- I finally found a studio version, or at least VERY close, of Below My Feet! I looked for it everywhere on youtube and couldn't find it. So I thought I'd share it with you! Enjoy!!
I know the song isn't a complete studio version, but it's very close. And I believe this is the best quality you'll find for this song, for now. I put the "studio" in the title so you can easily find this video.
some bands have like 3 or 4 good songs, but all of Mumford and Sons song are amazing
Them and the National are the most consistent bands of our time
Logan Bergh
Try Shovels&Rope or The Lone Below ,,,, Also great music.
Logan Bergh Thats not true, you just dont listen to more than 3 or 4 song of other bands apparently
So true!
Logan Bergh truest thing I've ever heard. I was literally just thinking that on my drive home from work letting every song autoplay
210 people liked it so much they turned their phones upside down and liked it again
You. I like you. Or at least the way you think.
best
😂🤗
I remember when their music had 30,000 views. I'm glad they made it big but we lost TheFyersmuck's input in all these comments now
Why can't more music be like this?
They are so talented. The lyrics, rhythm, and the beautiful instruments are perfectly put together.
CarlyV25 I agree but if that where the way then there would be nothing special about this
@@damianhidalgo5164 wa? 😂
this song seriously gave me goose bumps...its just that good
me to
"Keep the earth below my feet
For all my sweat, my blood runs weak
I wish I learned from what I had seen
Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn
Keep my eyes to serve and hands to learn"
This song..... ive heard it about 10 times since i got home, i am still speechless.... Its remarkable ,it just doesn't get old. The lyrics, the music, the emotion... its just perfect, like all of their songs.
Think this might be one of my absolute favourites of theirs (this and Dust Bowl Dance). Just beautiful!
That magical third chorus
127 people are deaf. No arguments.
Not even. Blind people could feel the solid vibrations. They're just unhappy people in general most likely
William Bishop what do you mean by that? What does that have to do with anything? I know plenty of deaf people that LOVE music?
I actually really like this version thanks for sharing!
I want it to be summer, sat in a field with some mates, ciders cold, music playing, and the sun on my back.
I love this band so much. They speak the language of my mind!
I can never get tired of Mumford and Sons, they are definitely my all time favorite band. And judging by these comments Tom Hiddleston must have said something about Below My Feet? I'm really happy he did, it exposes tons of people to a great song and an even better band.
I think what my friend Fryersmuck is trying to describe is beauty. From the new baked aroma of pie, to the tune of Mumford and Sons. No difference from the delicious feel you receive. Shriveling our lips to the sweet taste. Raising our ears to the gentle but great tune. Searching for the perch to admire. As well as to eat these pies, fuck I'm hungry.
I love the way he said "I WISH I LEARNED FROM WHAT I HAVE SEEN " just prefect
I was told by Jesus all was well
Babel is breathtaking. Mumford and Sons are a once in a generation talent. This song stands out above the rest.
Respect.
I didnt think I could have a favourite song by mumford and sons because they are all so good! But when I heard this one I just KNEW this was it
KEEP THE EARTH . . .
Keep,
My eye's to serve. My hand's to learn!
+Heavenkept KEEP THE EARTH BELOOOW MY FEET, FOR ALLL MY SWEEAT MY BLOOD RUNS WEAK!
i love them , cause they have amazing voice , great songs , they are the best , really !!!
You are right. I'm a Yank but I am proud of my rich English heritage while listening to these lads.
You sir, deserve a medal.
what a great song and great rythem one of my new fav bands in the last 2yrs, keep it rocken boys a huge fan from NJ.......
Incredible song, these guys are so talented. I love their older stuff, it is so unique and emotional.
This is one of my favorite songs. I still can't believe I'm seeing them in 9 days! I don't think I've ever been more excited for anything in my life.
TheFryersmuck is sooooo awesome is because he's not afraid to say what he's thinking and what he says strikes home for everyone that reads it! and it's so beautiful that everyone drops what they're doing and just listens to it
Dis-I-Like
hey i see what you did there, with the dislike it so and-yeeeees
I know not a lot of people know this, but as a Muslim, I love Jesus too
This song is my life in a pair of headphones :)
If I could like this comment more than once I would like it as many times as there are stars.
Not Studio but Live version.. But no way, big and warm version...
I press the play button, sit back, close my eyes and let the music take me away.
Mumford and Sons is an amazing band. Every song I hear by them just puts me in awe. They have a interesting use of instruments, meaningful lyrics, a soothing sound, and an incredible voice. They are just amazing. I would love to be able to go to one of their concerts to see them live.
