Besides the compromises you'll get with those camcorders the Optics Stabilisation is phenomenal, never had anything consumer related that good all in one. Also a very nice feature is the built in beamer that some of those similar models came with.
the gimbal looks cool :) he probably uses it for normal videos (mentioned earlier reviews were shot on it) but now he's reviewing the camera so can't use it to record itself...guess that means he's using a phone instead this time (maybe) which has different exposure settings...just my guess since the other videos from today look fine...but maybe that proves by comparison how good this camcorder is lol...good review nonetheless
Loved using camcorders a few years back, nice form factor. Managed to get a AX43 mint 2nd hand for £415 ($ 525).It has been updated to AX43A which retains the same specs other than, has a new better screen.I bought it to take video of bands at musical festival this summer (end of the road). Looking forward to trying it out.
@@godzukshow are you liking yours? I have RX10/100 cameras that have terrible stabilization and my Panasonic 4k is grainy and shaky when used indoors. My old Sony XR500V HD camcorder has good stabilization but just a bit dated for IQ. I just bought an open box AX43A for $620 with 30day return option. Its primary use is around the house home videos that will look good with indoor lighting and smooth stable footage. Stabilizing footage is very important to me for home videos and I just want easy point and shoot for my wife to capture the kids growing up and doing silly stuff.
Чем больше матрица, тем проблемно сделать устойчивою стабилизацию.При большей матрице амплитуда качения объектива становится больше и поэтому в такой маленький размер камеры невозможно это сделать .А если сделать , то нужно отказаться от зума или он будет максимально 10 кратный. Больше размер камеры- больше у неё возможностей.

Camcorders are far better than phones IMO.

@@ekwilliam2974 I have original AX43 I was justing pointing out they (Sony) have updated the camera to a newer model AX43A.

The AX43 has a lower resolution screen than the AX53.
The AX 43A version which I own, has the upgraded display. Which is now identical in resolution to the A53.
