dawg these key caps are just 😩👌
can you give me these free? bec my keycaps are damaged. pls :(
Snazzy keycaps, but not my thing. Kind of too bad you didn't show it in a full 104 key keyboard.
Also I'm just here because I hope that eventually you'll show a keyboard that's essentially the MS Natural Ergonomic 4000, but nice and mechanical with hotswap, per-key RGB, and preferably in 3 separate pieces. Not all of us are willing to deal with a keyboard that doesn't have a numpad and dedicated Scroll Lock key.
"Made"? I would say designed. Some poor lads in China were the ones to make that.
Clacky/Thocky is underrated.
I would love a deep-dive into your design process, inspiration, and what working with different manufacturers is like. Keycaps are my favorite part of the hobby and I feel like there's not very much information around about how they get made.
Seconded, really enjoyed Matthew Encina’s video on the design process for his custom keycaps and working with GMK. I think he’s now releasing a set with KBDfans. I’m not someone who’s likely to ever want to release a set nor am I a hugely creative type, but learning more about the design and manufacturing side of the hobby is super interesting!
your budget info is a lifesaver and also watching you get this nerdy over this exxxxxtreme end of keyboards is just wholesome
I just wanted to say, thank you! After watching a bunch of your videos, and years of only having crummy cheap keyboards, I have finally taken the dive into customizing a keyboard for myself. I took inspiration from your AliExpress video (because I'm on a STRICT budget). I'm excitedly waiting for everything to arrive!
leave while you can!
Such a cool process!! I’m so happy for you!!
REALLY like the direction of this vid, feels more transparent somehow, seeing more of your living space, background on the process, feels more like a slice of life content mixed with keyboards. Great vid.
Good job hipyo✨
2:40 Don't forget the sticker!! No!!
this set looks beautiful! good job! 🎉
Is Alfred your twin brother? You guys really look alike!
😏
Just ordered mine, so hyped to get them!
thanks for sharing your process hipyo, this was pretty cool to see!
They do look nice. Having the quality of the legends and colors proper makes a big difference, I actually have 5 keyboards now after I watched your videos and 8 sets of switches. I have been eyeing key caps as my next venture. These are actually very nice.
It's a beautiful set and the art is really cute. Congrats on the product. 😊
I love these way to go Hipyo
SUPER nice keycap set!!! I am super glad you are getting into the making of your own keyboard accessories and I hope to buy a keyboard that you have made as well one day 😊. Keep it up!
Beautiful caps, congratulations.
That's so cool! Your colour choices were very slay 💅
Alfred's latte art is disappointing
Shut up
I guess we know why he's not a barista anymore.
On god
Would absolutely love to learn more! I’ve just started digging into how to make my own set and your timing couldn’t be better!
I've been looking for a coffee or espresso theme keyboard for weeks, and you gave me both in one! Thanks a lot!
Nice job, Hipyo!
Congratulations on completing the keycap set!! They look amazing ⌨🎉 Hoping they’ll be in stock around my birthday 😊
Omg I love the iced latte switches!! They really smell like coffee! They sound and feel SO nice ❤
They would look gorgeous on a brown sugar65
It was crazy seeing this set in person! Congrats on your success!
I'd like to hear more about the key cap dev. Thanks Hipyo!
I've been waiting for this... Getting my own kit tomorrow!!!
Man thanks so much for using my switches here! It fit the theme perfectly. Absolutely love these caps and the process was so interesting to see!
This coffee keycap set is nice. Great work
They look great!
i love the more chill vids! you should do some more soon
AYY CONGRATS ON 1 MILLION SUBS!
Man those are adorable!
love it ! received them in 72hrs (greetings from the Netherlands)
That's the keycaps from that video that I loved the colors of! Super into these...
Congrats on 1 million subs!
beautiful set!
As a fellow Seattle-ite....I cannot wait for this set to arrive AND for my Rain75 to arrive. Coffee and Rain? Sounds like heaven to me.
Thanks for helping me get into keyboards. I was using an Apple keyboard and now i'm using a mechanical keyboard.
It even sounds like coffee brewing, good job :3
As a self-proclamed coffee enthusiast, I was looking for decent coffee themed keycaps to go with coffee themed deskpad. Unfortunately, I already got myself NicePBT Thai Tea set, but I'll will definitely buy this set too.
Those look so great, just tried my first dye sub pbt this past week and I definitely prefer them. Also a weird recommendation of a keyboard to try out is the Redragon Eisa. It is pretty cheap and is actually very good despite what I usually thought about the brand when I last tried them.
These look very good. My wait for a Hipyo ABS keycap set continues….
Congrats!
I would LOVE to have a super long video about every details of custom keycaps making!
I'm still pretty new to the keyboarding hobby, and I've learned a lot from your videos (thank you btw!); but, I would love to hear about/see a video on the keycap design process.
Ngl those look really nice
The keycaps look really good :3
nice video hipyo i l y. the keycap looks cool, i always wanted a pack
This looks awesome! If any way possible, please bring back the matching deskmat as well.
yes
It sounds so creamy! :D They look amazing though!
Fill it with coffee beans
Thank you for reminding me that preference is personal and it's ok!
The color scheme and images are great. If it was in a profile I like, with big centered labels, it'd be tempting. (profiles with spherical scoops instead of cylindrical, like DSA and MT3)
Dude I can’t lie these are top notch keys. Hopefully I can get some soon
Saw these keycaps in person at the Studio Keebli UCSD event and they are GORGEOUS
Also it was a great experience meeting you at the event I was star struck to say the least-
Got them on my zoom 98 they came out the day I built it and they look really good 👌
I subscribed because you are amusing, but I originally found your channel because of the crazy keyboard mod videos you used to do.