Seriously, they NEVER get old. I don't think it's possible to get sick of their songs no matter how many times you listen to them. It's beautiful ♥
this makes me so emotional
guys, we have the best music taste ever!
I am new to this band too and it is already by far my new favorite band! I love their energy and passion for singing. Awesome band!
137 people are deaf. No arguments.
Justyn Szklaruk 229*
135 are belibers .....
Wrong, they are demons from hell- wait, same thing. Sorry 'bout that.
William Bishop Lol
😂😂
this verison always makes me teary,, They are amazing. So jealous of anyone who's seen them live,
mumford and sons is an amazing band, in my opinion they have redefined modern popular music. me and my friend covered this song, check it out if you would like!!
Jesus....
Heating companies do utilize something similar to what you are describing called geothermal heating which originates from the heat retained within the Earth since the original formation of the planet, from radioactive decay of minerals, and from solar energy absorbed at the surface.
It currently makes up 0.07% of global primary energy consumption, and heating companies do want you to know about it. (Science 4, Crazy 0)
While the practice of Igloo building is still in use when hunting in the high Arctic The Inuit have abandoned the use of Igloos as their primary places of dwelling. (Social Studies 1, Crazy 0)
Also they are Inuit not that E word. The E word is as offensive to the Inuit as the N word is to Affricans. I sugest you don't use it again you racist. (Racial Sensitivity 0, Crazy 1)
Hey good job getting a point in there in the end.
I don't know about his religious status, but I do know that this isn't the first time Christianity is mentioned in a song's lyrics. The last two lines of the first verse of White Blank Page read:
"And can you kneel before the king,
And say I'm clean, I'm clean."
Remember: the guys draw their lyrics from a vast amount of places, many of them literary; The Cave was largely inspired by Plato's "Allegory of the Cave."
It could be a comment on his faith, or just another line in the song.
However if you should manage to open a hole the size of a large drill bit (gauge Z 10.49 mm)
The hole would be too small for the plastic flowing rock of the mantle to make it to the surface. The molten rock would crystallize within the crust or mantle to form a pluton.(Science 3, Crazy 0)
Alright, that's all the youtube debate/conversation I'm up for. Inevitably some douche will come along and accuse me of being a "fucktard" or something for holding such opinions of M&S, so I'm going to go ahead and delete my comments now...
Can't get enough of them..... they're really awesome
Look at how good they are.
So much goodness right here.
(The)Fryersmuck is a lad who comments on almost all Mumford and Sons videos, quite funny and interesting, that is. There's the reason he's popular, he is who he is, and that's a good lad.
I'm very careful about the lyrics and musicians that I pump into my ears. So I ask...
Okay I guess I will just have to hope that they are not against the virtues of the Lord.
Makes me remember of the good times. :)
Hey, we loved this song so much we decided to do a full recording cover of it, we'd love for you to check it out! Click on our name to see it on the channel front page!
I'm getting paid to make a mix of this and Benny Benassi - Cinema (Skrillex Remix). I don't even get this haha they're two different BPM's and one is EDM. Oh well.
I couldn't post the link, but if you google: "Chicago now, are Mumford & Sons Christian?" it should be the first option. They input a lot of spiritual overtones into their work, and their music seems to be inspired from spirituality.
As for your question "are they Christian?" - each individual of the band has their own personal view, as for the lead singer, he says, and I quote, "faith is something beautiful".
Still - its a heck of a lot better than the music now-a-days. That's for sure!
Listening to him, he is a gifted husk that is slowly losing its substance as it burns out. He knows it to...
"We tried so hard to live in the truth But do not tell me all is fine"
It's too bad the spiritually gifted person was raised to think Platonic idealism is the Truth. He will burn out. And I am sure all of you fans will have sorrow in your hearts for him. Fans are some of the most loveless creatures.

Jesus said all is well before he was murdered while expecting to be tortured and murdered. The sick quiver in Marcus's voice shows that he is mocking Christ's statement as an expression of laughable indifference, even cruelty. He doesn't understand the irony in Christ's statement or the fact that he is among the mockers. He feels justified in bitterly mocking... But accepting the opportunity to spit on Christ, probably not a good idea...
boy: Will you ever leave me? girl: No, never
One day, she is gone with his heart. In his pain, he goes to a church, there stands:
"And I tell you ask and it will be given to you. seek and you will find. knock and it will be opened to you."
