Hello! It's really in comparison to the predecessor; the A6600. But it did come out a while back. Since then, Sony have really improved the AI/AF technology. And the sensor is much improved too. Hope that helps!

I enjoy macro so great to hear that the 70-200 can be converted to full macro using the 2 x teleconverter which I already own 😊 currently I use the 90mm macro so this lens is now on my bucket list 😊

Hey Roger, I know it was hard to believe for us too. It's surprisingly well balanced. But when on a full-frame, the body was much heavier than the lens.
