This video editor needs a raise.
Probably Cory!
Pretty sure Cory does all the video editing. Insanely hard worker
Cory needs more money. Agreed.
Flaming flying Petar was something else
Lol hire me Corey I’m cheap!
I want a supercut of just cory and sonny laughing endlessly.
both different types of wholesome full bodied laughs: I need it
I NEED more of that Gene Simmons and Cory video.
After 12 minutes, I thought "This is seriously over already?!"
Tons of fun to watch. Excellent production and educational value. Great work to everyone involved!
The editing is cracking me up so bad, love it
The assassin version that Cory linked reaches unbelievable speed levels. Guitarists will break their wrists just by listening to it. And that Petar can follow the speed on the drums without his arms detaching from torso... I don't know what drugs these guys took in Kansas :D
Petar has quickly raised towards the top of my "favorite drummers of all time" list and I've been around a while, so me saying this is a pretty big compliment! I won't say he is my absolute favorite, because honestly, that's an impossible question to answer, but he is probably top 5, for sure!
The talent in that room is just staggering!
I love when one of you demonstrates something and the rest joins in
I really dig the Q&As
4:29 wait so singer Ricky Martin was Livin' the Vida Loca as a Doctor of Medicine in Georgia? Sonny T. Is so deep in the music biz he makes no sense to outsiders.
Still hella entertaining Q&A, the best one yet.
Ricky Minor
Died at the sound effect at 3:22 😂
Petar has a very strong point on the song he chose. The slow, simple beats are usually the hardest to maintain. You need to subdivide in your head and NOT on the kit.
Video editor....ROCK STAR!!!
Oh come on, this is becoming obscenely lively, genuine, funny and sometimes even wise. Give us more !!
Holy moly, that solo is wild!
I understand why you hired him, Jay Web is a Champion! Thank you so much for sharing that recording, you’re the man Cory.
I would love to watch this band rehearsal in person. Just to watch the chemistry.
imagine if the chemistry was an artistic construct and they all had contracts out on each other with assassins and this was fake but they were so good it looked natural ...
Just realized that Sonny T. plays double-backwards: lefty and bass note to the floor. Never seen that in a bassist! Cool!
I think that's also how Mononeon plays, even though he's actually a righty
Y’all are the best
I love this band ,the hang is so cool .
I need to see the full video of the concert where Gene Simmons apparently bullies Corey for a full set
Jaco meets Rocco! Love it
Jaco meets Rocco. I understood EXACTLY what he meant. Finger funk is what I call it.
Love the metal lineups on the new tour 🤣🔥
I love y'all ❤️ Asheville NC Cory, don't ever stop learning! You are talented. Never be content continually & progressively pushing forward like all the greats!
For some reason this has the vibe of some kind of jazz funk sleepover
Lovely stuff!
The finest moment over here in Cambridge UK was instinctively reaching for an instrument which wasn't in the room when Cory started a track, drums and perc went to come in on the one. I had the fear as if it was a gig and I was about to be naked on stage! 🤣
Just listened to the Jay Webb solo, absolutely wicked
You’re band is so epic and I love these videos!!!!! I play sax and these vids give the best advice. Come to Sydney Australia please!!
You guys straight up rock!!!! The flow and tightness you all have is incredible!!!!!!!!! Top notch musicians!!!! I can’t wait to listen to more!!!!!!
Please. Never stop doing this videos, they are gooooolden (by you and Cody Fry).
Great questions! I love hearing your stories.
bro these vids are edited so fucking well give your editor massive props!!!
Everytime I see Kenny I think of Michael Chiklis on The Commish. So Kenny, you are The Commish of horn players 🎷😆
I nearly got hit by a Flying Guitar once 🤣
Greetings guys 🌞 it's amazing to have a band, enjoy and share is the best 🌞
Thanks for the career advice.
Yep that trumpet solo is fire haha yesss 🔥
Such great words of wisdom from these musicians. Life lessons to learn right here!
I heard that Gene Simmons story from a folk singer named Otis Gibbs who really digs what you're about.
@11:27 When you watch Cory Wong's right hand you can see the law of physics at work. All the energy originates from the wrist down into a loose hand like a whip.🙂
LOVE it! Thank you!
plz come to Nw Zealand
ok now i get why Giorgia's music is so dope! We got Sonny on our backs!
Masterclass.
I love this band with all my heart
The video edits over Sonny T singing Assassin. Im dying
🤣
Damn that was a lot of effects, cool trumpet solo!
Can't wait to hear you live in a room in a few weeks!
Droppin' knowledge and havin' fun!
Cory rules.
Very entertaining! Keep em coming.
I wish I lived in this world all the time
Esperando o dia em que verei o Cory Wong resenhando na guitarra com o Swing do Cacau Santos.
I sang Background vocals for a Warner Bros Movie end title song for just no money at all. But it was fun.
Sick
See you in Denver gang! ill proabbly cry dont judge me
Skeptically go to listen to trumpet solo, proceeded to pick jaw up off the floor.
This video really shows that musicians don’t use actual words to explain things, they either play or we just go “da da da daw”
That frogville solo is super hard.
Cory did you edit this?! Straight up hilarious 😂
Did Cory ever explain "Call Tommy Bahama"? I'm sure it's not an interesting story, but I need to know.
Prepared comes before opportunity, or something like that!
So where can we see you jammin with Gene? lol I searched but came up empty. I need to see this. 😅
🤩❤️
Lmao great editing😂
running to hear assassin
4:10 what did he mean by that
Cory, question:
Whatever happened to Kevin macintire? He used to be the go to bassist, but now he rarely gets called up.
Love his bass solo on friends at sea live :)
The story about providing feedback to Seth along the lines of "you're missing these Sonny T licks, it's the truth" is probably as close of an answer as we'd get. If Cory's platonic ideal for bass is Sonny T, and he's available, he's got to be there.
@@cowbellthunder true, but when he doesn’t get sonny, he goes to johannes or Seth. Also Victor Wooten but that doesn’t count lol.
I wonder if the Kevin thing is a playing issue or more of a personal one…
I would guess playing
kevin is still a great friend. his regular full time gig is with ben rector!
@@CoryWongMusic oh cool! Glad to hear you guys are still friends :)
Just can't do no Wong
Whats the name of the first song?
That groove that you start at 11:28 ... Damn! Can you just keep playing and make it a SONG?! Because I think you got something there! You should do this guitar thing full time, Cory! Not just now and then on UA-cam.
Ketosis / Colonel Panic
8:29
Coolest band ever...
Where’s Lampley?!
that trumpet man behind the bassist looks like anwar xD
Yeah baby first comment & like! And it’s on a vid that I”m really digging.
Ok
@@thmsrttg So…..you are agreeing with me?
That ending track got a name and release?
'smooth move' from The Striped Album
@@CoryWongMusic Sweet. I'll check it out.
No striped shirt? Dry cleaners must have lost his laundry.
😂
duuuuuude. you can't just end the video after 12minutes... what the hell
I love and hate Gene Simmons. He has the highest "'financial success and notoriety'-to-talent" ratio of perhaps all professional musicians.
My take away-be cool with your band
