Hi!!! Love all the hacks. My Fav is the paper towels on the flag holder!!! I get in my golf cart and drive around the campground to relax my grandson and I check out all the rv’s. I’ve never seen this!!! So cool. That flashlight is also a weapon lol.

Great hacks guys! I especially like the drain plug relief valve. Super idea. Another thing to do. I work as a paramedic in central michigan and years ago I noticed that we dont always use all the absorbent "blue pads" that are put under patients that may be incontinent. We ended up accumulating so many at one point we didnt know where to go with them all. Kinda like your paper towel supply. So, i snagged a few of the extras for use in my garage. They are great if you put 1 under your oil pan before you take off the drain plug. Any drips that miss the pan get caught on the blue pad. no mess to clean up and then they make a super quick way to get the burn barrel lit.;)

For the plate in your microwave, an easier fix is just to cut a section of a foam pool noodle to be slightly longer than the distance between the plate and the ceiling of the microwave. The pressure from the noodle pressing down from the ceiling of the microwave will assure that the plate does not rattle when you are driving, and you just take the section of noodle out when you are ready to heat something.

Foam pouches (moving supplies) are great for eliminating noise from dishes, pots & pans or whatever. They're available at U-Haul facilities or Amazon. Another solution to lock out problem is to keep an extra RV key in your vehicle (if applicable). Likewise, before locking up our tow car, I always have my wife show me her keys to the car (as mine are in the ignition of the car). I have a magnetic paper towel holder that is in the compartment above my water connections and it can be easily removed and taken to where you need it such as the picnic table.

My thoughts about lining the door with felt to prevent rattling of the door is this. You will have to be mindful if your going to wash your rig. By putting the felt you lose the proper seal and will have a good chance of water getting in. I speak of experience.

Thanks, MJ and Izzy, for some great RV hack ideas! The microwave oven rattle is one that can drive me crazy, so we did the same thing with the glass tray. We use a lot of dish towels to wrap things that are prone to rattle in the kitchen area. Another thing we learned the hard way is to use tension rods in the refrigerator to prevent things from moving toward the door while driving - open the door when you arrive at your destination and things can go crashing to the floor! The tension rod solves the problem. Just be sure to measure and get the right size.

    • @EndlessRVing

As for paper towels, you could get the Pop-a-Towel holder from Camco. I have had one in every RV I've owned. The holder mounts under the cabinet in the kitchen, but slips out easily to make a standing holder for on the outside table. I love this thing. I really like your idea about putting fruit or stuff in the microwave. I usually put stuff in the sink, but then I can't use the sink in the kitchen. BTW we own an LTV Unity TB24, so space and storage is definitely at a premium. ❤️❤️🌹

Loved this video. I have a couple tips to share. Use a clothespin to keep papertowels from unwinding. Also, we applied some Velcro to a Sucrets tin and hid it behind an outdoor panel. That is where we hide our keys. Also, apply some putty to the bedside caddy to keep it from moving. Love the videos. Keep RVing!

I always had a hide-a-key on all vehicles I owned. Have one on my tow vehicle and travel trailer and I’m not going to tell where it is either. Also our camper came with a number combination keypad for the door. When at a campsite we never need a key to the trailer. One advantage of a travel trailer over a motor home or class C is that you don’t hear the rattles and noise in the trailer when motoring down the road.

I have become a big fan of your channel. I have been researching RV’s for the last 4 years. When I started researching RV’s, the first channel I came across was that prime pooping guy (you all know who that is). Great site for quick views of all types of RV’s. My wife and I would love to have a RV when we fully retire as we have children and grand children spread around the country. Right now I’m really leaning toward the latest version of Coachman Euro which you also reviewed. Loved this video of tips and hacks. Really like your videos on RV parks and places to stay and places to visit. I have always been curious about things like what is the water pressure like in the shower and sink. How long of a shower do you take. Seems to me like you would go through your water in a couple of showers. Keep up the good work.

Just bought a motor coach and just found y’all! The noise reduction hacks on the entry door are EVERYTHING! Thank you!!!! I sewed an envelope of the non slip pad for the microwave tray to leave it in place. Also I use a dollar store knee pad in the gardening section to make two things 1) a pad between the glass shower doors and 2) pad between the wall and the barn door. Also, I hinged the wood covers under the dining benches (couldn’t believe that wasn’t already done). Hope these help someone as much at the entry door tricks!❤️

Just stick a little "museum wax" or Gorilla putty under that bedroom side table thing and it won't slide off anymore and you don't have to move it, but it can be if you want, plus the wax and/or putty can be reused many many times. It saves the worry of anything shifting in travel.

The paper towel idea is genius. One way to leave it in place over night, get a long piece of PVC pipe 6 or 8" diameter cut a groove in one end. B/4 going in for the night slip the pipe over the paper towels and slip an end cap over each end. No waste due to dew on surprise rain.

They are mounted with hook and loop command strips so can even remove to use as a flashlight. Thanks for the tips! We have a pen-type flashlight that we're always digging for in the junk drawer! It has a magnetic handle so I just stuck it to the stove vent! 👍 We're currently house hunting, and living in our RV, so we've had to come up with lots of hacks too! One simple, but really helpful one, was to put push lights from Dollar Tree on the inside of the wardrobe doors. I have a small set of plastic drawers in my wardrobe, and the ceiling lights just don't hit the right spot to see inside. Those push lights are pretty bright, and they come with adhesive strips to attach them! I also have our cats' litter box in the kennel under our bed (I removed the cage door), and a push light stuck to the underside of the bed lift board, lights that area up so I can see what I'm scooping! 💩 LOL!!
