You have to wait for them to go back down to set or it's not gonna happen. Those frogs do yes. Also try a most boss spoon. The hook is very exposed on the back, so you get even better hook sets than hollow bodied frogs, but always lands right side up so you'll never get bogged down. It floats and slides over slop just like the frog.
