Congrats 🎉🍾. Pretty blue color. The price for the Kelly retourne seems to be a lot cheaper in France than in US. In US I believe it’s currently priced @ $10.2k. I would buy it for $8k in a heart beat. When I bought the mini Lindy touch recently that was over $10k. But, it’s so darned cute and super versatile. I love it!! My dream bag would either be K25 and the mini Kelly 2 in lizard skin. Hoping to score either one this year. My SA said K25 is promising but the mini is very difficult to come by though :(. Thank you for all your tips. Too bad I’m not going to Paris anytime soon. Love Paris.

I’m in France now and saw how Paris crime has gone up 25%. I wanted to tell you your Chanel ave Montaigne tips were great. I was able to go to the boutique when they opened and got what I wanted. Sunnies and a pair of their sling back heels. The selection was great. Keep up the great vlogs and videos. I found you recently before my Paris trip and have subscribed. ❤️

You are lucky! When I was there during Fashion Week I wasn’t offered a Kelly. But I did buy an adorable mini Bolide in gold and a Mauve Sylvestre Evelyne lll pm.
They were okay for my first purchases in Paris, although I’ve bought many HERMES bags here in the states. Your videos make me want to be in Paris again!

Thank you! And yes they are much better priced when you can buy them retail. Second hand stores or resellers charge sometimes 3 times even 4 times the price (especially for the mini Kellys and Kelly 25s) ❤️

To talk about the way you should be dressed or not, I think definitely choose an outfit you feel comfortable in, not very very casual like track pants of course 😂 but a nice outfit that shows your personal style and tastes.
I think it helps if you wear a bit of Hermès too.
However, I do think it’s all about the rapport you build with the SA you meet. I’m pretty sure that sales advisors prefer a client with not that much of Hermès on him (or impressive purchase history) but, like you, very polite, smiley with knowledges ; than a client wearing Hermès head to toe having a haughty or not particularly pleasant behavior !

I just don’t get the price tag for these bags. 🤷🏻♀️ It is pretty but for the money, I don’t see it. Maybe it is a status thing but I don’t get that either. I love designer handbags but there is a limit on what I think is appropriate for something that is just an accessory. Even if I could, I wouldn’t. I certainly don’t need a handbag to make me feel like I’m important.

@@KittenKake I think it's just knowing that the money could have been spent helping other people rather than herself. She could have given that money to charities and helping those less fortunate, or putting that money into savings for when she needs to pay for something major like funeral expenses for loved ones or putting a child through college. I don't make a lot, but at least I give what I can to the community and those who need help. If she's happy, cool. I would have just used that money more wisely

It's Evercolor leather! Very similar to Togo but with a smaller grain (it almost looks like Swift from afar but it's more robust and holds it's shape similar to Togo, it's not delicate) and it doesn't have veining the way Togo often does

Congratulations! I love the shade of blue you got! I have a question for you though: how many attempts has it taken to get your Birkin and Kelly bags altogether? I’m debating starting my Hermes journey and I’m nervous to get started!
I have a very long answer haha. In Paris, this was my 2nd appointment (my 1st one was last year in the fall and they said no bags were available at that appointment which was disappointing). The only thing I ever purchased in France was a twilly (€160) and it wasn't even in Paris, it was in another city Lyon. So technically you don't need any purchase history or to buy other items to be offered a Birkin or Kelly. When I came back to Paris this time, I applied online for an appointment my first day, I didn't get chosen (it's through a lottery system so thousands apply daily and only a few are chosen for each of the 3 Paris stores each day) and on my 2nd day of applying, I received a confirmation email saying I had received an appointment for the next day (my 3rd day in Paris).
However, with that said, on my first trip last year I was determined to get a Birkin or Kelly and I tried almost every day to get one (and I never got one) and I tried to get an appointment daily, going in often to see if there was cancellations etc. So it was very very difficult on that first trip and it didn't even have a end result of me getting a bag on that trip.
The first trip and all those attempts made last year had no affect on this next trip when I eventually received this Kelly as the SA and Hermes had no idea of my experience on my first trip.
At the Hermes in the city I live in, it took me about 4 years until I was offered my first Birkin. However I only made purchases the first year and after that I had given up. 4 years in I went back and asked again and then a few months later I was offered the Birkin. Would you be able to do a Vlog on pre-loved luxury boutiques in Paris? It seems like a lot of the ppl you interviewed were wearing vintage and I am wondering where they shop!
I love this idea and it's actually a video idea I have written and planned out to create. I just left Paris (although I still have a few luxury shopping vlogs coming, such as the original 31 Cambon Chanel, Dior, Hermes) and then when I come back to Paris I will 100% film this pre-loved/vintage shops in Paris video. Until then, I am planning on visiting and sharing pre-loved boutiques in other cities 🥳

It’s Evercolor! I’m sure you have Evercolor? It’s similar to Togo in the sturdiness of it but with a smaller grain and no veining but from a small distance it looks like it could be Swift

Congrats! By the way, when purchasing in Paris, would you be in their system if you have purchased items in other places in France or other European countries?
Hey! No, you have to create a French Hermes profile, but if you purchase from Hermes anywhere in France then they can see your spending history, for example I purchased 1 twilly in a different city in Lyon in France and it was the only thing I had purchased in France and the Paris stores were able to see that but not able to see any of my spending history in Canada or the US. There has been talk about Hermes FSH being able to see your purchase history in other countries but they have not implemented/started that yet. It may happen soon though. Hope that helps 🧡
