Anxiety is an awful thing… however, living in the United States… we have roadway tunnels that go beneath the water, as well as subways that travel underground. Most of our travel systems are underground, or beneath water. I’m glad that you’re learning to conquer your fears!💜 My son suffers from the same disorder, yet at the age of 19, he’s conquered most of them😃
I live in Wisconsin and I always make sure I buy Hot Hands hand warmers when Winter roles around. Very convenient and I guess they're good for keeping camera batteries warm too!
Blimey. I have followed you for a while now but only just discovered that another channel I follow is also yours! "I will always travel for food". Enjoyed your video about food vending machines on that channel, so thank you very much for ALL your channels.
Thk u for the happy memories…Niseko/Sapporo was the last place we visited in Feb 2020 Really miss the skiing, food and especially onsen…love soaking in the outdoor onsen looking at snow clad mountains and reflecting on the struggles and blessing the past year had brought us … than drinking cold sake in our yukata back in the hotel room
Fantastic video Shinichi, I would have never guessed you lost footage you did an amazing job editing this video . Enjoyed your journey every step of the way . Thankyou both for walking and braving the cold 🥶 weather for us during the time of a major snow storm to hit Japan. Love the lights and the Christmas 🎄 tree . But the Ramen oh my goodness perfect meal of choice to warm the soul . This was a wonderful experience very much appreciated and worth the wait .This is going to be a wonderful series. 💙💛🧡
Woooah thank you for showing us how you guys travel from Tokyo to Hokkaido.. Hakodate its soo beautiful..the snow wooah to see from your vid its like being there.. hopefully we got a chance to visit Japan again ..
Yes, its a frightening thought, that, a major earthquake on Japans ever evolving volcanic islands might devastate the undersea bullet train. God how stressfull! Better have best last meal Bento box ever!❤ my most deepest respect to Japan. A most interesting take on society. I pray for their safety.🙏🙏🙏🙏😎🥰🥰🥰🥰🇺🇸
Thank you so much for a truly wonderful video. I felt I was there with you both. I visited Hakodate many years ago - my heart and soul are still there! Love you guys so much ❤️. Joan Nagase, Manchester, England.
Under water transport, OMG Mind you always match a culture with transport and Japan is high up on quality and safety. Luxurious train trip& lovely hotel. Time to add flavour to snow just like mum used to eat as child&you too I think. Have fun, stay warm&have yummy food
I love you two, I love that through your eyes I get to see a part of the world that I would love to see but never will get the chance to...thank you both for bringing me along ☺️
I love your videos--and because I am learning Polish I keep translating words I know into Polish! Coffee and tea, reading and table, etc. I feel as if I am really getting a multicultural experience. Also, I had no idea that Japan had a version of the Chunnel! I have been in the tunnel between the US and Canada, so understand your "No, no no!!" response.
That was fun! I loved seeing your day of travel from beginning to end--it felt like I was traveling with you. And, although I love cold weather, I got a chill as I watched you walking the frigid, snowy streets at night. Brrrrrrr! (I want your mittens, btw, Shinichi. 😁) The hot food looked so delicious and warming after your walk. Thank you for the lovely adventure.❤️❤️
Thanks for sharing this amazing journey with us. Was nice to see inside the the Gran Class of the Shinkansen 🚅. Kudos to Shinichi for being brave passing through the longest train tunnel in the world under the ocean. Hakodate looked beautiful with all the ❄️ and Christmas lights. The curry ramen 🍜 and fried chicken looked delicious 😋. Look forward to seeing more videos. Arigato 😀👍🙏
Oh the lights with the snow was so beautiful. It was a nice adventure Shinichi, your 1st night there. I loved the train ride there. I've never been on a train but want to some day. And sorry Shinichi I would love the tunnels.😊
Thank you I so enjoyed this video. The Hokkaido area is lovely and great to see the top end shinkansen. Hopefully Japan will welcome us back this year!
I really enjoy your videos. It was super interesting to journey with you with all the transfers. I can’t wait for traveling to be safe again so I can see Japan.
move to the northeast of US - you'll understand winter and it's sounds very very quickly. Your amazement at the snow, and the amount are pretty funny (not being mean here). Winter here is gorgeous and it's far better than summer. I love the brisk cold weather. It is 5 degrees F here and I've already been out for a hike.
Hello Satoshi and Shinichi Do you get to keep the pyjama? What a beautiful view. We use to get snow every year but with global warming we are lucky to get a few flakes. I love drinking hot chocolate or tea while watching the snow fall. I so cant wait to see the snow sculpture. Once we get things sorted. Enjoy boys. I'm so jealous lol look after yourself as you are one of my two favourite UA-camrs. X Heather
What a wonderful video! Every scenes polished beautifuly yet with precise details And you included so much informations for us incase we're going to there in the future God bless you, thank you
Oh my gosh, just watching y'all walk through that snow made ME feel cold even in comparatively warm Texas! Nothing ever seems to phase Satoshi, though. I have an old friend who lives in Sapporo, so I'm excited to see how that looks in your upcoming videos!
You have such yin yang personalities, that's why you compliment each other so well. And I like Satoshi's new look, sans cap. I think he looks younger. 🙂 Love this video - though it's over 50mins, it doesn't feel long.
What a wonderful journey! That was a wonderful Christmas gift for you Satoshi! Very nice Shinichi. :) EDIT: We had 8 inches of snow in 7 hours on Friday. It was very heavy coming down!
He Shinichi, I highly enjoyed this video, thank goodness for these salvaged footages 😁. You made me laugh towards the end when you were showing us half of the eaten apple pie 😆 and you were describing how it looked round when it was whole 😁
@@Shinichisworld sounds like Stan (my husband.) I can't wait for the next video to come, I really really loved the Shinkansen ride with you all! How deep under the ocean is the subway built? I would be in your shoes there
Buy a small pop-up makeup mirror so that you can have a view of the GoPro / phone screen while recording. Set it up behind the recording device and then you can monitor it in case of recording crash, etc. Hope you have / had fun in Hokkaido!! ❤️👍
I actually liked the voice over BETTER, and it was far easier to understand you and more pleasant to watch compared to that one part on the train. Please do that more.
Hau’ole Makahiki Hou! I’ve wanted to go to Hakodate for years. I can’t wait to see the other videos. Gran class looked fabulous. Where did you store your luggage on the train?
WOW that was a VERY nice Christmas gift you got your partner. I'm envious!!! lol

