part of the magic if a tesla is the no compromises AWD. its not like a gas car with a transfer case and differentials/driveshafts eating efficiency. its just seamless torque to both axles. It's hard to pass on all electric awd.
Hi and thanks for this! I have the exact same one and my wife has a 2024 Model 3 RWD. Our first two TESLAs. 55 years old here and had a multitude of cars. My favorite by far. I sold 4-5 TESLAS in the last 4 months just showing that a lot goes into the details with a TESLA. They really are fantastic cars. And when you get into a normal car, you see the people frustrated with their entertainment systems that just dont connect etc…the app alone is light years ahead of a Mazda app for exemple. Just not the same. Thanks!
I've had my Model 3 Long Range AWD for about 2 weeks now. The turn signals are still inconvenient at times. Roundabouts leaves me chasing the turn button. The image of your car on the screen is so precise that the display window will go down at the same time as your actual window...same with door, trunk and hood. The light show is a gimmick and so impressive. Full self driving is not worth it for me. I drive around 5000 miles a year with a 3 minute commute to work. This is my 13th year of driving electric cars exclusively. My first Tesla but probably not my last. With comparatively cheap electricity, it's just a fantastic option for me. I had a lady ask about the car and then tell me she would ride a horse before she would every drive an electric car. (Until she realized stall maintenance is a crappy job...pun intended) I told her she sounded like my grandma with electric ice boxes until they stopped delivering ice.
You get used to the turn signals very well after 4-5 weeks of driving. I thought I never get used to it after 2-3 weeks, but that changed dramatically after 4-5 weeks. No I do not want to have sticks.
I'm holding off until next year to see what they do with the Model Y. Hopefully they will spec. it out the same as the new model 3. Hopefully providing the same updates(battery, front face, motors...) that they did with the new 3. I'm happily surprised with the 3 rear wheel drive long range. I test drove that and it's still quick enough and quie, the stereo isn't bad either.
Great review video! I have the same car as you, but mine is white. I've had it for 5 months and I've already put around 8,000 miles on it. This car is amazing! If I had known, I should've waited a bit to get the tax credit 😂, but overall, it's worth it to own one.
@@Jst4vdeosI have the Galaxy S24 Ultra, which has UWB, and the hands-free automatic trunk doesn't work. Tesla has to update the Android app. I don't have a clue why it's taking so long. 😩
@@gabrielmoralesvelez damn that sucks, if it’s any consolation I hit the trunk button anyway because it’s not worth waiting 5 seconds for it to beep 3 times and auto open

Hi Tesla Volt I liked your content its very informational and precise. I'm planning to get one by the end of the year just wanted to ask if your code is applicable in the middle east region.
How hard is it to get up out of, I’m 6 feet with long legs, and my little Mama is elderly and has a problem getting up out of a seating position if it’s too low??
In the rear seats if my kids are watching Netflix or UA-cam where does the audio come from? Can you watch different videos from Netflix or UA-cam while sitting in the front or back seat? I would hate to have to watch my kids YT videos in the front and listen to them. I am hoping its a Bluetooth headphone connection.
I've got the MYLR with acceleration boost late 2023 HW4. Very fast. Faster than I need for sure. I drove a recent (but not highland) Model 3 for about a week and definitely a far inferior car. The newer Y or model 3 is far, far better.
Theres no generaly better or worse, it depends whats more important to you… just from types of vehicles, sedan vs suv, model 3 will handle better and be more eficient while Y will have more interior space (hight), bigger trunk opening and easier entering (extra hight)…
That's true. The 3 RWD LR is still very quick, 4.8 to 60, range of about 360 miles as compared to the Y equivalent of 6.3 to 60 and range of 320 miles. So the Y's advantage is interior space and ride height vs ride, performance, and range. Hard choices to make.
I'm in Canada with the RWD MY. Winter tires are 90% of combatting the snow. The RWD has the superior battery and $10k savings here. The AWD runs the rear motor 95% of the time. Now if you are offroading or rock climbing the AWD helps. Also if you want the performance of M3, you'd want the dual motor.
Ok. I absolutely love it. But I have a realization. I’m either getting old or I’m behind the times. I found myself at the age of 30 watching this and saying “it’s just too much tech”. Huge self cringe moment. IM SORRY
Mine is gonna be here soon but to be honest. IMO, Tesla’s are ugly AF. I’m only getting it to save money on gas and repairs. 😂😂😂. Getting it for my wife but I would rather have the Lexus es300 hybrid. Looks way better and the interior is way better.
I had a 2021 Lexus ES 350 FWD, a 2021 Toyota Highlander hybrid AWD, an Audi 2019 Q7 3.0T Quattro recently. My current car is a 2023 Tesla Model Y LR AWD. So I have experience and I can tell you, Teslas are much superior than these other brands. TESLA >>>>.. but good luck with your decision and enjoy it!!

Let's go!!
Agree 100% about handling of Model 3 v Model Y. Model 3 is a much better ride.
Great presentation. Do the rear windows have dual panes of glass?
Thanks for the review. Are you buying or leasing?
Of course! I am buying!
