@@elenafortinmusic I so appreciate it; one of my faves and Brent's arrangement goes deep in my musical soul. Your playing inspired me more as I'm working this one up as a rep fave. I also happen to have a big soft spot for Billy Preston as a person; his dignity and life struggles. Won't cite it here, just got an extra inspiration for the day watching Billy Preston featured in the star studded Tribute to George concert, available on UA-cam; Harrison wrote the song. I love Billy. Oh, and there is your organ, which he played in many venues. Great trip to San Diego for a wedding. Back in the saddle today. We're cold and dry for us here on the Oregon Coast; San Diego weather, I must say being reminded, is about as perfect as weather can be.
@ We are going through a cold snap! January can take your breath away in Ottawa. At least the good news is that the Rideau Canal can finally be opened to skaters after a couple of years of being closed. I'm thankful you pointed me in the direction of this collection. I'm not sure I love ALL the arrangements in the book--but this one in particular is really really nice. Glad you had a good trip! Haven't been to San Diego in a long time, but the weather is pretty perfect! (I'm missing Florida right now!)
