Ahaha “because he was outside almost naked” 😆 and that penguin dance Satoshi did 🐧 I really love these cute moments between your banters, they are SO precious & real. Thanks for sharing these moments with us in your videos, Shinichi ❤️
This checked all the boxes for me... night walk, snow, Christmas lights, and that view from the observatory deck. I wouldn't want to come down from there if I was there. What a beautiful place. 😊
BRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!! 🥶 Thank you for braving the cold and ice to give us this tour of beautiful winter wonderland Hakodate at night! The fireworks were a wonderful surprise. The illumination was gorgeous and brought Christmas right back into my home. And when you stopped in to get that delicious, steaming shio ramen, I could feel the warmth. Speaking of warm, you are two handsome, endearing, interesting men who complement one another perfectly. Many hugs and much love for you both. ❤️❤️ 🫂
Hakodate Kanemori Red Brick Warehouse is a dreamland! I was there Christmas Eve and I cannot find the words to describe how beautiful the place is. Wonderful episode here. Thank you and happy you enjoyed the place. Same here!!!! 😍
Hey guys keeping warm l hope WOW awesome veiws the light's and snow 🌨️ the walk all awesome thanks for sharing this night with us take care stay safe ❤️😘😘
OMG!!! Thank you for this beautiful video of the city of Hakodate at night. The illuminations are absolutely beautiful. I can only imagine what they look like in person. You guys are in excellent physical shape. Walking up a hill, on ice & snow in minus degree weather, at night is strenuous. I would have had to take a taxi or bus to the gogola terminal. You capped the video nicely with your dinner. You and Satoshi needed that hot Ramen and it looked delicious and the chicken crunch, yummy. Again, thank you for giving us real content. Btw, I love the interaction between you and Satoshi❤❤❤❤❤
i went to hakodate in 2018 and it was one of the most beautiful cities i have visited in Japan. the seafood bowl in the seafood market was amazing, the miso/milk ramen was crazy oishii, we also had a melon pan at a shop up on the hill - amazing too. Aside from the food - the people, architecture, the vibe.. everything just as beautiful.. sure will come back again.. Thank you Shinichi & Satoshi for making this video!!
-Have really enjoyed and "felt" this place - along with the two of you. Interesting *outpost. You are both such lovely guys ( each in his own way, but terrifically complimentary) to "hang" with through pixels. Both for quality of territory and the personalities hosting - a very tender, appreciative "thumbs up." Stay well, Shinichi, and I deeply look forward to the next video in this series, and whatever else.
BTW, today in Toronto Ontario Canada we had a total of 50 cm of snow. Since I was born & raised here I'm use to this meaning we get this amount approx every 10 years. But traffic & public transport was a total mess. Schools some restaurants & businesses were closed
Lolz, Satoshi-san always good for spilling the proverbial tea (Philly story) 😆 I didn't catch it when I watched this when it first premiered 🤓 We love watching you guys! Kung Hei Fat Choi from Honolulu 🧨🐯🌿🥂🥢
Fun fact about the Christmas tree. They always get that big one from Nova Scotia. I asked my teacher why since there are closer Canadian cities and it's because Hakodate and Nova Scotia are sister cities. Nightview looked as beautiful as ever. In the summer, you can hike up the mountain. I've hiked up at 3am to catch the sunrise with my dorm mates once. It was spectacular. I enjoyed your video Shinichi and Satoshi. Stay warm. Looked pretty Slippery and cold for you guys. I used to ride my bicycle to yosakoi practice in the Hakodate winter. Everyone always wondered whose bicycle was parked outside in the middle of the snow.
Thank u for going beyond to show us this video. Snowy & icy sidewalks, running in precarious roads to catch the fireworks. Beautiful, your Hokkaido series make me forget the present. Thanks 🙏 😊
Ooo, that was beautiful, thank you! California born and lived all my life here with no snow, except the four years I was stationed in Syracuse, New York, when I was (a woman) in the Air Force. FOUR North Pole type winters was too much! You are right, anything that is shiny underfoot can lay you out flat quick! I wore lots of stuff to cover my head all over, my hands, my feet. The wind made it even colder. Ah, memories :D
That was quite a cold journey, but the payoff was worth it! What an incredible view!! I just adore the night videos. The fireworks were such a great surprise :) The holiday atmosphere at the waterfront was so nice. I bet that Ramen was AMAZING after being in the cold. I love gyoza, and when she dropped the plate RIGHT in front of the camera, I got so excited, lol. You are lucky I couldn't snatch those :) This was a seriously enjoyable evening with you guys.
I'm so in love , from the architecture to the views of the city and fireworks 🎆 had me cooing throughout this video , it just so beautiful. But I have to say Satoshi you say the funniest things sometimes 🤣 your hillairious sense of humor I just ❤ love . That restaurant has the best food ,you were so happy Shinichi it said alot about the food there. Thanks for showing the Christmas 🎄🎄🎄🎄they were spectacular , just like the series. 💛🐢
Shinichi you seem to have found your joy ! I feel hat you are very positive and joyous! Keep it up. If you can’t love yourself how can you love somebody else????
What are those cute little lighted houses at 25:16? Made me think of Snoopy's doghouse. Wanted to see them up close. Everything is so pretty. Loved the penguin dance! :D
Awesome video! Beautiful shots of a beautiful city. One comment tho...hehehe... Shinichi got jealous because Satochi said beer was the best THING in the world...he said THING not Person... really Shinichi??? Lmao. I love these type of videos over the "at home" taste of things. Anyway, keep it up guys. Peace
The view from the mountain top of Hakodate at night is spectacular . Kudos to you both for braving the cold and taking us on the night tour . Loved seeing the old buildings illuminated. Enjoyed the marina and like how it has been restored as a shopping precinct and the colour changing Christmas tree was awesome . Great video looking forward to seeing more. Arigato 😀❄️👍🙏
21:35 what are those gloves made of the brief glimpse of them looks store bought they are likely cotton. While they may look worm and be okay in spring and fall depending on conditions. Cotton is almost useless in the conditions shown in this video. You need wool or fleece lined. Cotton will wick away moisture either from you or the inventory then freeze holding the cold against your skin. Wool will keep you warm even when damp.
What a lovely video, and I'm even more appreciative of it after seeing the behind the scenes video. I had no idea how much work goes into these sorts of videos!
I know just how you feel on that hill! I had to buy ice cleats for my boots, since I live on a steep incline like that, and the weather in Minneapolis causes ice to form over the melted snow all the time. Luckily I've only fallen twice in the last 4 years!
Really nice, have been up there with my GF a few years ago and we loved it. Sadly walking trough the city is so dangerous as they don't clean off the ice at all there ... in my country we usually use salt or sand to make it less dangerous.
I find it kinda of stupid that you guys are wearing cloth masks (which had been said by the CDC and WHO that they dont do anything) instead of actually wearing a scarf during the winter.... Its very disappointing still seeing the japanese bend their knees to the still strict policies going on! You guys a a very timid people
Ahaha “because he was outside almost naked” 😆 and that penguin dance Satoshi did 🐧
I really love these cute moments between your banters, they are SO precious & real. Thanks for sharing these moments with us in your videos, Shinichi ❤️
Thank you Shinichi n Saitoshi for videos of beautiful Motomachi town
What a wonderful treat to take us viewers to see such amazing views...THANK YOU BOTH FOR MAKING THE TOUR!!!❤❤❤
Satoshi San is so mischievous I love his sense of humour, enthusiasm for life and general opinion of beer
函館は夜景が素晴らしく綺麗ですね
イメージ的には新鮮なお魚と思いますがラーメンも餃子も二人が食べていると美味しそうですねぇー
This checked all the boxes for me... night walk, snow, Christmas lights, and that view from the observatory deck. I wouldn't want to come down from there if I was there. What a beautiful place. 😊
The city is beautiful at night.
Missed the winter and snow of Hakodate. Especially the peninsula view from the Hakodate Peak.
Satoshi walks like he’s on a mission :) lol I’d never be able to keep up x)

