They always match her project😍
Donna, I want to tell you something. I am a new quilter. I come from a long line of quilters on both of my parents side, but my mom passed away when I was young. What I was left with is some really beautiful heirloom quilts. Lucky me in once sense but no one to teach me. So I have watched a LOT of videos. All the big names on youtube. I love all of the gals I am subscribed too. But I want to tell you that I so much enjoy the pace that you work at. Lets be honest, when you "get it" you..."get it". I can tell you that I enjoy the pace, I mean lets just get to it. Now if I was not an accomplished seamstress in my own right, maybe I would need a slower video. But gosh I love how we just get to it. And I love how you also know when to stop explaining or over explaining. I will be ordering from you shop from time to time because I so want to support you. Not by just watching or sewing along. Your generosity of give aways, even blows my 42 year old son away as he walks through my sewing area. He says, "Mom are they giving away another item?" "How good are these people!". Very good Son, very good.
Thanks for taking the fear, mystery out of this. So great. You are definetly a get it done gal. ....insert big hug right here.
Hi Mary couldn't say it better myself. Just love the pace that Donna teaches. You are so lucky having Jordan Fabrics in the States. I would so love to buy when they have some fantastic precuts by Matt but I'm in the UK and it's so expensive to pay for the postal charges. Its almost double the price. So I buy what I can when I can on line that have free postage. Greetings from London.
Really excellent tutorials
What I like about your tutorials is you are direct and to the point. Often learning a new time saving technique. I retired to Europe and quilt shops are hard to find. Patterns are almost nonexistent. So you have become my teacher. Thank you!
So pretty!!! Also, anyone else obsessed with Donna’s Nails? Lol
Always!
Yes!!!
Omg I thought it was just me 😂😂😃😃.
OMGOSH yes! The coordination she gets is so wonderful!
Me!!! They are as beautiful as the quilts she makes!!!
I actually follow you better than written instructions so I appreciate your videos. I am just that type of learner. 😊
I love the Tea Time pattern! I just finished sewing the blocks together on the one I'm making. I used a jelly roll I had here, plus part of another jelly roll to make it a bit larger. And NOW I know why I ended up with more of one block and less of the other! But it turned out just fine because I made a few extra strip sets. Tomorrow my husband and I are making a road trip to my favorite quilt shop 3 hours away down in the Amish area of Ohio. I'll buy border fabric and the backing. It's just a day trip, but will be like a mini vacation!
Sounds like heaven to me!
I love pink but the green calmed down all the pink. This is fun pattern!
I really like the all green quilt. So calming!
Polly HG I agree!
I love the green quilt!!
Me too.
You make quilting look so easy and your color choices are great...you husband also has excellent choices putting fabric together.
...I just found your videos and have enjoyed watching them. Both you and your husband work very well together.
Love it! I originally wanted the pink border, but now I love the green with pink binding 😂 beautiful quilt!
I thought the same way
I was happy to see the pink used, too; I thought she wouldn't leave it off!
The Green was the right choice!!!! another great delivery!!!! Congrats!!!!
Beautiful jacket.
Good to see how different the quilt looks in each color. Have a great day
Bghghhhhh
Yes, the jacket caught my eye too. Looks wonderful.
I loved the green border better. I absolutely love your videos and instruction, you are a lovely lady.
Oh my word! That pattern is so pretty and it looks simple enough for me to do without too much fear of getting it all wrong. You are such an angel to share the pattern, knowledge, and steps to help others learn. As a newbie to quilting, I want to say a huge thank you for doing this and thinking of others. Also, the free quilt giveaway is gorgeous. I am hoping to be experienced and good enough to be brave and attempt one like that some day. I am not ashamed to say I enjoy watching your videos all day long. I feel like I am learning more with each video, so again, thank you for sharing this with us. Have a blessed day all.
Lovely quilt. And I love the way your son photographs how he shows us the way the seams are laying flat. He gets really close. We'll done.
I also like the green best.
I think this would make a lovely baby quilt in pastel colours perhaps all shades of pink or blue. Just like the quilt with the shades of green.
Thanks Donna.
Amazing how correct pressing makes such a difference! Thank you Donna! P.S. Love your "new" hair color!
My eleven year old granddaughter said she wants her room to look like the inside of a fish tank ie lots of turquoise . I think this pattern will be perfect in those great blue greens. Thanks Donna for a great pattern and video. I eagerly look forward to each new video and often watch them more than once.
It is amazing with the blue/greens/aqua. That's what i used. I'm a Caribbean baby so i love the water
@@MegaBenjojo Thanks you so much for letting me know. I'm eager to get at it.
Have to try it! Love it when you assembly the pieces and not to have to worry about the intersection meet
I like the pink better but it’s because I’m partial to pink!
I love the sunflower border too.
Oooooh, I love the green one!
This quilt looks great. But , I absolutely love the green quilt. I’m going to try a single color hue jelly roll. Thanks for the tutorials! They’re great!
Thank you Donna. Your hints help us achieve high standards.
Patterns are great but you always set us up for success with all our quilts.
Love this pattern, you don't have to match intersections! Great tip: cutting the border and sewing them to those bias edges. I agree, the green really made the quilt top! BTW: Love your long kimono top!
You explanation is so simple, saves hours of work. Thanks Central Coast Australia.
