Is the 2017 Dodge Viper GTC a sports car worth the price?
Вставка

- The Viper was killed off my Dodge and 2017 was the final year of production. This Viper GTC takes the GTS platform to another level. Under the hood is an 8.4L V10 that is pumping out 645HP & mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. On the outside you will find very aggressive styling, 18/19in wheel setup, and brakes. On the inside the fit and finish is at the highest level of an other generation of the Viper. It also includes an 8.4in infotainment system and plenty of cargo space. Is the 2017 Dodge Viper GTC a sports car worth the price?

I remember being a little boy and getting a toy viper ,I thought it was such a beautiful car then and nothing has changed my mind about it. One of the greatest car ever built.
Absolutely
Lo mismo me paso ami
Such a gorgeous vehicle, wish Dodge still made this
Agreed
Hopefully they bring it back one day
@@TheCarKrazeOfficial this is so very true.
It will be back
@@donrisley947 yeah, only in automatic.
I've never seen you so happy driving a car lol. Vipers are something else, nothing like can compare. I'm blessed to own a Viper ACR. I still watch every Viper video like I've never seen them before. Great review as always!!
U better be enjoying that car lol!
pull up
You lucky bro you real lucky
Nice man. Maybe you'd donate to save some vipers in the jungle! Stay safe and drive well!
I was obsessed with these cars as a kid.
I would draw them, read books about them, and even made a small clay model that I kept in the freezer. I would download videos and pictures from limewire with my “AOL” cd dial-up modem lol
Now that I think about it; I just love the way it looks.
My school folders would be filled with viper pictures that I had printed from the local copy shop.
I would ride my bike there and even had it stolen in the process. It was one of the first things that I was eager to spend my money on.
Idk if I would have liked it so much if it wasn’t so fast 🤔 I told myself that I wasn’t going to get one but you know what? F*ck it 😈 we’re lucky to be alive.
We found the bike about 30 min later. Someone ditched it 3 blocks away next to a KFC lol
Okay time to hit the gym, the ore workout is kicking in.
The styling of this car is incredible. They really did it right with the last year.
You hit the mail on the head!

The Viper was the only car that actually competed with the corvette.
And won against it, too the point that it became better than it.
And the gt500

I rode in one of these a few years ago and the acceleration is brutal! The car is deafening and it is 100% percent worth it. And seeing the snake pop up when it goes up the rev range is amazing!
This car is so criminally underrated and it still looks beautiful and modern today. What a timeless design and all that power mated to a 6-speed manual make it even more special now in a world full of flappy paddle automatics. This is definitely another dream car for me. Thank you for sharing and well done! SUCH a shame this car is discontinued. Your word and emotion when talking about this car...I'm with you brother! Who needs engine sound piped in through the speakers when you are literally sitting over the exhaust. Man, I really do miss this car. Too bad I am not in a position to get one right now so I really appreciate this review. Such a special, special car for the real car enthusiast. BTW those shots with that huge American flag waving through the windows were just so fitting with this car. Perfect!
I'll start typing, once I've stopped drooling... the best thing Dodge ever made, period. Thank you for sharing this special moment with us, Joe. Thank YOU, Lori, for this sweetheart!
Trust me I know how you feel Adam!
I agree wholeheartedly!!
I agree with you, but I have to add the Durango to that list.
@@ronontech not going to disagree on that!

I discovered the Viper when I was 16 in the mid 90s and it’s been my favorite sports car since! So glad to see your excitement!!! And I can never get enough of those thicc, fatty tires! What a sexy car!
No matter whether Dodge stopped producing this, this is still one of the best V 10 sports car we had.
It's really bad to see Dodge pull the plug over this.
AWESOME VIDEO BUDDY. YOU BROUGHT BACK THE OLD V 10 NOSTALGIA 👍❤️
Watching this in 2023 can’t believe it 😢 first it was the v10, now there doing it with the v8 🤦🏼♂️ what in the world is Dodge doing 😢 sad honestly
I can’t afford this but man I HOPE it comes back, just a real beauty.

Thanks Luca! It truly was an amazing experience!
I love that Viper GTC and the interior is gorgeous , what a special car.
I felt emotional with the review, I love that car ❤️
I know how you feel!
The interior is perfection in my opinion at the price point and spec. So 🔥
AGREED!
Definitely the most beautiful American car ever. The sound of the V10 from those side pumps is music to my ears. I want one 👍
It’s really cool to see your enthusiasm and love for the cars your drive, especially the ones you know are unique and something we would all love to drive. Awesome job to you and your wife. Keep it up and we will keep watching
I’m sure neighbors love hearing that V10 roar
Heck yeah!
To hell with mid engine, this thing is BADASS. The line of the year right there folks.
Yes sir! I knew you would appreciate!
One of my favorite quotes in this video!!
@@givnofuchs5742 hell yeah!
i believe its front mid engine though?
This one, the R8, the LFA. There's just nothing like the sound of a V10. They're music instruments. But the Viper is sexy in a way the R8 and LFA can't match. And you got to drive it! You are the man!
One of the best cars you have reviewed Joe, i want that car just for the way it handles in the curves with those 19 inch wheels!!
Thanks Luis!

