- This video is purely about how I got my Hermès Kelly Mini II (K20) and how much I spend for it. I didn’t get it from FSH and also wasn’t „just offered“ one because I asked nicely. I had to build my profile, do everything I could, and wait. But most importantly, you want to know how much I pre-spend and how much the bag cost me..
My pre-spending was in line with what I heard from other happy K20 owners, which is around 1:2, and the actual Kelly Mini II cost me $8550 before tax in 2020, which is probably less than people think. But then again, getting the offer is the harder thing because spending alone will not be enough.

I do agree “ building the relationship with SA“ is the main point.Last January my first SA left the brand and she recommended me my current SA after that I shopped with him every month for building my records but not big amounts. In April he offered me b25 shadow I was not knowing birkin shadow before it was distinguished! In June he won the drawing with his college he gave me special order OMG!!! I’m so grateful he is my H fairy 😍

I really agree that everyone’s experience is unique and no two are alike. Your mini kelly is adorable!!! I’ve seen the epsom version and they are stiff, goatskin is so soft and fun to use! I think we all spend so much money at Chanel at Louis Vuitton and don’t think about it. There is such an emphasis on spend with Hermes.

I think u mean ur spend was 2:1? 2times the amount of the bag. I’m in Canada and my first quota bag was a mini Kelly. My spend was about 2.5:1. We have only 4 boutiques in all of Canada so our stock is very low :( we only get one quota bag per year here, if that.

Wow, congratulations on the Mini Kelly. Thank you for sharing all this info about your purchases. Not many Ytber do this. I do wonder about what you say your purchase history 2:1 ratio (I assume $17K), was that since beginning of your journey on November 2020, or after April 2021 which was when you got your Birkin. Just wondering because I only see one Hermes unboxing video so far after April 2021 on your channel, which was that "10 unboxing Hermes item" video.
I was told the pre-spending resets after you get your quota bag. So you basically start from zero again. But of course, there are exceptions and SAs can give you wiggle room every now and then.
Super helpful! So if we are taking the slow and steady road we would build up our relationship incrementally over time and then, anywhere from a few months to a year before you are ready to get your quota bag, start your wishlist, keep steadily buying and wait? Does the spend before starting your wishlist count toward prespend? Thanks in advance!

I managed to score a mini kelly in Rose Confetti in Paris in April. I did have a spend history in Paris, but not 1:1. I had a fabulous SA and think I was pretty lucky 😊 your mini is stunning 💕

It is not always about Pre Spending! It is about the relationship overall! Many of my friends did not spend like you to get mini Kelly. Lucky me I feel nothing about this pale Rose Sakura and PHW. So boring! unfinished color alike !

Dear, I'm not seeing any criticism. You just left a bitter comment, and you can do so just like everybody else is entitled to freely leave their opinions here as well. It's not about political correctness but about common courtesy and how you interact with others in society.
If you watched the video you probably realised that I mentioned at least twice that it's not all about pre-spending but that more factors are relevant. So you're not criticising but merely repeating what was said in the video. Fine with me, and good for your friends to be offered a K20 with less pre-spending than me. I wasn't aware that this is a competition though.
It's ok that you're not too hot about rose sakura and if you don't like the color or finish of the bag I guess you'd have to take that up with Hermès. I'm sure they will be able to offer you plenty of other colors and finishes if you're a valued customer.
