God rescued righteous Lot, greatly distressed by the sensual conduct of the wicked for as that righteous man lived among them day after day, he was tormenting his righteous soul over their lawless deeds that he saw and heard 2 Peter 2 . the angels urged Lot, ... anyone you have in the city, bring them out But Lot lingered. So the angels seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the Lord being merciful to him, and they brought him out Genesis 19
Ah, another brilliant song from a brilliant band. I miss the days when people could walk up the streets without a care in the world; free to love any apple or pear they wish. Oh but how times have changed.
My choir and I went to our state music competition. This was our final of 7 songs and we got a 7 and a half minute standing ovation. I'm willing to bet 5 of those minutes was just for this song alone.
+hillary clark wanna know what does that for me? The nights by avicii it just speaks a message to you that just makes you wanna get out and do something crazy
this song reminds me of when i was little i was a wise kid who was tramatized by freaky friday and wished every birthday for me to always be me and not anyone else. i just see a bigger meaning in it now
my uncle always had these awesome sideburns that he had for as long as i can remember, but he recently grew them out into a full blown beard. he looks like he should be part of the band!
Right?! It is so funny that people don't pay attention to anything that each member of the band says when interviewed about their lyrics and referring to religion. What I have heard them say when asked is they approach religion in more of a sarcastic way, than actually expressing their feelings, or writing songs about religion. But, people hear the word, name, Jesus, and instantaneously it's "Oh, this song is about God and religion and everything in the world is going to be alright, as long as we believe." I'm not saying anything bad about religion(s), just maybe sometimes things like this should be looked at with an open mind before jumping on the 'Captain Obvious' bandwagon.
Because the crazy nut "christian" people will persecute them for being young. or else they will have to be role models. i'll have the lord to fall back on when i die, idk about ya'll
PS- when they were on SNL, i thought the keyboard player was Charlie Kelly LMAO "day man!! ahhh ahhh ahhh! fighter of the night man!" :) but seriously tho, i love this song!
He sounds angry at his Christianity roots. His music is beautiful but his lyrics sometimes make me a little uncomfortable or kind of question to exactly what he's referring to anyway.
+seanbucke they just don't want to be known as a Christian band. They still want to spread the message that the bible says but they didn't want a Christian label
Jesus Christ, I finally found it, I had no idea what this song was or any of the lyrics but I finally found it!

Yassss
I don't understand how these men have such a way with words. Definitely one of my favorite bands.
Ah, another brilliant song from a brilliant band. I miss the days when people could walk up the streets without a care in the world; free to love any apple or pear they wish. Oh but how times have changed.
"Now I sleep, sleep the hours that I can't weep" I feel that line far too well
this song speaks of working for all to be well. Jesus was thinking about the future of this man on earth
I still love the composition of this song. So pure. So raw.
My choir and I went to our state music competition. This was our final of 7 songs and we got a 7 and a half minute standing ovation. I'm willing to bet 5 of those minutes was just for this song alone.

so lucky!!! my mom is going in 3 days
If somehow buying more than one cd could allow me to fully soak in the beauty, talent, grace, and magnificence of this band, I would be broke.
Their music continues to blow my mind. They never cease to amaze me =)

Feet grounded, hands flapping like mad. Corner awareness and humility

But I was told by Jesus all was well, so all must be well. Amen.
Religious people in a nutshell.

Andrea la llorona well what a fine job he did with all the pain and blood shed in his name even though it's not his real name lol
No offence sorry to sound rude
their lyrics are incredible !!!!!!!
Amen. Look up and not down!. That's what they are saying. The Devil dwells in the depths of hell and the depths of depraved minds.
Best song ever made in the universe
These guys are on the money

"Sleep the hours I cant weep..."

I've got the lyric book, the video is correct.
this song sounds extremely familiar, but I can't figure it out...
Day**
my freind ariella danced to this
Oh you thought Ben Lovett was Charlie Kelly. hhaha ok then.
In the vampire diaries Rose turned Katherine who turned Damon/Stefan and when Finn died (who turned rose) his entire line should have died
I agree but they are all kinda hot ;)

8 people have no souls.
to whom it may concern im bobby norman pattison i have a dream too. goggle my name and you can see.
He sounds angry at his Christianity roots. His music is beautiful but his lyrics sometimes make me a little uncomfortable or kind of question to exactly what he's referring to anyway.
Christianity....where do I begin? The world would be a better place without it..and all other cults/religions..now stfu whining and enjoy the music
+seanbucke Well you're enjoying a Christian band, so.... Contradictions at their finest.
+Paladin Yogi just look it up..they are not a Christian band..they just use references..the force is not strong with you!
+seanbucke they just don't want to be known as a Christian band. They still want to spread the message that the bible says but they didn't want a Christian label
And the lead singer apparently states he does believe in God "without doubt" if i heard correctly
SO ALL MUST BE WELL!
