I haven't quilted since I started an ill-fated log cabin quilt 35 years ago, but I have always been interested in quilts and have collected ideas over the years, as I raised our kids and then saw them off. Now I have some time. Your videos are such an inspiration that I'm going to get started once again, and may even dig up that old pile of blocks in the basement to finish that old quilt! The thought of now making quilts for all the kids is heartwarming. Thanks for giving me a jump start!

Donna, you're a brilliant step-by-step tutor! And sooooo inspiring. I love to watch ..... and I feel I can do it. Problem is, I'm British but I live in Belgium and you can't buy any packages of pre-cut fabrics or jelly rolls here. I may just start by doing a small runner or pillow. No big deal to cut pieces for that. A quilt would be never ending. Thanks for sharing! 😊💜
I love the colors you used. Purple and blue are my favorite colors. I find them to be "eye catching" colors. I also love the softer colors in the second quilt. They go perfectly with our "hot" Texas weather.
Wish I had a large table and ironing area as yours. I might be as organized as you in 15 or 20 years. Love your quilting and have made and am making more of your quilts.

Donna, I made this quilt last year with an aqua jelly roll by Benartex and it turned out so beautiful. I was quite surprised at how easy it was to make, the seams matched perfectly. I used a 9 inch square ruler with a 45 degree angle an just moved it up and down on my seamline, worked great. Thanks for all your tutorials love them .

That's what I think happened when I was making my quilts. Pulling the fabric while sewing them together. Makes a lot of since.
