- 8 tips for inking your work as I've been getting loads of requests for this sort of video, and have wanted to put out a helpful video for some time! Thank you to those who took part in voting for the video subject in the community, the next one will be out as soon as possible.

I prefer manga Dip pens whit diffrent nibs. They are my holy grale for inking. I won,t use micron pens or any other pens just a manga Dip pen whit diffrent nibs. I use inda inkt from talens 490 ml bottle,i use a toned tan strath more 400 series sketch book . I love working on brown paper. Bombay india inks from dr ph martins. A mechanical pencil whit red and blue leads,watercolour paper 300 gsm en the Iridescent india inkt sets. They are so pretty. Thanks for the tips

It’s the hokey pokey
I'm struggling with placing shadows and also stylizing shadows. ie. solid shadows that taper off into crosshatching, lines or dots. Can you give me any tips on that? Thanks

move your microphone slightly to the side to avoid the popping Ps. (source: I talk into a microphone for my day job.) A microphone is in the best position when it's slightly to the side of your mouth.

A long time ago on an artist's inking video, Darth Disney issued a copyright strike killing the young artists channel. Disney didn't know this would only cause the artist to rise again, stronger than before and ready to plagiarize again!

gweakles here's a hopefully helpful tip, try putting a thin blanket between you and your microphone, it's a trick I saw on a think about voice acting from home. It's supposed to help keep the audio from peaking I believe

I've been drawing for a while now, but I'd never learned How to utilize my art tools. I have a Prismacolor brush tip marker that I've tried inking with in the past, and my pieces just *never* came out how i wanted. Right now, I'm practicing how to hold the brush and messing around with strokes while watching this tutorial. I already feel more confident! Your happy demeanor made this learning experience a lot more fun, too. ^^ Thank you for sharing this video!!!

Terrible tip! Tried combining a brushpen, pencil and a few others together. They barely fit in my hand and it was really difficult to control 10 pens at once! It just made a complete mess. :(
I rather just use them one by one like I'm used to. Great video though! ;)
