I feel you. In theory, it sounds a little ridiculous but in practice, it surprisingly works. Honestly, after watching the video, I could not confirm whether the middle parting suits round faces but I'm glad to hear that I am not the only one with this opinion or experience. 🥹
@@se-uh8br The middle part gives some length to a round face by showing the forehead and slims it up by having hair coming down on both sides of the face. It works for me too, side partings are a big no no lol
I have a round face and currently keep a middle part but my problem is I have thin/not a lot of hair so a lot of my scalp shows through the parting AND I have a crazy cowlick in the back to where it makes me look like I'm balding. But if I have a side part like I used to have, there's the illusion of volume and my scalp isn't as visible at the parting. If I had denser hair I wouldn't have to worry about how I style it. 😢
God loves you! You can repent and believe that Jesus paid the price for our sins! Because He can give you so much love, joy and peace! God bless you You are worthy in His eyes
You can still choose how you part your hair even if you go for a ponytail all the time. :) Fun fact: I've found that somewhat higher ponytails (tied on the level of your ears or slightly above it) suit most people much better than low ones, regardless of their facial shape! But you do you, of course. Your comfort with your own hair is always paramount.

In the 40's, you'll notice many women had a 'deep side part' - that look now can translate as old fashioned/dated. In the 60's and 70's the center part was 'it' - you wouldn't dream of parting your hair on the side. Now, I think a center part looks good on younger women - my opinion. I do think most women look best in some type of soft side part - I especially like a side part that starts on the side, but works it's way back to the middle - sort of an asymmetrical part if you will.
Unlike everyone else, I think that the central part is not as good for oval faces and regular features as it is believed to be. It's an issue with too much symetry. I'd say slightly off-side (1-2 cm) is a better choice.
When you tell me to take a selfie i took a selfie and i felt i look attractive while i took 5.5 parting. And i will also try that round parting too. But right now i remember i have long bangs so usually I don't know what hair parting will suit me. Anyway , thanks, i look cute in my selfie ❤. Edit: i am your new subscriber ❤❤
So true. My right side has bigger, higher, more oblique eye, better brow and stronger zygomatic contraction wich makes my lip comisure look way better when I smile. Whenever I see films and shows (or people in real life), I' ve realized that the vast majority of then is "leftie". I didn' t know that we are only a 10%😅. I can be _selfie bestie_ with 90% of the population! 😜
I can only do a deep side part on my left side because of a large hair whorl at the front center of my head with a widow's peak that runs in the opposite direction, and a cowlick beside it on the right. My hairline is a mess, haha.
I've been doing this since I was 13, intuitively... I'm 31 at the moment and still part my hair from left to right, all the damn time. I've tried middle or right side parting, but it just never feels right.
parting the hair to the left actually means more hair will be to the right! parting to the left means the part is on the left. if it helps to picture it, imagine a book opened 3/4 of the way. the side with more pages will be the side opposite to where you have parted them :) hope this helps!
And if I have asymmetrical face? My left side is round and my right side is sharp and slim, to which side I should part my hair please!! (pd: I prefer my left side)
This is very helpful!! but i have question, my usual default parting is on my left side, but now i come to realize that i prefer my right side in photos even tho my jaw's wider on that side, and also because my right eye looks smaller than my left so when i pose with my right side my eyes look balanced, so my overall right side profile is better .. how do you solve this?
I just realized this today 😂😂😂 I have better right side than left side and I always part my hair on the left and it always annoy me. Never really bothered with beauty until now tho
Left us my better side to i did the opposite i covered my worst side why would i flip my hair to hide my best side? That's dumb. And in the end i figured out i look best with slightly off center part. And this is how my hair naturally decides so this is hiw i wear it. Simple.
Please pray for me as I decide to move back to my husband who hurt and harmed me. Pray that I am going back into the battlefield in faith with God as my Protector and Defender as well as the Prince of Peace to touch my husband's heart. AMEN!
In fact, there are many reasons for having a big forehead. It may be due to facial proportions, be related to crown length, or be influenced by the hairline, etc. There are various causes. However, I can‘t see your face. Based on your description, if we assume a vertically longer forehead, a 5:5 parting can make your forehead look longer (unless you have bangs). Opting for a side parting to slightly cover the top of your forehead with your hair in a hairstyle that cover the hairline is effective to cover a wide forehead!😊

What do I do if my chin is exactly on the straight....I tried the *T* method and my chin exactly came in the middle not a lil left or right 🙂 I look good when my hair is parted on the left and right 🥲
@@ychansluvv It looks good on both sides like when i do it on my right side I look cute but on the left side i look like a hot girl but I never look good in front of the camera
@@STAYing_for_kids Pose totally frontally and ask somebody to take a pic. Zoom in. As someone with a round face, the middle part just looks the most flattering on me. Side parts aren't for everyone.

Plus middle partings are iconic. They've been worn by women of so many cultures throughout centuries!

I've been doing my parting wrong since forever?! O gosh!
Thanks!! I just parted my hair on the left and it looks so good!
The video was very informative and good but the Jerry at the end was hit different😂
Thank youu, you really helped me, may Allah bless you ☝🏻🌌
Would a 5:5 parting be useful for a wider forehead?
I can only do a deep side part on my left side because of a large hair whorl at the front center of my head with a widow's peak that runs in the opposite direction, and a cowlick beside it on the right. My hairline is a mess, haha.

I've been doing this since I was 13, intuitively... I'm 31 at the moment and still part my hair from left to right, all the damn time. I've tried middle or right side parting, but it just never feels right.
The asymetrical side of my face (lower) is the one I like better.
How do I win here? 😅
I like to show my right side of the face but i part my hair from left side . It looks much better on me than other partitions.
I take selfies of the right side because I’m right handed.
Middle parting is not for me sure...
Side parting suits me more ❤
i prefer my right side damn
I am doing side partition from childhood and now if i do mid partition it doesn't look good it totally changes my look .
I have asymmetrical face still front pary looks good on me
okay parting the hair to the left means more hair must be on the left side right?? i'm not native in english so...just to be sure
parting the hair to the left actually means more hair will be to the right! parting to the left means the part is on the left. if it helps to picture it, imagine a book opened 3/4 of the way. the side with more pages will be the side opposite to where you have parted them :) hope this helps!
It parts on the right naturally so it's either that or no parting at all because I wear updos 90% of the time.
And if I have asymmetrical face? My left side is round and my right side is sharp and slim, to which side I should part my hair please!! (pd: I prefer my left side)
If you prefer left side part you hair in left side
This is very helpful!! but i have question, my usual default parting is on my left side, but now i come to realize that i prefer my right side in photos even tho my jaw's wider on that side, and also because my right eye looks smaller than my left so when i pose with my right side my eyes look balanced, so my overall right side profile is better .. how do you solve this?
I'm in a similar situation. I think I'll just try both ways, take selfies and ask for opinions
parting my hair more to the left eye bcuz im blind on the right one so its fine when hair covers its view

But the video is 4 min and 15 sec long...

alright ty!@@MysticalManhwaMuse
I just realized this today 😂😂😂 I have better right side than left side and I always part my hair on the left and it always annoy me. Never really bothered with beauty until now tho
My left side is my prettier side but i have to part it to the right to cover my sunken forehead that i have only on the right aide 😭
So basically if I like my left side better, I should put more hair on the left side?
If u like ur left side more then u should put more hair on the right side
