Agree with pretty much all you said!! To me, Infinite World had the mostly better roster, costumes, and cutscenes which are always a favorite……but the whole game and set up and main menu, etc, just came off super cheap and generic . Maybe the time frame they had, but Budokai 3 felt like a much fuller game that had more love to it. Budokai 3! Also leveling up in Budokai 3!
Never played Infinite World because it just did not excite me to own it after playing something as big as Tenkaichi 3. Tho I would rather play this than get Burst Limit which looks even more backwards with the lack of characters and overall content. Even the visuals of Burst Limits don't hold up as well to me as Infinite World and the rest of the Budokai series.
Burst Limit is amazing. Where it lacks in amount of content it makes up for in battle visuals, execution fun factor and camera angles in battle. Never been a DBZ game like Burst Limit since. What we need is the burst limit combat but with expanded content. That would make a great DBZ game. I see Burst Limit as close to Street Fighter as compared to the other DBZ fighting games, which I like a lot since Street Fighter really fine tunes it's combat compared to any other fighter and the spectacle during fights as well.
Picking one over the other has been so tough for me. Budokai 3 has the better story mode imo as I love the rpg mechanics and flying around the world, but Budokai 3 has Dragon Rush which I despise. Infinite World has better feeling combos and more options thanks to dashing, but the AI is dreadful to play against. Also beam clashes and melee clashes were cut too. I could write a novel of how every good change or addition to Iw is accompanied by a negative that B3 didn't have. Such a shame that Infinite World takes so many steps forward but also a few backwards at the same time. I think my ultimate decision is if I am playing alone I prefer B3 but if I am playing with friends it would be IW. Although IW's story mode is worth playing through at least once. Not many people like the minigames and stuff in that mode but I enjoyed them a lot. It's just man screw the AI. it gets close to Classic Mortal Kombat bad. There is a Budokai 4 mod in the works for Iw although its mainly competition focused but it does add some new characters and features. Might be worth a look once it's finished.
@raulgarcia5846 It's not bad it's so strong that it feels like it's reading and reacting to your inputs for every button pressed with the right answer each time.

Thanks for the video! I was wondering which of the two to play and decided to go for Infinite World this time.

Some of these are my thoughts as well. Maybe I'll check out the mod in the future.
How is the AI bad? Like hard or just dumb?