I understand how you feel with the tunnel under the water. I live in Denmark and go in a tunnel underwater every time over our largest bridge by train

That ramen looked so good! Out of all of Japan, Hokkaido is where I would most like to visit some day.
Satoshi reminds me of my husband, who has to play with all the buttons and gadgets on the plane or train. ;)
Watching here now Sir!. Thanks for Sharing!

I like how Japanese is a language spoken in a much deeper voice and so everytime they speak Japanese it looks like they had a change of personality.
I like the voice over

Awesome job bro
You guys are just too great. Love watching you and your travels. A bit of peace in my otherwise hectic life!
Yes it snows... but we are having a really hot winter. Shorts and flip flops during the day... but freezing at night. Strange weather. NM.
Thank you for this great video, i loved it!
Satoshi looking around searching is gold
Thank you to share this awesome experience with us 💖
I so miss Nihon in winter!
Looks a lot like here in northern Michigan where I am! Love the snow!
Loved the video! Although, some of the areas you went after the electronics store looked like locations for a horror movie. LoL
I luv your videos on all your channels 💗 thank you
Amazing video and fantastic foods 😍 😋
Thanks for sharing this video.🙏🙏🥰
Great video! Love you guys. I love cold wheather! Now, in my city in Argentina it’s 43 ºC! 😩
Thanks for this refreshing video! ❤️
Indeed, I visited Hokkaido a few years ago. And, I feel that they make the best ramen in all of Japan. Take care, Shinichi'san and Satoshi'san.

Got some Pumpkin Spice mochi. Are these available in Japan? I normally get mango, which I think are available there.
Very swish travels guys!!!! I wonder what the green tea 🍵 brand was in the train!!! ??
I enjoyed this so much, thank you Shinichi! Did Satoshi got a new Jacket at all?
He’s wearing his usual jacket. He doesn’t like spending money on clothes :)

We out our suitcases behind the last row of seats. They also have space in the corridor by the exits.
