos I watched! Your enthusiasm radiates throughout! I especially loved your “treble clef” comment on Fury 325 ( my home park).
Same
Orion has its own Dippin dots flavor too. It's Blueberry, strawberry, and vanilla cookie and cream. It's really good.👍
Sounds awesome!
@@ThemeParkCrazy do you have a discord server?
Port Aventura in Reus, Spain, has some of the best roller costers ever. Furius Baco has sudden and astounding speed, as well as a peculiar but fun immersion at the beggining. Dragon Khan has a lot of inversions and they are really smooth. Shambhala is absolutely thrilling. There are also water and family friendly rides, which completes it a lot. Everyone should try it.
Definitely one of my favorite parks overseas. 👍
My first ride on Fury night be the greatest emotional high I have ever experienced other than skydiving. It felt like I was surfing on a magic carpet
Thank you for not putting Steel Vengeance below #1 just because it’s considered the best. I would put it in the very top as well.
Agree
It's outa control
I gotta ride this!!
@@MikeR65 it won’t disappoint. Make sure you get the back.
Disagreed.
Im riding it this summer! Im on team Cedar point
you're my favorite roller coaster youtuber, im always very excited when i see another high quality upload
keep it up man
Great list! I’ve ridden both Mako & Diamondback and both are awesome coasters. I have both day and night rides on each coaster. This past fall, I rode Mako during Halloscream and got the pleasure of riding with 2 guys that work at Sea World that are mechanics on Mako. It was a great experience, because they talked with me about all the technical stuff, including how to really enjoy the coaster in the back with hands up for the whole ride. IMO, I think you have Mako too far down your list.
You have to plan a trip to Europe, Phantasialand is just amazing. Went for the first time in November, and i'm still impressed! F.L.Y. is just so amazing, Taron is crazy and Black Mamba is pretty intense! And thats only Phantasialand!
Really enjoyed this video. I always look forward to your videos because they are really informative and I like your unique approach to reviewing roller coasters. Keep it up!
I'm so glad the velicocoaster got onto the list! For me it's a personal favorite and i would rate it higher than the lighting rod (although the lighting rod is still incredible)
As carowinds is my home town and i just went there yes they do have Fury Freeze Dippin dots still :)
The nacho fries reference with lightning rod could not have been more spot on ITS NEVER OPEN
The time traveler at night was incredible! You couldn’t see anything other than you’re crashing to the dark earth or soaring into the night sky!
I love playing spot-the-idiot-with-the-phone when your disclaimer comes up on screen. Lmao
((Thank you for respecting millennium force. Even though in the same park, steel vengeance has become my favorite coaster of all time.))
Edit: I’m now glad it’s number 1
I love Tatsu. There must be something wrong with me because I find it to be kind of relaxing.
The trip up the hill while you're lying down and looking at the people walking below is amazing
You and I both, I rode it once at sunset and it was mesmerizing! But not in a thrilling way but in the wow what beautiful flight way. The streaks of gold through sky and the twinkles on the tree tops. I was ready for a nap.🤣
My only ride on Fury was in the pouring rain and the kid next to me full on blacked out on the treble clef and fell on my lap. Idk if I like it better than the voyage but it's certainly the most memorable ride I had this year.
Lmao!
So glad to see Velocicoaster made this list, I absolutely love launch coasters, and it might be my favorite ride of all time. Then again, Steel Vengeance exists so it’s number two for me.
Fury Freeze is an EXCELLENT dippin dots flavor and it is indeed still there! It combines vanilla, blueberry and apple dots, the latter of which is super rare for ice cream in general, and a favorite of mine for years. When I learned it had apple flavor in it I was hooked immediately! I get some every time I go there.
Nice List! I've been on all of those. 16 of them are in my Top 25 and 9 are in my Top 10. I think I like the smaller RMC's a bit more than you do. Voyage, Outlaw Run, and Storm Chaser are the only ones in my Top 15 that weren't on your list.
I love the beast so much, it was the coaster that has made me a coaster geek
Same. It will always be my #1 for nostalgia sake and the fact it was my first "big" coaster as a kid 👍🤘 oh and the fact the night rides are absolutely the stuff of legend!
I love this list! I haven't been on as many coasters but I'm glad skyrush has so much of your praise! It's my number 2 coaster. Favorite at Hershey easily. The restraints don't hurt me until it stacks on the break run. Best first drop anywhere on the planet to me. I always love your lists!
Sky Rush is the only ride I’ve ever greyed out on.
@@MikeR65 first time in the front row I grayed out too. Right wing seat. Closest to the ground and that first drop was intense as hell. Skyrush is, one of a kind. And I don’t understand how anyone hates it besides the gp
I also love Fury so much! I live super close to Carowinds and only recently had the courage to ride it! Keep up the good work!