And the boy leaves the church, his heart light as a feather. this evening the girl calls the boy.
girl: I am sorry
boy: jesus opened the door, before I knew i was knocking. I will be allright without you, Jesus loves me more than you could ever do.
I don't believe they're christian but Marcus's parents are certainly, they're the national directors of the Vineyard church movement in the UK so it would be safe to assume that he was brought up in a church background. This might explain a lot of the christian references in their songs..
I also feel like a lot of their lyrics are a rejection of this upbringing, like I always feel like Roll Away My Stone is addressed to his parents?
But whatever the influences, AMAZING music and fantastic song.
Jesus said, all is well and in what respect did he say it? Before you have your skin torn apart and your body stuck to a piece of wood, I wonder if he realizes the spite in his voice is like a angry child. The sick quaver in his voice says it all... Someone doesn't understand irony, which is ironic... For someone as clever as he thinks he is, he seems to have a peculiar lack of understanding.
Their first album was ridiculously Christian, and by Christian I mean what Christianity was actually all about, you know, disinterested love and goodness and beauty and truth, and not the camp title of "Christian" that is so blatantly abused all over the place today.
I imagine that, despite the early church's aversion to musical instruments, God really likes this song. Maybe that's just because He's especially fond of the authors. Like he is especially fond of everyone.
Love the song... the mention of Jesus is kind of weird. I have no problems with the lyric or the song, it's just that it's sort of jarring when they are not a very religious band.
Kind of makes me wonder what would happen if they did that on their first album.
"I will hold on JESUS"
"Roll away your JESUS I'll roll away mine."
Again, I love the song- the line is just kind of strange in a secular-sounding song. That's just my opinion- I'm not trying to offend people, and if I did I'm sorry.
For those wondering what The Fryersmuck's Comment was,
"The night before last I dreamt I was up on stage with Marcus and his adopted sons. I have no musical skill whatsoever so Marcus hired me as a breakdancer.I was moonwalking and bodypopping so wildly the medics were called because they thought I was having a heart attack. After the show Marcus and his sons told me I was a little bit too uptempo for them, but fair play to them they each gave me a tin of baked beans."
i honestly hope to go for all the fans that there new album doesn't have just all these songs weve heard so many times on youtube like home nothing is written and below my feet lovers eyes to darkness and ghosts that we knew. im fine with some. i love them but i hope they give us some unheard things because it would be really sad if we had only the songs we've heard on the the new album. still love this band
@blobbob7586 I dunno man, I'm less inclined to believe it. Anybody can say any shit on youtube that isnt true and it looks like a pretty professionally done and planned photo. Also- where dem blackberries eh? Nobodys got a container, or even their hands full- so it cant be a candid shot. And any english person who's had experience in picking blackberries would know you'd never put your hands back in your pockets after touching blackberries- they're notorious stainers.
Offical I knew Fryers really well and agree his comments were great and he was amazing!!! He let that nic go and there was a gap and he came back on UA-cam last year with a very similar nic, couldnt take the old one back. I have searched my back comments etc and cant find it!!! Aint it maddening when yer cant find something lol!!!
"It's just another way of looking at a problem, to hopefully see that the problem was the solution all along. Who gets the most benefit when using a mirror.. the person looking in, or the person looking out?" - TheFryersmuck, an unlikely friend and a light in the dark. Wherever you are, you have taught me to keep the earth below my feet.
In the dark I am alone.
In the light I am shown
Together we can go,
to a place unknown.
We'll go so fast to a place.
There is no finish line,
this is not a race.
Now all we have to do is erase.
Now are you amazed?
Together we're in grace.
There's not a tear on your face.
There's not a single trace,
of blood.
Not a single soul to chase,
it's good.
@Dreadmore some people have creativity bursting out their bodies like the bodily fluids bursted out of my 89 year old, incontinent, grandmother (may she rest in peace).
some people are creative through music, some paint pictures - some some with colors, some with words - but they all paint a smile onto our faces with their art. we should let them do that.
There's no need for the Studio version.. those REAL good bands are live just as good or even better than their studio versions. but in these times, there aren't many bands who can handle this..
But Mumford and Sons are just absolutely amazing. live as well as in the studio.

If you all like mumford and sons, you should all take a look at a band called 'The Portlands' they are from manchester, i went watching them at the academy last year They are absoloutly amazing, blew my mind! You can find them on facebook! Folk Rock 'n' Roll!!! Peace!
There are programs you can apply in mastering that will give the 'human effect' and what that does is it doesn't tune things exactly and keeps the levels at a place where they aren't too perfect, just like in a live show.