Only been in the hobby about a year & I already have 8 keyboards (but disappointingly none of them have actually needed to be modded).
About to make my first custom keyboard, might switch my white keycaps out for these or the hippos
Nice vid mate
dude i just saw these keycaps because first i saw the GMK Tiramisu set and was like "wow" ok that looks cool but then realized its ABS. then i went to look for brown or coffee themed keycaps and found these. I decided to go with them and then i noticed they were designed by you haha.
So this is what that pole was for... Great Work!
Sooner or later Hipyo will remember that ISO layout exists (if only for a build).
I have now noticed (after actually following the links) that the set includes ISO keys... and every other key you could possibly want. Very thorough, i'll give them that.
Looks freaking great! And awesome that you made the base kit so comprehensive - as a filthy Nordic ISO user, i probably won't be able to important these without hefty toll and "handling" fees, but do you have any plans for possible international kits?
On another note, during the design process, did you ever look in to and consider different profiles other than cherry?
Wich i could afford the keycaps they look so so good nice workhipyo, will buy when i have neough money :)
Omg my first keyboard is literally your plant key caps, the iced latte switches and the zoom 98! It sounds ✨ HEAVENLY✨ Now everyone is jealous and I've sent them to your videos to find one of their own. My girlfriend just bought the Epomaker Leobog keyboard from your video!
It's cute!
I bought them. Put them in a Keychron board with AKKO Cream Blue Pro V3's. Fantastic!
Hi hipyo do you know when the zoom75 will be back in stock? (I want to build a keyboard with your new keycap set :D)
Would LOVE an indepth look the keycap dev!! :D
Also, crazy timing too because I attempted a coffee-themed build with the new QK65v2 Classic Champagne colour. The Neo80 in Champagne could be a gorgeous golden/bronze colour to show off these keycaps on a larger build TKL build 🥰 I wasn't able to get coffee-themed switches in time for my build, but my choice might be the budget-friendly HMX Macchiatos! and apparently Alexoto's fave HMX switch too ☺
Hey Hipyo, could you review the attack shark k85? Thank you for the great content and all the info!
I would have bought these if I had a mechanical keyboard and you had a nordic-se layout but for now I love my membrane it sounds so perfect in my ears and has gained sentimental value over the years, going from a cheap keyboard I bought because I needed one to a keyboard I NEED to replace(missing space keycap so I put the home button there instead, fn not working and one other hey not working) but so don't want to replace.
love this keycap
Good job with key caps
incredible dedication icl i would not be able to do this LOL
they have black tape in that width so you don't have to do thousand cuts..
love the content and these coffee keycaps may be coming home.
yes!!! The keycaps look incredible, congrats. I’d love a full deep dive into the software you used and design side of your process. I want to design my own set one day. Does the set come with Mac modifiers?
No mac modifiers but I use some OS neutral keys
I bought a set of these for a keyboard that I am making for my mom's birthday. I can't wait to get them.
Yo w key caps now I can get a caffeine addiction while typing😂😂😂😂😂😂
Bro I like coffee and this is epic bro 🔥
received in 72 hrs . very nice greetings from the Netherlands:) ☕
love ur vids hipyo
I would love a deep dive into making the keycaps. An hour long vid would be amazing. I've recently gotten my wife into mech keyboards and she want's to use her die sub cricut stuff to make one off keycap sets. Have you seen similar to her idea?
Wow another coffee stained key cap set. Impressive.
would love a deep dive! i have an idea for my own, i’ve been thinking of for a bit, as i can’t find anything like it in the market, and want to see if it’s possible for me to make one!
You went with "Super"? Man, I've been waiting for a "Hyper" in a keycaps set for ages! "Meta" is pretty rare, but I've seen it and have a set with it (although it's not a great set). I'd snap up a "Hyper" set (which, given the coffee theme, would actually make a lot of sense). Still, it's a pretty nice set. The color palette is very nice to look at.
congrats :D
any recommendations for alternate metal keyboards? Just getting started and would love to start with those keycaps, but don't know/have much experience with building but replacing the keycaps seems simple enough. Just don't know about lubing, stabilizers, etc. I was thinking of the nuphy gem80 since all you need to complete are the switches and keycaps
Thank you Jay Barouchel
I'm new into custom keyboards and really struggling to find a FULL Size keyboard to match the Fractal North design. dark wood (walnut) , coffee, creamy. Any suggestions?
Love this channel.
We are still pretty happy with our Garden set from last fall with Goblinkeys, that you oddly didn't mention :) I hope all went well with that one as ours is quite nice. Big fan of coffee but not necessarily of brown keyboard but perhaps I should be! Will definitely considering picking up a set!
I absolutely adore that set, but it wasn't quite up to my standards (still good but some QC issues after the fact) so I am not as proud of it
Nice work 👍 can you recommend good sets for green keyboard? (Cycle7 jasper for example)
great vid and i love ur coffee keycaps.i also got a question i have a problem with my stabs it got this weird problem when i half press it and spam it, it gets significantly heavier to press i just installed durock plate mounted stabs and lubing makes it worse plz help
(Only asking it on yt coz reddit is apparently useless)
Edit: No my spacebar is not warped
You should try the Sugar65 its a 30$ aluminum keyboard
Is there a larger one with the extra numbers?
vgn n75 pro or ajazz ak820 pro? and please recommend me what switches i should get. Thank you love your videos.
I just rec'd my set this week, and they're fantastic. Great job, Hipyo.
Do you think you'll give out some of the prototypes you've made? I'd LOVE to have one!
The true Seattle keycaps, Also this is exactly what im subscribed for.
