I also like how the devs have stated that some animals will be better at swimming than others, which honestly adds a whole lot more realism. Can't wait for update 10 coming next year as we have the cave lion (P. spelaea and P. atrox) and another mammal yet to be revealed for the update as well as a new map and modular theme.
I have tested and I confirm, some are better than other at swimming and it's so pleasant to watch
I think it was said somewhere that Megatherium is the mystery animal. Not sure tho.

Ankylosaurus
Allosaurus
Baryonyx
Cave Bear
Megaloceros
@@the_death_phantom533 I don't think that is what they had meant. What I believe they had meant was that Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Megaloceros, and Cave Bear are confirmed to not have been switched or removed by a different species. Not that they are the only ones left coming in EA.
Here was the quote: "Old Roster animals that are safe: Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Allosaurus, Baryonyx, Cave Bear, Megaloceros. That's it."
I do not believe this means that these are the only dinos that have 100% not been replaced like they did with the Nothronychus (replaced by Deinocheirus) etc.

You should make more PK content,the game have a lot of potential for incredible parks,without the limitations of JWE2 the sky is the limit.
Man I can’t belive it’s been almost seven years since this game was announced, either way great to see this game coming along and I really can’t wait, it has all the things I love from planet zoo, jurrassic world evolution and more! Easily my most anticipated upcoming game
I remember when the major dinosaur gamers of the time covered PK for the first time. I watched Bestinslot video for the information first and went and laughed through Beaver’s video of the game. I can’t remember if Poet did a video or not when it first announced.
According to the update post, Muttaburrasaurus is missing the Nigel voicelines, and will recieve them when they do their next recording session with Nigel.
They knew Muttaburrasaurus would be less cared for.
The Mutta is underrated 😔
It's interesting & fun seeing the normally awkward-looking Spino suddenly become menacing in the water while other dinosaurs just struggle
The funny thing is, the Spinosaurus was more or less accurate to what was thought that it looked like at the time Jurassic Park 3 was made.
How do we even know what something looked like just by seeing bones ??

Whenever this game is finished it might be the best dino park game on the market. Now if only it could speed up development.
the front part of the body of sauropods always pulls down, and the back, on the contrary, up, so no matter how deep it is, it has to scrape the bottom with its front paws. As far as I know. I was very impressed by the presence of this detail
This company is super impressive with what they are capable of! I do believe we will be seeing deinosuchus in the near future with this new swimming update

I love the spinos little back feets as it swims so cute. Also I love how the swimming isnt like perfect ai or anything or like a whole animated interaction, its just an animation they go into in the water and its random if they turn or not. I can't tell if that makes it feel realistic or just real or laggy. Love how they added new dinos that go with the update and not random ones. I ADORE the spino though, its awesome and fantastic
Something I think every dino park game needs is like 3 things , Swimming, Babys, and like a vr park walkthrough setting
Very cool update. Surprised they made ouranosaurus bipedal instead of quadrupedal though
The design is incredibly accurate, however, I do wish they had included lips on the model!
Well tbf Spinosaurids and Baryonicids lips are hightly controversial rightnow.
I really love they added Spino,Carcha and ourano wich lived in the same time and place
Ouranosaurus is older than Spino and Carcha, it lived alongside Suchomimus in reality

I got prehistoric kingdom yesterday and the controls were a little complicated ( by little I mean very) and I love it and when I realized there is something called water depth I found my paradise

You should build a beautiful flowering gazebo that overlooks a hadrosaur habitat. Maybe do that for the Muttaburrasaurus or Ouranosaurus. I'd say more Mutta than Ouran, but it could be done for any hadrosaur. But a gazebo covered in Flowers and vines, gazing over a beautifully vegetated field. I really want to do this for my irl minis park, and seeing you do it would inspire me in so many ways, like always. You are my biggest inspiration when doing anything dinosaur related, and you're always playing while I work on the dinosaurs or enclosures.

According to the Steam update page, Nigel's voice clips for the Muttaburrasaurus aren't currently in the game. They'll be implemented into the game next year in a future update.
I do not understand why we dont get this on console! this game is so cool and it's my dream game. Evo do you know any details on if it will ever come to ps5???
They have no plans on bringing it to console. It's a small studio, converting to console is a lot of work, especially for a game like this which is INTENSE.
That's normale it don't come on console, because a tycoon game made entirely for PC gameplay in mind can't be converted to console without remaking the entire game, taking years of reworking stuff.
Devs are too busy at making a strong game as good as possible to think about consoles right know.
It's too much work for an indie team like them.
I really want to see some Marine reptiles pterosaurs and synapses in prehistoric kingdom

Imagine this studio with the budget as Frontier has. The only thing it's lacking in is 1. Graphics. 2. Some polish 3. More animals/dinosaurs. Pretty sure in 2-3 years this game will take the role as the new king of prehistoric park building games, toppling fro...backwardsteir.
Nice to see more creatures added to this game. Although I'm not sure if I'll buy Prehistoric Kingdom in the future, it's cool to see more content and updates added in this game.
I can't wait to see what exhibit ideas you have in mind for these latest creatures added in.

there are no plans for this game to come to console unfortunately
It’ll probably be years before they even consider a console version, especially with how advanced the game is, not to mention it not even being finished.

these are two different cakes of which you go for for different reasons!

They have worked hard all this year and now with this Update 9 out they can prepare themselfs to go to well deserved vacations, just to come back mid January for a new year rich in new updates more focus on deepening the mangagement aspect of the game. With still new animals and still new behavior and more !

People who find your opinion about the T. Rex vs. S. Aegyptiacus fight controversial have forgot that the Spinosaurus is built to hunt in water, and live on land.
The Tyrannosaurus is built to hunt on land, and live on land, so if the battle was on land, then the Tyrannosaurus would definitely win with it's enormous bite force, the Spinosaurus might slash it with it's huge claw, but then like 3 seconds later, Spinosaurus would be dead. Tyrannosaurus wins.

You can make a sino swiming pool where there's a pool for the guests and in that pool is a viewing gallery for guests to see and swim next to the spinos think it woud be cool.

While winning physically, Tyrannosaurus might be scared of Spinosaurus
They probably wouldn’t want to fight anyways. A T. Rex would surely have a risk of loosing an eye or even fracturing its skull in a fight with a Spinosaurus while a Spino could suffer from serious injuries & possibly pass away.

Spino skin names are ancient Egyptian god names. The attention to detail of this game is insane
What I want is a water brush like prehistoric kingdom so that we had bathing in water and swimming like have scenes from jp3 or jwd been recreated. Very light water like a light marsh for all sizes to walk through and drink, medium deep for small dinosaurs to try and swim or not, medium and large to have something deep enough for them to bath in. Large deep, so large dinosaurs can swim, but still not deep enough for the larger sauropods to swim.
I’m getting a gaming laptop for Christmas so I’ll finally be able to play this amazing game (been a console player my whole life lol)

Although I understand why, there isn't much difference other than it's size and slit skull difference.
Evo I made 100+ spinosaurus in a huge lake with one medium sized island it was big enough to house them along with a rare albino one

They just chose not to have C. iguidensis as an alt skin, I mean Dryosaurus also has D. elderae but they just went with D. altus.