Just to let you know 'whatAsickNAME'
@TheFryersmuck Been seeing you around on the Mumford and Sons videos... I must say this is one of the best comments I've seen yet. Thank you for your rather strange, bizarre, hilarious, intruiging comments. You're slowly becoming a ledgend to Mumford and Sons fans :D
that cymbal is in fact a mini hadron collider, smashing molecules of nothingness into atoms of universal goodness and stomping higgs bosons
If you like Marcus and the lads. You might enjoy my musical pieces! I would greatly appreciate it if you stopped by and took a listen!
what a alsome new band that i would love to see live, if anyone knows when there comming up to NJ/NYC area please tell me because there going to be atop of the charts for awhile i love there rythem keep it boys a huge fan from NJ,,,,mk
What I don't get it here is a studio version meaning very little is done to the track...and there's even a point where the N is emphasized. I've tried over and over to try to hear the word serve and it just doesn't stick out at all to me.
Huh? Jesus said "All is well" because he knew that he was dying for a reason and that he would get a new body. The rest of the song "Keep my hands to serve" etc is a clear indication that he is not mocking Jesus! Context my friend, context ;)
Not "You've Got to Hide Your Love Away." I know this is on Babel. It's the second to last track. They do have a cover of Simon and Garfunkel's "The Boxer" on the deluxe edition, but outside SNL, I've never heard them cover anything by The Beatles.
yes at least two are Christians they went to my old church n I knew them playing round our campfires on the beach a yr before they hit big time, they're great blokes with lovely families I know WInstons parents n they're wonderful
No they are not all Christian strictly, but the songs that they write are from Christian perspective and contain biblical references. I'm Atheist but I still enjoy the music, unusual, most folk musicians rejoice happiness without a god.
I was reading an article about their Gentlemen of the Road tour in the US and apparently at one of the stopovers they announced that the album was gonna be released on September 24th and the first track on it was gonna be "Below My Feet"
Oh is that so..
I will listen some more to their songs and see if I too pick up what you are saying. Thanks for the information :)
Lol, you have been converted. The transition from music to Mumford & Sons is a difficult one. Its all worth it in the end though!
This is live, i heard someone whistle and someone shout ?? beautiful song though :)
@TheFryersmuck i am now proud to have Reggie as one of my nicknames ^_^
sounds like (from my perspective) that he's asking God to keep him alive (keep the earth below my feet) and to keep him doing good in the world (eyes to serve, hands to learn). idk that's just what i get out of it.
I've been waiting for a new album from M&S since Sigh No More came out. It's finally almost here! I've had it preordered since the day the preorder became available. I am so stoked. This is gonna be a tough 8 days. :)
hahaha...i swear im not that stupid...it was early in the morning when i responded...thats my story and im sticking to it!!! *politely removes foot from mouth, and exits the conversation somewhat gracefully*
don't give up on the song after 26 seconds...you have to listen for about 27 seconds, and then words you will have...at this point, i have now taken more time to respond to you than you took to listen to the song...
@TheFryersmuck you are my idol and i don't care what anyone else says, you have the soul of an angel and i salute you! keep being unique and don't listen to any crap anyone gives you ever! i love your sayings and poems!
I think it's just a simple example of what people do for love. The only reason she stays out in the cold is so that she may see the man she loves. Her favourite song, this, is just another pure way of expressing her feelings.
I feel like there's some bored troll going through every single Mumford and Sons video and hitting dislike. Because there's always at least one thumbs down. And it's baffling every time how it even got there.
Haha, I read the first top comment and was like 'who the hell is Tom?'' Then I read the second one. I don't even follow Tom Hiddleston's twitter, but now I know what he posted 2 weeks ago I:
it moves upwards not that it really zooms. LOL but thanks to this comment I stayed starring at the video to see if it really did zoom out. Funny how one comment makes us do the stupidest things...LMAO.
The tracklist for the new album bothers me. Not that i`m not going to buy it but there are only 5 songs i don`t know on it. And thats not much on an 12 track album. No i hate youtube, dammit
its ghosts that WE knew, and you can find Holland Road that is known as Home on youtube. then there's Hopeless Wanderer, Broken Crown and Reminder (named My Love Don't Fade Away on youtube)
@Airbear12321 LOL i know, pop music vids attract the oddest people it seems =P good to know there's still people who want to live happily, and music like this brings them together! ^_^ cheers!
@TheFryersmuck good sir, please keep commenting: it heartens me to learn there are still quick witted folks out there armed with keyboards to spread cheer through the briny seas of the internets. huzzah!
