This is so wack cause now, sports outlets like you are going to spread this notion that this kid is a bust and everybody is going to judge this kid based his few games played, coming back from an injury that was mishandled, misdiagnosed, whatever you what to call it. Thank you. I thought the same damn thing when they picked him. Yes, his team wasn't amazing but the Pac 12 hasn't been a great basketball conference the past few years and his team wasn't god awful. He had 3 other guys on that team who were averaging over 10 a game and Noah Dickerson averaged basically the same amount of ppg and shot more efficiently.

I go to doctors, bu they misdiagnose me. Then the media and people start to question my heart. Then people start to say I have the yips. Then my GM questions my heart. Then, because I've been misdiagnosed, I put in a lot of work to improve and help my team, but my pain is still there. After all this, after two seasons, I still haven't played a single healthy game -- but I'm a bust? And I'm a bust when it has just been discovered why I've had this pain? And I'm a bust when I haven't been even given one day of treatment yet? And I'm a bust when I haven't been back on the court after my first actual treatment period yet? And I'm a bust when I'm 20 years old? Oh, I've forgotten how to play basketball, yet I have the record for the 'youngest player to have ever recorded a triple double'? And anyone who knows basketball can clearly tell he's a good player -- but was limited by not being able to pull up for shots. What horseshit. What complete and utter horseshit. Markelle Fultz is injured, you fucking clowns. Stop making pronouncements. You don't know enough. Nobody knows enough.

We know WHEN he got injured, it was last year between the summer league where he looked as good as he did in college, and pre-season where he couldn't shoot anymore. But HOW did it happen? It certainly didn't happen in a game or in practice because the Sixers management seemed oblivious to his condition. Was fluid taken out of his shoulder or was cortisone shot in? Was it a covered-up motorcycle accident as some rumors say? I wanna root for the kid but I must say this whole Fultz drama is like a sushi restaurant... fishy as hell!

@No Name Dude, they're in their sophomore seasons, you can't even judge them as one of the weakest draft classes of all time just one year into their NBA careers. If you do, you're an obvious troll or you need to finish your primary school education. Nothing special? Did you see Tatum and Mitchell in the playoffs this year? Tatum led his team to beat Milwaukee, Philly and going 7 games against Lebron's Cavs averaging 18/4/2. Mitchell and the Jazz upset the Thunder in 6 games, averaging a monster 28/7/2. De'Arron Fox are averaging 17/3/7.5 and the Kings are vying one of the Western conference playoff spots. If Markkanen didn't have his pre-season injury I think the Bulls would be in a way better position they're in right now and I believe he would be an All-star in the East. I personally believe there will be 5+ All-stars from this class, as players such as Collins and Smith Jr develop and get more experience.

shoulder injuries are no joke especially when its with the nerves or tendons. As someone with tendinitis in my shoulder I remember playing volleyball and not even being able to lift my shoulder above my head on its own if i tweaked something. These injuries allow no range of motion and I'm not surprised Fultz can't shoot because his shoulder is probably killing him everytime he tries to move it. Prayers up

A few months ago in Orlando I got to meet Markelle Fultz. He’s struck me as really cool.
You guys exacerbate issues so much that perhaps it may play role in the 'psychological demons' that Fultz is suffering. I understand that this is your job and slandering athletes is a component that plays a major factor with your viewership and everything, but this kid is a 20 year old kid with already unrealistic expectations in a new social media era and you guys are making things worse. I can only imagine Fultz has been through much adversity from childhood to finally achieve an incredibly rare accolade of being the number #1 pick and he probably expected a lot of this... but much less than the world has thrown at him. Please leave this narrative alone until he returns from injury and proves his worth. You guys have so many other stories to cover/create.
