My discord and I were just discussing how we hope he's secretly immortal. I definitely see him being involved in some form as long as he can given his passion.
@@dondonrvI agree, I genuinely believe this man just has so much creative energy and passion that he will likely keep making games until he physically cannot do so anymore.
If he does it would either the start of the souls games downfall or it would continue to thrive, if taken over by someone that Miyazaki can trust and knows very well how to create a good souls game
I love how you describe it as “his fourth masterpiece”, and know that there is at least two more to come. Miyazaki is without question the most prolific game creator of all time. His library of triumphs is unrivaled.
As a fan of The Vision of Escaflowne, I was surprised to find out Miyazaki is also a fan of this underrated series from this video. I hope one day, Miyazaki is given a chance to create a fantasy mecha game. ☺️
Haha.. many people think that this channel is about Berserk or about the Making of games... It's a game design channel. All the videos so far are just prelude to that... many preparatory videos to go before the true content of the channel begins. My end goal is to create a game with our channel community, but lots of prep work to reach that (We will go through lots of game design topics, and with the audience now familiar with the "making" of games, they can relate more to design concepts. And we have an excellent model and a common point of reference, Miyazaki-san and his games. The next major series in this channel will be "The Game Design of X" and so on (these videos will still be part of the preparatory content, and not yet the true content of this channel) We are in a stage of getting everyone in the same page, so we can "run" when the prep work is done.
Hahah...and it will appear again in our Sekiro video :) (Because it's truly remarkable, a company president directing multiple games in 2 to 3 plus year windows... meanwhile, some games like Diablo III and Diablo IV takes 10+ years to develop and then just fizzle out upon release, without making a dent in the gaming industry)
Thank you so much for making this! Dark Souls 3 is one of my favorite games of all time and will forever be the definitive Soulsborne experience to me. Watching this brought back some phenomenal memories. Truly the perfect closing to the Dark Souls series. Thank you Dark Souls!
19:28 and 30:02 from the very bottom of my heart, I can't thank enough to Fromsoft for giving miyazaki chance to create his own game since the Demon souls era, and it made him who he is now.

these videos are so beast, literally one of my favorite soulsborne series on youtube, definitely rivals the quality of some of the top channels. I would go as far to consider this a top channel already
It's hard to think of a game that tops dark souls 3 for me. When I first bought it in 2018-2019 I actually hated it, then 3 years later I had bought ds1 remastered and eldem ring and played them for several hundred hours combined. I then decided to play bloodborne a bit since I had a PS5, didn't finish but did like it. Then when looking through my steam library and noticed dark souls 3 again, so I decided to play it and I lost myself in it for days, exploring every crevice, loving every second of it and then I beat it, and honestly that feeling of finality made my sad but unbelievably happy with one of th best gaming experiences I have ever had. Even before I played the DLC, DS3 held a special place in my heart. I really hope we don't get a dark souls 4, because I know it will never give me that same experience I had with 3. Thank you Miyazaki, please keep making games.
How are you doing this? You’re pumping these out so fast and they are so well done. I get the feeling you’ve had these in the can for a while already and are just staggering the releases. You did it again @dondonrv thank you sir. One particular aspect that comes to mind beyond Miyazaki's genius, is Bandai Namco's impeccable marketing rollout. Which is clearly replicated with Sekiro and Elden Ring, they really know how to build hype.
FromSoft and Namco are a partnership made in heaven@@dondonrv . But I need to correct that Sekiro was actually published by Activision! Maybe it's all FromSoft at the end
Yap! It's Activision.. and it made a buzz back in the days because of the community's feelings toward Activision. (I have this covered in the Sekiro video, what Activision truly contributed to the partnership)
Great video man! You put a lot of info and cool BTS things in here that we Souls fans just love to eat up. DS3 is my all time favorite game. FromSoft really is one of the best game devs to ever exist

Haha.. thanks! :)
Been a while since I clicked on a video this fast
Haha..let's go! :)
Great journey of a video as always. I think the final words in this video are interesting, because arguably Miyazaki has already surpassed Souls.
Haha.. Bloodborne and Sekiro alone already proved it! But let's hope for that Fantasy Mecha! :)
You did it again @dondonrv thank you sir. One particular aspect that comes to mind beyond Miyazaki's genius, is Bandai Namco's impeccable marketing rollout. Which is clearly replicated with Sekiro and Elden Ring, they really know how to build hype.
Oh yes! Bandai Namco is excellent at marketing! The contests for shields, story, then the Dark Souls Cafe, etc... lots of good ideas there! :)
Platinum Games could make a wonderful Berserk game if they make it crazy as MGR:R especially its parry mechanic which was wonderful
Thanks for sharing! :)
Great video! The big work put in it shows very well!
Thanks for the kind feedback! Much appreciated! :)
great job brother , thoroughly enjoyed it.
Thank you! :)
Oh yeaaaah!! Babe new multi hour dark soul’s development documentary dropped
Let's go! :)
Exactly the video I wanted to watch
Haha.. Let's go! :)
i appreciate the usage of the furi ost in your vids
Haha.. you noticed! :) (I love Furi! It's my isometric Sekiro)
Great video man! You put a lot of info and cool BTS things in here that we Souls fans just love to eat up. DS3 is my all time favorite game. FromSoft really is one of the best game devs to ever exist
Thanks for the kind feedback! Much appreciated! :)
1:50:41 What I wouldn't give to experience an event like that
Another masterpiece, since you started this series I was watching (mostly listening) to every single video of it over and over. This is hands down my favorite series in UA-cam! I hope you get bigger, and better. All respect 🫡
Thanks for the kind feedback! Much appreciated! :)
You will overtake vaatividya one day bro.. your videos are so detailed , so well researched and pleasant to hear
Ahahahahahaha I don’t think this is the correct mentality. What a hilarious comment.
Agreed! Let's leave other channels alone :)
I appreciate your work for these videos
Thank you! :)
Man... That mecha-fantasy game he says sound soo cool with the current state of FS it would be a GEM. I hope to see somethime something like that scafloune was soo unique for that reason.
i Sincerely hope you cover Armored Core 6 after elden ring as it was the first time in 10 years fromsoftware changed their style from souls back to armored core with a diffrent director than miyazaki