“And despite this trim brake, I grayed out on the spiral section that immediately follows it.”
That’s one of the reasons for trim brakes lol… to make sure trains are entering elements at the intended speed. They’re not just there to make the rides less fun lol…
My friend bribed me to ride the Time Traveler in 2019 in exchange for a steampunk themed hat. I normally don’t ride rollercoasters but that one was awesome. We sat forwards so that we were basically backwards for the entire first drop and I loved it!
Man the internet is something else, never thought of ending up in a costers’ freak channel!!! What a wonderful world 😂
Finally Peter I thought you gave up and I love when you use food to describe coasters
Great list man! I missed these.
Really enjoyed your list, Peter!
I 100% agree with you in your number one. SteVe is a legendary ride! I first ride it when I was twelve, and I love about 30-ish minutes away from CP. I wasn’t really into coasters then, but my parents did talk my into it, and I did willfully go on it. After I got off, that was the start of my coaster enthusiast days!
I am so lucky to have Kings Island as my home park, only 20 minutes away from where I live. The coasters are great, and it’s the night-ride capital! It makes me so happy to see it on these kinds of lists.
Incredible list! My current top 5 are: 1. The Beast, 2. El Toro, 3. Wicked Cyclone, 4. Banshee, 5. Fury 325🤘
Your opinion is good, I'd recommend checking out cedar point
@@4NSP0 I've actually been but it was pre-Steel Vengeance. I bet you might consider the rest of my Top 10 questionable 😂, 6. Superman: The Ride, 7. Orion, 8. GateKeeper, 9. Maverick, 10. Son Of Beast. Yes I know, I'm one of the crazy few that liked GateKeeper just as much as everything else as Cedar Point. Doesn't always have to be the most intense ride in the world to be awesome. Thanks for the comment, I'd be curious to know what your top 5 is? I'm only at 90 credits so far so I have alot to get to!
Hell yeah, much love to Banshee and the Beast!! 🥰
Brilliant video. Thanks!
when we got to the top 3, I finally settled that the velocicoaster was not going to be on this list. I believed that since it was so new, you hadn’t been on it. during my couple day stay at universal I made sure to come back to the velocicoaster as many times as I could. every single time it exceeded expectations. it was one of the first real roller coasters i’ve been on and is still the best. you explained it perfectly, it is so smooth and has so many elements that make it way better than expected. really makes me want to go back to universal. also I’m very glad the hagrid ride is on this list. it really brings you into the story while giving you a thrilling ride. two of my favorite rides of all time.
My favorite is probably Hagrids motorbike ride because it’s intense without throwing you upside down, because I have learned with roller coasters with loops always give my headaches.
Orion is in my top 10 too! Love that ride so much
Great in depth detail !
I think Burger King Foot Lettuce gets slept on way too much. The forces are actually really intense, and the head banging is practically non-existent, despite how many people complain about it. Also, the airtime is pretty legendary, too.
Thank you for the info and location of each coaster. I hate other channels that try to be cool with editing and skipping reviews referring back to old videos. 🙄 Great edit! And shot out to my hometown area theme park Kings Dominion in Virginia! 👏🏾
For the trees around lightning rod and Dollywood, i think it was a mix of thinning and also to prevent the fires from spreading to the park when the smokies had that wildfire
Great video, planning on making a trip to either Magic Mountain or Cedar Point but once I saw that X2 ride at Magic Mountain I have to go there. That ride is definition of fear for me, spinning upside down while doing a massive drop is just nuts.
It's always a miracle when Theme Park Crazy uploads a new video.
without it being a re upload 🥱
thanks for opening my eyes up to the term “greyout,” bc i definitely experienced it on velocicoaster
Your reaction on fury was pretty much the same as mine was when I got off shambhala. I need to come to carolina, and you need to come to Spain!
2 rollercoaster have cracked my back, in a good way, like a big friend giving you a strong hug. the 1st was Xcelerator at Knotts, the 2nd was Skyrush in the back.
I've ridden Ghostrider at night and I love it! It's a good coaster but it's the best at night. Especially if you sit in the front
Just did Lightning Rod about a month ago- what a wild ride. It was fantastic
the pretzel loop on tatsu was the only time I ever had to take a break after a coaster. that really messed me up my first time riding it.
Same here bro but my friends forced me to ride x2 when I was still recovering from tatsu's pretzel loop 🥨
Dude, my top 25 is extremely close to yours. We have almost exactly the same opinions. If you visit Voyage at Holiwood Nights, I think you would put Voyage at 2, as I do. X2 is my #3, Toro is my #4. We obviously share the same #1.
YESS new video! I’m at a wedding right now but once it’s done I’ll watch the video!
God I wish I still lived in Orlando. I would've gone on Velocicoaster like almost every week.
