If I recall correctly, the more upright stance part has at least come full circle with Therizinosaurus.

I don't know if I'll be able to buy the game or not, but it's nice to see others play this game and see how creative they could be here.

Fun fact, you can actually hear the jpog carch roar in the middle when the pk carch roars!
Is it just me or does one of the skins for Carcharodontosaurus feel a direct reference to the one in JPOG? Or at least vaguely inspired by it?
Like the red crest and darker body color with slight countershading gives that sorta vibes y'know.

yeah not just you i was literally just thinking to myself when the carchars came up "my favourite is still the one from JPOG T-T" and then boom i got instantly reminded of it
there's also a line across the body that is pretty similar to the JPOG one

I want to see dinosaurs swimming in Evolution 2 so so bad.
I love to see all dinosaurs and creatures doing swimming. If this looks cool, then i hope we see land whales, their descendants of huge whales, including Indohyus, Ambulocetus, Pakicetus, Ambulocetus, Rodhocetus, Maiacetus, and even Georgiacetus.
Yeah im super excited to see what they can do when expanding more and more away from dinosaurs

And this is just the beginninig, this update brings a lot of fundamentals for much more elavorate behaviors, really looking forward for the future of Prehistoric Kingdom!
I think that third Carcharodontosaurus skin is a beautiful nod to JPOG.
I am so excited for this update. The dinosaurs look gorgeous, and I cannot even begin to imagine how much work has gone into updating all of the animals to add swimming. I knew they were working on big changes to the way the animals moved around and navigated their environment, but to see it actually come to life.... Amazing. And I'm excited to see you working in PK again!

For the longest time Spinosaurus has been such a controversial creature to love. But seeing it like this is making it easy again. :)
This is the spino that I would love to see in the Isle! Something that could swim in the rivers and actually be able to attack and chase off the extremely annoying alligators that keep snatching people off the banks. Something that would actually give them a run for there money lol
Not yet an update that has surprised me a lot, but really good progress. The swimming Spinosaurus and everything else shown in the video are something to be truly happy about. I wonder how long this Early Access period of " Prehistoric Kingdom" will last and when I'll see updates with even more astonishing additions.

My favorite media interpretation of the chimeric Spinosaurus. (Yes it's very much up for debate depending on whom you ask)

If the spino had webbed hands and feet, and maybe slightly bigger hand claws, it would be perfect, but those are extreme nitpicks
The Spinosaurus actually does have webbed feet, the hands are not webbed though as it doesn't use them when swimming.

watching you play around with the vegetation painting tool reminds me of when i learned how to make a procedural vegetation blueprint in ue5. that was a weird little dopamine rush. also i really need to get back into this game. haven't been able to play it since probably update 3? every update makes it better and better.

From what I know of spino it doesn't make sense for them to have feeding platforms outside of the water, the tail dragging looks a little strange but I think is possible not 100% they did make it look extremely awkward on land which I feel makes sense but I also feel this dino should be in the water a LOT more than it is in the game

Just wondering if the species will interact at all yet? This has been my dream game for a couple of years. Got the beta a long time ago but I've been through a couple of PC's since then. I may go ahead and buy this early version. I'm getting a bit tired of the same gameplay in JWE2 and the modders haven't updated their behavior mods yet so...just hoping this one fully pulls off what JPOG made us feel.

Hey, is anyone else getting this problem where the game won't update. I installed it on the epic games launcher and set it to automatic update but nothing happened.

2:26 Although research has confirmed that Spinosaurus walked on its feet with its tail suspended in the air like any theropod, I do not know why they would want Spinosaurus to undergo updates from its past.
Research on spinosaurus is never the same between researchers, like how sereno undersized spino and Ibrahim oversizes spino at like 18 tons

There are many well-preserved Spinosaurus skeletons in many museums around the world, such as the Hong Kong Museum in China, the Field Museum and the Nobel Museum in America, the Science Museum and the Exploration Museum in Korea, the Geological Museum in Egypt, and others. The Spinosaurus skeletons are Sobek, mister big, Smaug, and superJaw, and these are some of the names of the Spinosaurus specimens.
@@Dino-channel from what I've seen after looking up some of those it's just a classic museum model based on fragmentary finds, as far as I know there isn't one completely adult specimen or a even mostly preserved one

because it's way too complex for it.
Iv tried so many times to play Pre historic kingdom but I get so overwhelmed, and I find the tutorial to be really really awful and I cant understand how to play.

i have to say, i've gotten kind of bored of the new spino interpretation. but i really like this one, i love how weighty and crocodilian it is, it feels much more like a real animal rather than some eel hybrid monstrosity lol. can always rely on this game for great dinos (and other creatures!) it feels like
this game is unplayable! I just bought it, looks promising, an it did warn of bugs but i was like okay whatever every now and then, pffttt... CRASHES EVERYTIME I PLAY IT within 5 min.
What are your PC's hardware specs?
@@Ozraptor4 like an i7 mid Gen I think. A 4 gg 1500 series GPU (I think) and 16 GB ram. My monster PC is in the shop right now I'm currently on my old one lol
@@lycanlass I suspect it's a DirectX issue with your older GPU.
@@Ozraptor4 probably I thought of that. It's a great office bc but that's the entire reason I saved up a year and a half and upgraded lol. My new pc run a mid Gen i9, 64 GB ram, a 3060 GPU so BIG difference lol. Thank you for your input friend :3
The spinosaurus is phenomenal but for the life of me I don’t understand why they made the tail drag lol
It's so they can make the excuse that because it has short legs the tails probably use as counter balance still, it wouldn't be able to support its weight well, at least on land.
