      He's not the only Ukrainian that's fighting for his country. Klitschko is the mayor and Loma has joined the territory defense militia in the Ukraine. But somehow you think someone that fights for a living has more courage than an old lady picking up a gun for the first time in her life so she can defend her home and her family ?

      @@matthew-jy5jp Pps all those pics are photoshopped 😂😂 Incredible level of dumbness we have here. Those boxers have million worthy contracts that dont allows them to bring themselves into danger without getting sued plus they need to stay ready for their fights. Maybe they went on a save side for a couple of days but on the pics you can clearly see that their heads are shopped on random soldiers. Its truly a shame and it even more a shame you believe that BS without comfirmation.

    It's not surprising that Usyk's training is very similar to Loma's - most of these training ideas come from Anatoly Lomachenko who was the Ukrainian Olympic coach in 2008 & 2012.
    Loma won gold at both and Usyk won gold in 2012. Anatoly also worked with Usyk on the Gassiev and Joshua fights.

    • @ajeibioche6795
      @ajeibioche6795 2 роки тому +1

      Anatoly is a genius and Usyk and Loma's success in boxing proves that. Anatoly is almost always in Usyks corner although not as a head coach and Usyk have credited him for his successes a few times

    He’s also an Eastern Orthodox Christian who serves in the liturgy as a subdeacon which means that he practices hesychia (otherwise known as the Yeshua prayer) which is a meditative, “noetic” prayer that consists in repeating the words “Christ, son of God, have mercy on me a sinner” ad infinitum, using a specific breathing pattern. This is a prayer known to cultivate mental and spiritual tranquility through the annihilation of unhealthy passions (lust, envy, hunger, selfishness, anger). This is a practice very effective in creating a sense of humility and calm in the lead up to every fight. As we all know, what happens between the ears of a fighter is every bit as important as what happens to his total physiology.

    • @matthew-jy5jp
      @matthew-jy5jp 2 роки тому

      You do realize that that Yeshua guy wasn't really into violence right ? And you should probably mention that Yeshua guy was brutally murdered and nailed to a tree

      @@matthew-jy5jp Give you right for the first part but the second.... well. maybe but that your both points are a bit confuse. Its just right that he shouldnt pray to fight for money and business. On the other side a fighter that prays for his weaknesses and the reason why they murdered a holy person dont collide really. Jesus or Jeshua just said no to their materialism thats why he got killed and today they claim he was one of them which he wasnt.

In the warm-up, the USSR players were doing back and then forward flips (all of them except the setter)! The setter was doing "windmills" with one arm going one way and the other arm the opposite and then SWITCHED!

If Usyk would not finish his professional career in football at the age of 15, he may be a world famous football player. He plays football more regulary than other games untill now. Last time he played for Ukrainian local team was in Turkey in Feb 2022. As for his footwork, the root of it is in practicing Ukrainian dance hopak from his first days of birth.

    Underwater training helps to optimise your oxygen absorbtion, lowers your heart rate and has a mental calming effect. When you can hold your breath for longer you force your body to be more efficient with absorbing oxygen or ocygen blood saturation. This is usually combined with high altitude training and lung capacity training. The idea is to intelectual more oxygen and them use this air as quickly as possible to saturate blood with oxygen. Cardio exercises are ment to train the body to pump/distribute oxygenated blood around the body. When blood oxygen levels fall it creates the feeling of exhaustion. The bigger/ taller heavyer espacially more jacked a boxer is the more oxygen he consumers. This is why many HW boxers ca last for 4 rounds and go into clinches to rest and why Usyk can go for 15 rounds keeping up and dictatong the pace. Its the same reason why he is not jacked and why he intentionally does not throw heavy punches (his heavy punches range from 50-70% power). Thanks to his speed, controll balance and awareness he is able to perfectly time and place punches causing them to deal double the damadge (50-70% power punch feels like a 100-140% punch).

He really makes me believe that he is the same guy in front and outside cameras. He is God fearing, modest and normal. I compare him with Ciryl Gane in the UFC heavyweight. I think it's true everything said in this video except one thing. I don't think it puts him in an uncomfortable position. I think doing the same thing non-stop is putting someone in the deep end. I'm saying this if you boxed at a young age and usyk has to pick let's skip and run like he's done from the start or dance and juggle I imagine many boxers would pick the latter. The reason I bring this up I hope he doesn't replace the traditional boxing training but just adds to it. If he does replace it it would be interesting to know if it works. I do think all the mind games and dexterity things are great add ons but I have noticed that usyk stomach isn't the strongest and his cardio isn't the best. Muhammad Ali danced on top of boxing but he would still skip and long distance run. I wonder if there is any new boxing training that could over take the old and tbh I don't think so. I just think there are add ons. To replace it it might be a good or bad short cut and I'm not talking about the reactionary, reflex and dexterity stuff. I'm more talking about strength and conditioning. I just wonder if a lot of short sprint stuff with the legs is as good as a long distance run for example.

    The only difference i see between Champions and non Champs is the Champions dont do anything else then training, everyday + good Recovery thats the Recipe to Succes.. I dont see nothing else you need to train, eat, sleep and repeat all over again for Decades at best!! Starting at a young Age but i also believe Age is only a Number you can still become World Champion if you start at 20-24 what ever if you realy do it correctly, have Talent and live this Life right.. Hes a Animal i hope his Country will survive this War and everything can go back to normal pretty soon, its realy no Joke People die there everyday ..

    This is how a true champion trains. I will be surprised if he can knock out Tyson Fury but Usyk could out point Fury to win the WBC. A very intense workout. Speed could be the reason for a points win .

    Is there any young heavyweight prospect on the way up the ranking? Who’s gonna carry this division when Usuk, Fury and Joshua is retired? They are all past their boxing youth prime so to speak.. 😊

    I've seen Lomachenko use these jenga type bricks and numbers chart too, is this a common approach for Ukrainian fighters?

    I`ve watched Oleks training and fighting for several years, and its obvious that he has a huge advantage over his opponents - and they never realise it - because fighters and their trainers are too egotistical to open themselves to others methods. Especially Brits, we are so closed in all sports, to the methods of others, and think that money is the key to every lock.

    a better version than loma? tas a delirious...loma is the best we've seen in decades, not even Ali has the same scientific technique, Anatoly Lomachenko has incorporated techniques from almost all martial arts, human motricity, biomechanics, functional psychology, and most important of all, total dedication of a lifetime in a single system of training, and he dedicated it all the time to vasily, which in this case the direction was boxing, and that a lot of people don't realize what's in this system. this system can be adapted to any sporting area and then adjusted specifically to the sport in question, I only see pseudo-intellectuals of youtubers trying to justify something they don't understand, just to gain views, many of them haven't even stepped in a ring.
