Chevy-swapped Foxbodies are *extremely* common. That's initially what made them such appealing drag cars. The reality is, these cars were _never_ good, and the conditions which led to their rise in popularity ironically no longer exist.
You could buy a dirt-cheap chassis with an 8.8", toss in a junkyard 350 / LQ, throw on some slicks, and flog it all day at the strip. Rip out the interior and accessories, the car weighs relatively nothing (

Viper body on a corvette chassis? At best, it's the other way around, if you're dead set on doing something so stupid. The V10 in the viper was a retuned tractor engine and it made them SUPER reliable. Vipers are very reliable, high fun, KYS machines.