I love that you included tatsu 😊I love that ride so much
Wicked from Lagoon is definitely my favorite coaster I've been on. Before it I thought I didn't like roller coasters anymore but no, I just hadn't been on any good ones. It starts you off with a fairly fast speed as you go up a vertical track and it slows down for a second then throws you straight down at super high speeds. After that it's a few twists and turns and then it's over. Really short but definitely the best one I've been on. Sadly I didn't get the courage up to go on cannibal, next time I go I'm definitely going on that
Velocicoaster is my absolute favorite coaster. Somehow got lucky enough to sit in the first car just behind front row. Such a fun ride. Was out of my seat for most of it.
I thought I liked Steel Vengeance more than Fury but then I rode them back to back and it isn't so simple. I would say that SV is more consistently impressive due to its elements that aren't as speed based but Fury relies on speed, speed and more speed so you have to ride it at the right time (night). When the ride has awakened, it is truly something that no other coaster can match IMO. That level of prolonged speed while being thrown around like a ragdoll is tough to top in a steel coaster. For me, Steel Vengeance is sliding down my rankings a bit after the newness wore off whereas Fury is climbing back up again. I actually think Iron Gwazi is above SV. Voyage is my number one overall though. Holiwood Nights Voyage is the best coaster in the world by a wide margin IMO.
I rode The Beast for the first time this past weekend with my older brother at Kings Island, I loved it more than I thought I would!
OMG when you said Burger King foot lettuce my heart dropped "I was like what did you say!"
I love IncrediCoaster from Disney California Adventure, Supreme Scream from Knott's Berry Farm (even though it's not a roller coaster), and Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm
The only and fav Rollercoasters are all at cedar point. They all deserve to be known in my opinion
I can't believe you referenced Chills! I love you so much more now. 🖤💚💜
I want to go to Cedar Fair so badly ugh lol
Going to universal studios in July excited for velocicoaster!
I'm only slowly being able to ride coasters again now that I've slimmed down, but it is neck and neck between iron gwazi and VelociCoaster for my #1, fury 325 I'm hoping to tackle the next year or so
When I saw the blast ended skrewt I about blew up while on the coaster. I always wondered why they never put them in GoF they were honestly a main side plot so it was cool to see them.
Also, native Pittsburgher here. I do really love Phantom, I just can't take slamming into hard metal seats anymore. It hurts so bad and there are plenty of other intense coasters that don't hurt me like Phantom does.
I just wonder if the phantoms speed was slower if we would've slammed off the harnesses as bad. I cant ride like I used to. The Revenge bounces you everywhere especially the dips at the end.😣
Loved the review, your number 1 is my number 1 as well.
You can never go wrong with a RMC conversion
I rode steel vengeance for the very first time yesterday and it is without a doubt the best roller coasters I've ever ridden! I will be riding this again for sure!
Tatsu feels like you’ve got a jet pack on and it’s being controlled by a pro stunt pilot
Heck yeah baby!! I know what you mean with lightning rod, because the launch isn’t like a huge drop, you get a small one to get used to. Well you talked about Kennywood I started flipping, because I went there recently for the frost time and loved it! The only thing I didn’t ride was the black widow, but knew what it was and went on something like that about a week ago. I loved the phantom’s revenge and the air time was great! I get what he meant. Dollywood and Hershey were great too! I love your channel so much!!!
While I know that there are many newer roller coasters out there that are technically better (even in the same park), Millennium Force will probably always be number 1 for me. I rode it for the first time back in 2001 and it blew my mind. 22 years later, and I still enjoy it just as much. Thanks for mentioning it :)
Obviously none of you guys have ridden the caterpillar coaster at the traveling carnival that comes to my home town. The fact that it actually stays together combined with its incredible rickety sensation after the first drop is amazing
I would love to see someone recreate The Villain layout that was at Geauga Lake when it closed. It was VERY smooth for a woodie, and fast. What a great ride.
And try Steel Vengeance after dark. Don’t let the lights all over fool you: They are strategically placed to make you think you’re going to see where you’re going. That first 90 degree drop into darkness will quickly correct that misapprehension.
Your food metaphors crack me up. 😂
your reaction videos after riding some of these are the best part of the video🤣
All 3 of my favorites from kings island are on here and also last year orion had its own dippin dots flavor too that qas really good. It was cotton candy cookies and cream.
Here's a fun fact, I made steel vengeance from cedar point In planet coaster, I even made it's past life as mean streak and they are both in the green of excitement, fear, and nausea, they are all exciting roller coasters I made, I even saved them as my own blue prints
So cool. I liked mean streak, but I’m a sucker for antique and wood coasters. Steel Vengeance changed my life though, lol
You are literally my spirit animal lmao love you
👍🏻for info about the tree removal at Dollywood.
Not even two minutes and you had a food reference. Love it.
