Something I've just noticed is that Verdict Day's OST is strangely uplifting and determined while taking place in a desolate war-torn world. From Dirty Worker to New Cosmos and even the ending of the New Mechanized Memories remix, almost like the game is telling the player that times might be rough but it is up to you to keep going and make it better. Come to think of it, that fits Armored Core as a whole doesn't it? Rising up no matter what and taking flight to reach better horizons.
that theme has been around with armored core in every game "things are bad right now, so you gotta continue to see good happen" just feels more present in Verdict Day it seems

I loved thinking of this song as a form of goodbye to the series. It's a remix of a beloved song from the past game, that plays for the last boss of the last entry in the series - the clone of a friend-turned-foe from the previous game, and has that bittersweet, yet hopeful feel to it. I'm glad that's not the case anymore.
I imagine an actual finale for AC to feature an actual character for our AC pilot. This theme is just them looking up into the bright blue sky awaiting his end. Yet, he could feel his world truly free now from the cycle of war.
I wonder what these pilots for AC6 will be renowned for. We had the natural beasts of old, the living weapons of 4, and the remnants I guess of 5... (I'm a newbie, but I hope it's a cool name for new pilots like myself to take a liking to!)

To me it gives the: "we're in the space, it's the final battle, both mechs running down on energy, every weapon broken down, punching each other to the last standing" (toootally not a gurren lagann referece)
I picture it as the small and perhaps last respite our character has in the face of the cruel world. The might of the human military is coming down on him, and you know what? He cares not. His time was spent well, and he will keep fighting with what's left. In hopes, that one day they can put all this violence behind them and move forward in life. To new, better cosmos.

Armored Core will always be the coolest universe FromSoft have created. i’ve never felt as if i was the Ashen One, Hunter, or Tarnished, but i can say with certainty that i’m a Raven/LYNX through and through. the cockpit will always be my home
I found this series through it's music.. by the time I found the series I wasn't able to find any of the games due to them being out of print... but I know one thing after spending hours watching gameplay and listening to the soundtracks, I'm getting AC6 when it comes out!!

Listen up, I know we're all Hype as f***, but I hope when the game actually released Ravens and LYNXes can play together with peace. After all AC4:For Answer plays very differently from previous entries. And if you're like me who have been through all these years before the rise of "Souls Fromsoft", I feel you. Japanese Games are coming back hard this year, RE2, ace combat 7, Left alive, kingdom heart 3. Lets hope for an announcement this year next , but imo we need to support (front mission) Left alive and Ace Combat cos they are both technicaly a niche title but if they succed we might have a chance of getting armored core 6 in pc just like ace combat 7

@@maeviu-twich6280 Fall is a bit too closely connected to the context of the one mission it plays in, and overall just sounds more like a battle theme than anything else. It’s more suited to being an insert song that plays during an important fight scene than an opening or ending song.

The only way to see the hope and light - is to stay alive and fight. I don't know why, but when I hear this music - I imagine this quote. It wasn't used anywhere in the franchise. It just feels like it should be. Because every game you experience in this franchise - you have to survive and keep moving forward.
call me weird, but I like gen5 AC's design, I like mech design that is humanoid but is also not humanoid as the same time. One head, two arms, two legs, upright bipedal but with a twist. Seeing gen5 nearly non-existent lower body awaken my thirst for mechs like gen5's AC but with no LOWER BODY at all
I've only Discovered Armored Core Franchise About 1 Month Ago, But all I Know About it Now is That Most Of the Design looks like if The Zaku's from Gundam become BASED Design for all of Mechs, And that's Just Awesome 😎

I still believe that the last boss from Armored Core Veredict Day is a twisted version of white glint..ac4a never actually said either white glint was dead or alive...all it says is "White Glint has been DISABLED" not destroyed
@@redglint6451 you are partially right, the last boss (N-WGIX/v) is essential a cannibalised white glint that has been made to work again with ACV era tech. Thats why during the fight it is constantly leaking kojima particles and why it has assault armor.

This is the sort of spirit I was really looking forward to seeing in ACVI's OST. Admittedly, it is not by any means a bad soundtrack, and we did certainly get some real bangers (WE MAKIN IT OUTTA STARGAZER ROUGH AND DECENTLY OUTTA THIS RUSTED PRIDE!!) But... I don't know, man. It was just a little underwhelming. I was hoping we'd get this sort of vocal track in the final bosses...

Listen up, I know we're all Hype as f***, but I hope when the game actually released Ravens and LYNXes can play together with peace. After all AC4:For Answer plays very differently from previous entries.
And if you're like me who have been through all these years before the rise of "Souls Fromsoft", I feel you. I can't wait to listen AC6 garage BGM for hundreds of hours just like the old days.

Actually really really hyped. I was frankly starting to give up hope that armored core 6 would ever be a thing.
Man, I hope one of the new titles being developed by From Software is a new AC. For the love of god, please be a new AC.
Japanese Games are coming back hard this year, RE2, ace combat 7, Left alive, kingdom heart 3.
Lets hope for an announcement this year next , but imo we need to support (front mission) Left alive and Ace Combat cos they are both technicaly a niche title but if they succed we might have a chance of getting armored core 6 in pc just like ace combat 7
From what i've seen fromsoftware is going to make a mech game at switch, it's quite similar to ac5 at first glance.

Sounds more like an Ending theme for an episode
Then Fall should be the opening
@@maeviu-twich6280 Fall is a bit too closely connected to the context of the one mission it plays in, and overall just sounds more like a battle theme than anything else. It’s more suited to being an insert song that plays during an important fight scene than an opening or ending song.
In the Universe or Takes Me Anywhere would probably work better as an opening theme.

I don't know why, but when I hear this music - I imagine this quote. It wasn't used anywhere in the franchise. It just feels like it should be.
Because every game you experience in this franchise - you have to survive and keep moving forward.
call me weird, but I like gen5 AC's design, I like mech design that is humanoid but is also not humanoid as the same time. One head, two arms, two legs, upright bipedal but with a twist. Seeing gen5 nearly non-existent lower body awaken my thirst for mechs like gen5's AC but with no LOWER BODY at all

Not sure if you knew but in the sign up for Elden Ring's network test AC V is mentioned, keep your hopes up.

I still believe that the last boss from Armored Core Veredict Day is a twisted version of white glint..ac4a never actually said either white glint was dead or alive...all it says is "White Glint has been DISABLED" not destroyed
@@redglint6451 you are partially right, the last boss (N-WGIX/v) is essential a cannibalised white glint that has been made to work again with ACV era tech. Thats why during the fight it is constantly leaking kojima particles and why it has assault armor.

This is the sort of spirit I was really looking forward to seeing in ACVI's OST. Admittedly, it is not by any means a bad soundtrack, and we did certainly get some real bangers
