@@sharuraudioThat's Not how autism works... For some people it creates a inability to read other peoples emotions or emote in a understandable way. So no it's not just their personality that's causing it!
@@sharuraudio It's still under research but here are a few papers i found on the topic: "Structural MRI in Autism Spectrum Disorder" "Brain Magnetic Resonance Findings in 117 Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder under 5 Years Old" "The diagnosis of ASD with MRI: a systematic review and meta-analysis" It's currently not possible to diagnose someone with autism purely based on physical abnormalities and that's the reason why psychological evaluations are used for the diagnosis at this point in time. I suspect that in the following years we'll use a combined method. And I'd describe the Psychological examination as objectively since a set of strict critera have to be met for a diagnosis. Can you tell me why you think that isn't the case?
I worked with children with special needs for almost 6 years as an RN/OT and we don't call them "autistic". It's a huge spectrum with varying functional limitations/possibilites. But to make it simpler, ASD has problems with attention. It's difficult for them to "function" because you can't teach them how we "normally" teach kids at school. But at the same time, some become high functioning because, although they can't have attention to other activities, they can be hyper focused to one thing. But I can tell you are not "autistic" because you socialize..😇 And nope. They are not inferior, that's we call them SPECIAL.. I miss working with those people..❤
We’re going to need a comprehensive video about the hierarchy of the autistic classes. Maritime vs locomotive vs aircraft engineers, programmers vs chemists, etc. All the sectarian disputes would be educational for the rest of your ‘observational’ audience. Tap the glass and stir the pot; I’ll make popcorn.
Autism is observational yes, that's precisely why getting an honest diagnosis(yes, it's true you can just claim to have the symptoms and be diagnosed, honesty matters) is crucial for people who may not be proficient in metacognition. Not everyone is fully aware of who they are and why they act a certain way. It's why psychology and to a greater extent, philosophy exists. These institutions exist because humans need to understand themselves, complex creatures are hard to understand, why would we be any different? It's also why most diagnostic procedures are cut off after 22, by then your brain has fully developed and the need for diagnosis is gone. You've presumably survived this long, why bother? However, not everyone is capable of this, and so diagnosis is still key in treating autism. And yes autism *is* debilitating, not as much as people make it out to be but it's immensely taxing on the mind to for example, mask. There's a reason the term is largely used by that demographic. It can also help to categorize certain behaviors, so people know in advanced to tailor their own behavior in their presence. Granted at some point one must adapt to their environment, but it's nice to have a breather from time to time. Overall, you have the right stance on the matter, but its smeared by a lack of in depth understanding of how psychology actually works and why it's so prevelant. Granted, it's a waste of time to discuss it either way because life shapes who you are, not a diagnosis. There's no reason to ever investigate psychology if you yourself are mentally stable and have a healthy social life...
Autism does not make a person inferior because inferiority just as the perception of autism is a spectrum it is depending on the person observing what they consider to be inferior and what society as a collective hole deemed as inferior personally, I feel if people rag on people with autism that makes them inferior. They really have nothing better to do and they have no better words to critique whatever it is that they’re calling autistic as a fill-in for disapproving or not liking the content. Regardless of if you’re on the spectrum brother, you seem like a good dude, highly inquisitive and passionate. And I disagree with the assumption that just because there are billionaires with autism that means autistic people are not inferior. PS I think the reason people are saying that you may be autistic is because they get introduced to your content through a random recommendation and often in your videos you don’t do a great job explaining or letting people who aren’t aware of the complexities of audio understand what the subject of your video actually is Personally, I find you to be an interesting UA-camr. I think you cover stuff in a unique way, even strange topics such as this one so no being autistic does not make you inferior. people with inferiority complexes rag on autistic people because it makes them feel better about themselves and their own problems that they face being what THEY consider to be normal which in a lot of instances is themselves because they aren’t capable of self reflection they can only exert their negative energy onto those that they find strange in a reinforcement of their own insecurities. PS I feel like if you structured your videos particularly in the audio videos you could actually gain a pretty large following because you seem super knowledgeable about the subject. I just feel like the format is a bit off and you don’t do a good job of letting newcomers understand what it is you’re talking about that’s all I appreciate you approaching the subject and not coming off as a eugenics supporter I was worried you were gonna say some off face shit like we need to exterminate autistic people or something…😅

Some people with Asperger's/autism are my favourite, like Joscha Bach. But most regular ones are non-geniuses who don't give back to society what they require in special accommodation. Functionally it's a burden if they can't integrate well and others need to account for their condition.
"Don't give back to society what they request in special accommodations." Dude, you are literally advancing the useless eater dogma that Hitler was known for. That's a contemptible way to think about anyone.
The argument you're making is the same thing a certain German political party said in the 1930s and it's really disgusting. The idea that someone should be judged whether or not they cost more to exist in society versus how much they produce is weird.
Autism is multi-dimensional and spectral, just like talent and inferiority. Humans are extremely complex (though not hard to predict) and difficult to quantify and characterize without sophisticated neural networks and machine learning models, similar in complexity to the brain itself.
But he recommended the etymonic for like 2 years and then give it an f one day when he changed his mind. There are things about his channel I like including the fact that he's willing to call out some sacred cows. But I don't think it's true to say that he's never recommended something that even by his own definition would be rubbish. It literally spent the better part of a year or two recommending The etymonic as the only good IEM on the planet. Now he will admit that he no longer feels that way and thinks it's complete trash and an f.

I think it causes enhanced sensitivity in the upper mids which makes neutral things slightly too aggressive sounding. Also sibilance is a huge issue.
