    The boy damn near broke his ribs for y'all, lacerated his kidney for y'all, and kept y'all in the playoffs in the mean time. And that's how you treat him. That's pitiful.

    • @Celwood
      @Celwood 5 років тому +7

      Exactly! What's the point of making all of that money just to struggle to get out of the bed by the age of 35...I guarantee most of the people booing him have never played a down of football in their life! They have no idea how hard football is on the body! In my opinion, It's a very selfless decision to leave the game, he knows he can't perform and is walking away from sticking around to make a lot more money. He is a class act in my book!

These 'so called Colts, need to try rehabing from a relatively rudimentary injury such a fractured clavicle for instance, then take the field to be thrown around by someone who's 6'6" 300lbs and can bench his bodyweight as well as run a 4.45. @Mula mafioso this is one of the most brain dead takes I have ever seen lmao Luck with a torn shoulder labrum is 10x the QB Mike Vick was during his best QB season with the Eagles. Mike Vick couldn't hit the broad side of a barn for 12 of his 13 seasons. The only thing he sort of consistently did well was run and his only claim to greatness was being a highlight reel in the open field.

You’ve mentioned it in quite a few videos, and I think it’s something that people wouldn’t really know unless they did the research, or know someone who’s a student athlete. I wasn’t a student athlete, but I went to Texas Tech, and had a few friends who were on the football and basketball teams. And, the only time you would see them was either on a Saturday night during the off-season, or on a Sunday. But that’s it, their schedules are crazy crazy full.

      It's literally why gronk retired. Ability wise he is far from done being he still the best blocking TE in the league with the ability to catch, he could easily take a reduced role and squeeze out another couple of years. But I don't think anyone has ever been through as many chronic injuries as he has.
      Most people don't consider how much of a decider pain is. In Gronks case we're talking about the greatest TE ever and that's without him ever being healthy. And as much as I dislike the colts, it's clear Luck could have ranked high on the all time list if he had health on his side.
      Who knows maybe he sits out the year, gets some time to enjoy being healthy and maybe he comes back. I personally think they could have just IR'd him and give him as much time as he needed out of curiosity but like I'm not irrsay (if nothing else I can't afford the coke and I never had a DUI)
      But yea, from a pats fan hope this dude gets to enjoy life, he's kinda worked hard for it ^_~

    Now Joe Burrow looking like he might be the next to deal with this and it's just his rookie season. People say holding out, demanding trades or trying to find ways out of getting drafted into bad situations is selfish but Luck was once considered a generational talent and almost a lock for the hall of fame and yet now he's out of the league and already admitted he's having difficulty just functioning as a human being with all the hits he's taken. Sometimes you gotta look out for your own health because the people who should be looking out for you couldn't care less.

      Joe Burrow wasn't even the most pressured rookie QB. This is just a short sighted comment. Even if he decided to force his way from Cincinnati, what is he going to do force his way to one of the 4 teams that allowed more pressure than the Bengals? If your a top pick you go to a bad team but at least the Bengals have shown they can consistently field a playoff team w/o a great QB, something none of these teams like the Jets can say.

    Luck did the right thing. At the end of the day, his health is more important than any game. Colts cap room is ridiculous, they had a ton of money even before Luck retired and Lawrence won't enter the draft until 2021.

    Man watching this back after almost a year is pretty heartbreaking. I never legitimately felt emotional pain from any sport, even when losing a district championship back when I played ball, until that day. I’ll never (and never did) hold anything against Andrew because I fully understood his reasoning. I’ll always be a fan of his and, as us true Colts fans, will always love and support his every decision. We miss you Andrew, but will always be rooting for you. Thank you. -Andy

      They gave us two Hall of Fame QB's before, one who is now our GM and the other who had a broken neck but came back even better. They should also give us Andrew Luck so he can win a Super Bowl or two under a team that actually cares about protecting its stars. Fuck Indy. I hope they become the new (now old) Browns and suffer several 0-16 seasons for the way they treated Luck.
