HI Carmen, it's great to hear you talk about your outdoor plants! I've been watching with interest, your Francisii! I have one as well, and she's a tiny gal with very little growth. Healthy, but just very slow growing. Yours is a lot larger and the new growth is definitely interesting. My plants are not outside as yet. We had some really warm days, and we are back to freezing at night. I only took a few plants outdoors to get good showers and watering but all are back inside. welcome back to Florida!
@@carmenwhitehead next time you come to arizona, I’d love to have you at my old town Scottsdale garden … it’s at the second nature clinic on 1st Ave… just west of Scottsdale road
I think it may be too far. It's about 10 feet. I think I will hang them from the ceiling. It's regular drywall up there and I can screw in some hooks. I would just need to hang the macrames with some extensions because it high also. I guess many of the homes here are built with cinder block because of hurricanes. Which makes sense and I definitely feel safer living in one.
Hi carmen love love this video don't mind the struggles as you say they will either come around or go to the trash. Iam happy to know that you and your mum share plants that's awsome. Keep the good work up and thank you for sharing.
They do! I thought it would be too humid for them, but no. They really like the morning sun and being a little sheltered from the rain is helpful. Thanks for visiting and have a wonderful Easter.
I really really love the Joseph’s Coat!!!! The color is beautiful!!!!! I struggle with the Brandi as well! Not sure what it is!!!!! When I bought it, it was so full of water and struggling. It hasn’t seemed to fully recover.
GM Carmen, your collection is beautiful, everyone seems happy, of course there will be a few not thriving as to be expected. Mealy bugs are the worse ugh, check on your Baltic every week, those pesky buggers sometimes return to the scene of the crime😂. Hanging the plants that you mentioned will look great👌. Have a great week!
My Brandi looks about like yours 😂 I just took a bunch off and hope it will grow nicely. Not holding out much hope. I’m really glad you show the great, good, bad AND the ugly. You are so real 🥰
Hi Carmen!....it must be a real job looking after all your plants. I have about 40 plants and I find it tough to keep track of which ones need lots of light and the ones that don't require too much.Same goes with which ones require more watering than others. I guess that after a while you get to know all this. I'm impressed with your knowledge of all the plant names.Thank you for sharing all your knowledge.🇨🇦 April 8,2023
Yeah, after a while you get to know them and you can tell simply by looking at them if they need something. LOL! droopy leaves -needs water. Yellow leaves- too much water, back off. etc.
The Encheveria dusty rose looks like it’s upside down to me. I’ve never seen one like that. If it was April 1, I would think it was an April Fool’s joke. Are you serious? Donna
Yes, it's covered and has a screen enclosure. It gets morning sun, so they get about 4-5 hours of direct sun, but it's not harsh at that time. One of the reasons we got this house! LOL!
They look great in the patio,👍
💚🌱🌵☘️💚
Thanks Syliva!
I love the potting table and the cacti.

I just moved mine out to the patio and I'm hoping she'll grow even more out there. The humidity doesn't seem to bother her. Thanks for watching!
Hello Carmen, your echeverias need a lot more sunlight, that's why they are growing elongated and with the leaves upside down. Thanks for the videos.
Thanks for the tips!
Hi Carmen! Why do you have cacti and succulents on a shaded patio… they need full sun.
They get full sun every morning. This patio is east facing and no trees to block it. They are loving it and doing great. Thanks for stopping by!
I always wanted to have cacti and succulents. What ones would do best in a east window?
Lookin good Carmen! I’ll bet the plants love Florida!
So far, they seem to love it. Thanks for watching!

It’s not a pitch to sell naturopath services… but, the address is on the second nature website.
@@OfftoShambala I would love to. I'll definitely let you know next time I'm in town. Thanks!
Hi Carmen, how far between walls in your patio? Maybe you can use a tension rod for the hanging plants?

What a nice patio setup you have, the plants are looking good. 😊
Thanks! 😊
The cactus and succulents seem to like your patio. Have a blessed day carmen.

question about your holiday cactus. when the buds die do you just leave them? or cut off the end? thank you
After they bloom I pull them off if they don't fall off on their own.
All of my starfish pups begin with open leaves that close as they mature.
That's what another subscriber said. I must never have noticed it. Thanks so much Terri!

My Brandi started out fine and after we moved she went downhill. I'm hoping she'll snap out of it.

I look at it everyday actually, as soon as I see a little white speck, I'm on it. Thanks so much for stopping by Elizabeth!
👌Carmen is on the case😛🤩

I'm holding out hope for Brandi that she'll get better. Happy Easter Vicky!
Cylindrica babies begin flat then slowly fold over and become tubular then close to adult cylindrical form.
I must never have noticed it before. Thanks so much!
Hola Carmen "FIRST"😂💕
Do you have a PO box ?
My rats tail and monkey tail is starting to get flower buds
Not yet. I will be getting one soon. I'll let y'all know when I do have one.

Well, that's how it looks. It's not the best for sure, it certainly needs work. Thanks for watching.