Never boring. Thank you for the walk tour.
Better here than there. I am from San Diego CA USA.As far as I am aware I never have been in minus degrees temperature in my life.
Watching on a VERY snowy, cold day in Canada but this video, despite the snow, provides very cozy vibes.
Love the illumination. Very beautiful place at night. Seeing the snow makes feel me feel cooler here. You guys made me hungry with your shio ramen.
I am enjoying the view through the the camera. Thank you ShiniTcgi and Saofochi

So cold 🥶 but worth it! Amazing video of night walk and lights! Thank you ❤
I love Ramen so much and could eat it every day. Some day I am coming to Japan and go all over just to eat Ramen.

Thanks a lot for making us this great video in such cold temperature
Most welcome 😊
I so love your videos, I have been following you for years. The only bad thing is I watch late at night when I am hungry :( Thank you.
Super crispy karaage! And that shio ramen seemed divine 😋

The next time you guys go to Hakodate you should stay at La Vista Hotel. I stayed some 10 years ago and they had the best breakfast spread ever.

What I love about Japanese establishments is that they are always so vocal in their appreciation towards customers 😍

It was - 15 C here the other day. Typical where I live.
12:44 historic residential District?
Beautiful 🤩

You have no idea! Here in Sweden we could have minus 20!
-4? Wow. 2:11🤣
I was so confused by this video because I was prepared for ramen and it didn't happen until the end 😂
Wow to cold
I am afraid of extreme heights.
I think you can buy the face mask that keeps your face warm, I think they have a pocket for a hot pack.
Saotoshi could ski down that hill. Joke
🐧🐧🐧🐧🐧
😂😂😂😂😂
Nice video. Beer is not the best thing in the world though.
You sound like American, not Japanese...
I find it kinda of stupid that you guys are wearing cloth masks (which had been said by the CDC and WHO that they dont do anything) instead of actually wearing a scarf during the winter....
