This man understood the situation 8 years ago…like he said ‘America need to reconsider its attitude towards India, which it hasn’t adjusted to yet.’

He got everything right except for the China part. Instead of being a regional moderator it became an aggressive state with expansionist policy.
Yeah he was wrong about that part but then again not sure why because I believe China's RBI was already declared prior to this conference. Maybe it was hard to gauge and predict how successful they would be in doing that. However, their expansionist policy has also lead to a national debt crisis. Let's see how that plays out in the next month or two.

well, yes that's true. Modi is transforming India's economy, but I slightly disagree on the point that' India has bad relationship with US. india and US have had been closely working together, in almost every field, and what I think is China is amongst the biggest competitors of India.
Why you are crying for bad relationship with usa ???. First of all you should remember usa was always trying to pull down India relationship . It's means that usa government want to stop our nuclear testing and put the heavy sanction on India economy. But when usa realized India would be next superpower and ofcourse trying to stop Chinese influence in Asia region . So don't dying for maintain relationship with usa . But this also truth America is a superpower country and we should maintain good relationship with usa and rest of others country for gaining and earn own benefit . This is called geopolitical issue and conditions. So kindly study and do research .

So far what we could see is changing different types of attractive attires ( some of them look like Chudidhars!) and creating a good number of hypes. He is not lmao, compare the economy today to 2013 and how well it is set for future growth. All of the current govt. policies are long-term, but people fail to realize that because they don't know economics and have poor awareness and information about how policies work.

@@oneshot2028 Do you guys look at one figure and not look at how other factors matter? India's population increased by around 200 million since 2014. That increase is equivalent to the entire population of countries listed as 4th to 7th largest populated countries.
Considering that and a growing working-age population (which requires more job influx than ever). And despite that you're telling me there is a 20.77% increase?! Seems like there is improvement, but natural factors are getting in the way.

You are being unreasonable with your expectations when you are living in the 2nd largest populated country. It is not easy to make changes through fundamental reforms and that too this quickly.
China needed 2 decades and at that they had an authorative style of governance with no balance and checks, yeah It lead to economic growth but look at their debt crisis now. Regardless, even China had to invest in massive infrastructures that don't pay off till later on.
Similarly, Modi is building infrastructure in India which will help in years to come.
These people are only interested in making money in a short time. See what has happened our economy is suffering.

You should study macro-economics to understand that things take time to play out. Modi is pushing the informal economy towards a formal economy. Taxes are being collected which have evidently been used towards development and progress. There is ease in business banking which is why there is more foreign investment today than ever. I think people need to be made more aware and educated to use it properly? Maybe, not sure of that. The govt is also changing how rupee is used in foreign trade which will increase Rupee reserves in all it's trading partners. Rupee value will also work out, not everything can be done at once.