I actually laughed out loud.
I damn near choked on my water when you popped the hood! LOL That V10 is MASSIVE! I would never be able to afford it, but it's on my list of dream cars. I would love to see a review on an old Plymouth Prowler as well! I know they only had the V6 in them, but man, they were sexy as well! Amazing review as always Joe!
I absolutely love how you love this gorgeous hunk of Detroit iron, the 2017 Viper GTC.
If I were a multimillionaire I would literally buy this beautiful beast and give it to you. I could tell by looking how much you connected with her & you deserve each other. Sorry I haven't made my first million $$$ yet but, I'm working on it.
This Viper is one of the finest examples I've seen. Great vid, bro! Hang in there & keep saving up, I'm rooting for you. Love the channel.
Your best review yet. You need to keep having this much fun. You deserve it & it makes for great viewing.

Thank you Joe and Laurie. The ride along and great camera work is very much appreciated. GBU as always. Peace be with you.

Oh my God. I am so jealous of you for getting to test drive this beauty. This is the best car Dodge ever made and I was so disappointed they discontinued them.
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
Seriously....thank you so mcuh for reviewing this gorgeous beast
I'm re-watching this video after 5 months. I've decided to buy a Viper GTC-GTS as my next project car after I get my FR-S rebuilt and get some things settled down. This is an amazing piece of art. Thanks again Joe.

I have always absolutely loved vipers. They look amazing and the curves are just right along with how low and wide they are. Will forever be an iconic car, I just wish there were more driving around so I could see them and appreciate more in person.

Love what u do brother ♥️
I was detailing cars for a Lincoln-Mercury dealership when the Viper first launched. I remember thinking how much of a game changer it was. I love how they finished the run. This is a true super car. Bring it back, Dodge!
You're reviewing my dream car since childhood. Gonna attempt to snag a first or 2nd generation Viper RT10 once I have enough funds.
One day!
The RT10 was when I discovered the Viper! I hope you get what you’re looking for!
Had a few Vipers. Best transmission & clutch take-up/feel of any/every car I’ve ever owned (at least 40+). Love em. Best Dodge ever. Regret selling mine. I miss you, Viper!
You are a lucky man Ben!
I've been fortunate to own my Viper for 3 years this summer. It's awesome the reaction it generates in everyone. Always someone wanting to look or just stoked as you go by. Never thought I'd have the chance to own one but made the plunge and love it.
After all these years, I finally subscribed. This has to be one of your best videos. It has me smiling from ear to ear when you pushed on the gas.
That silver really looks good on this. Definitely accentuates those body lines!
You are so very right!
Incredible car. Usually you see the blue, green, or orange cars, but somehow this one in silver with the beige leather is pretty classy. I hear these cars are beasts to drive but the looks are absolutely incredible, and i bet you feel like superman driving one.
I think you nailed it! You sure do that is for sure!
I'll never forget the first time I saw a Viper, it was in 2006, I was 8 years old, there was a red and blue one in the showroom of a car dealership, been in love ever since, the 98 and current generation is my favorite, I'm 24 now and this is still my dream car 16+ years later!
I love the reviews with test drives you are reluctant to end.
My favorite car! The gen 5 Viper! It will be my next sports car after owning three ZO6'S.

Great job Joe👌. I've been a fan of yours for quite sometime now, and you always deliver the goods with perfect timing comedic improv😎. Being also a huge fan of the last gen Viper, I could really see and feel exactly what you were experiencing behind that naturally -aspirated "Analog Machine".....its totally unreal and a true "last of its kind". I test drove one (final year) back in '2017", and it was INSANITY. Continued Success my friend.🙏

The Viper is just so cool!
You got that right!
Awesome review Joe, I have been a fan of the viper since elementary school. Disappointed that they discontinued it. But you know what? It makes it even more special. I have seen more c8 corvettes than Gen V vipers, and the viper has been out since 2013, that tells you somethin about the snake
Thanks for letting me share it with you!
This probably one of your best reviews EVER!!!!!! Thanks for sharing it with us!!!!
You made me feel just right there with you BROTHER! Just seeing this magnificent machine going forward was AMAZING. Thank's for this review!!!!
Thanks man for taking the ride with me!
Man, I'm a Vette guy but still have a soft spot for the Viper. Really hope to see this car come back soon. If they threw a DCT in there as an option to help sell the car to the "manual only" crowd I think the sales would help it be a true competitor to the Vette. Also would give people who prefer front-engine an alternative. But it's gotta keep the V10 no matter what! Even if it were to downsize to a more European displacement such as the Huracan.
I totally agree with you!
Oh yes Raiti you getting close buddy please review that 2021 jaguar XJL But I do love the power of that viper
Will do man!

This car is savage, you need to be a REAL driver to handle this animal! This car scares the shit outta me.

Such an Amazing Car!! They need to bring this car back and make it a direct competitor to the Vette especially price wise with different engines. Thank you for the awesome review, don’t think I’ve ever seen this model year in person super rare.
This really is the perfect car for you Joe. I could see you falling in love with it as you drove it. I really hope someday you're able to own this beauty because I could tell it was really meant for you. The Viper was always my dream car as well. Had it framed on the wall as a kid. Glad to see the latest gen lives up to it's name! 🐍🔥

Thanks Dave! I am here just sharing my car passion.
14:10 One of the main reasons the Viper didn't sell is because of the side exhaust
Very difficult to get in and out without burning your legs on that massive foot-wide door sill
The car looks amazing, but can be a pain to live with, literally
I loved it!
The original was a death trap. But what a way to go.