Thanks for another great video - you are so supportive and encouraging, and always explain why things should be done in a certain way, which really helps me understand. It's fascinating to see the difference the choice of fabrics and quilting patterns make to this quilt - I love the green one most.
I just live all your tutorials. I’m 64 and just started quilting this year and you explain everything so well that I don’t feel intimidated at all. I cannot thank you enough for all your excellent explanations as to why you do something the way you do. Thank you hardly seems enough to say but, thank you!!
The Green version of Tea Time is Gorgeous, but I'm probably biased, green is my favourite colour. I'll have to try making one in green.
Green is my favorite color also.
LOL! I would have gone with the pink but then again, I am a pink person!!
Mine too
This is a very beautiful quilt. I must make one. Love the green border and , flower border and pink binding and backing. This is so geniuses at work.❤❤❤❤❤❤😊😊and I'm tea drinker , so must do this quilt 😊😊😊
Love your tutorials! Thank you for teaching me so much about quilting and sewing.♥️✨
I have learned so much from watching you sew.
I need a reply can I can this pattern with 9” square ruler
Yes I too am crazy about Donna ‘s nails. I can’t get mine to grow so finger pressing doesn’t work. I love all her video’s. Keep teaching us Donna. I am watching tea time
Beautiful
Your finger pressing and adherence to grain of fabric when pressing are things I could have used long ago (am 80 now). I use both every time I see now.
So happy I have got my jordan fabrics fix. Cheers from Australia
I am very impressed!!! You are an excellent teacher ever!! Love to watch your inspirational videos.
The green looks great and I love the outer border! I'm gonna need some of that yardage! Thanks for sharing your tutorials!
Love the green quilt the best!
This is a great pattern for a fast quilt! We got twins headed our way! My brain is reeling!
Congrats, Sandra, I got twin grand babies three years ago. They are an absolute blessing!
Sandra Willman , congratulations 🎊🍾🎉🎈, what a blessing!
I’ve watched your original video maybe a half dozen times because I’m making the Tea Time quilt. Stopped midway...got side-tracked. The instructions you added in this second video will really help. Thank you so very much!
Hi Donna, I can't seem to locate the pattern on the Pattern's page. Would you mind reloading please? THis is a beautiful quilt and I have just the jelly roll to do it. Thanks in advance.
@@corinac76 Thank you so much.
Pink! The green didn't pull it together as much in my eyes. My sister in law was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer been looking for a quilt to make for her while doing treatment. This or the Carousel quilt will be the one. I've made several Carousel quilts since seeing it. Thanks Donna for the inspiration.
Donna, I made this Tea Time Quilt. I also got the fabric (Free Spirit) from you. I am now retired, and semi-disabled and needed to find something to sink my heart and soul in. I'm finding it fabulous to learn this craft with extraordinary people like you sharing your expertise and knowledge. I would forward a photo, but It is not quilted yet. I am attempting to LEARN Free Motion Quilting. When it is done, I will certainly forward a photo. Thank you for what you do to make it a better world. Barbara
I can't seem to find the free quilt patterns you say we can download at "PATTERN is here". I would love this one and I had one two weeks ago that I wanted. Please help. I love your videos and your choices.

Love Donna’s nails, always something different! Love her videos, learning so much!
Love how you 'don't mess around' and just 'do it'. You make me more confident with my skills.
I love your channel! I've been a subscriber for a few months now and have thoroughly enjoyed the tutorials and the free patterns! I own 2 seasonal jelly rolls - Halloween and Christmas and wasn't sure how to approach quilting them! I am so making the Tea-Time Quilt! Also, it's so awesome to see your family business in action! Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and business with us!
Definitely like the green border over the pink.
The green border looks the best
Green-
I love your idea for measuring the border. I've never thought about doing it that way. I do make sure I measure them.
I seriously get nail polish envy every time I watch one of your videos! Oh, and the quilt is GORGEOUS too! Thanks so much for the amazing tutorial. :)
These nails are press-on from Kiss that I ordered from Ulta.
don't ever get tired of your videos.
I love this pattern! I have made 6 of these in the past and I cut out strips from my Fassett fabrics at the beginning of the year to make 4 more so I can keep one or two of them. However, with Covid, I haven't started sewing any of them, working on masks for family, friends and neighbors instead. If you haven't tried this pattern yet, do so! It is so fun and goes together quickly. The final result looks so complicated, no one will know how easy and fun it was. Thanks Donna!
Yes, this is my favorite style of quilt - it looks complicated, but is easy to make!
Another winner💖 its a simple project, but to someone who doesn’t quilt. It looks complicated. Looks like you worked all day 😂 please don’t stop showing us your creativity!
Catching up one ones I missed. Donna you're da best! :)
Ok...I spoke before the video was over! I LOVE the pink binding! The combinations of all the colors just POP. Thanks again for a great pattern.
Happy Day! A new video, new quilt, new pattern! And so very easy and beautiful!!
I just bought this ruler recently. Perfect timing on a pattern to use it. I also love how her sewing machine stitches so fast it becomes a blur. I always get a kick out of that.
I moved from Central Point, Oregon to the Oklahoma City area 15 years ago!! Miss the trees and mountains! I am excited to see a Rogue Valley business so successful! Thank you for posting
I’m team pink! I’m glad you used both...they both look lovely. Thank you for sharing your expertise. You’re a fabulous teacher!
thank you donna you are amazing! i'm 12 years old and I am currently making your scrappy table runner and i'm doing it as a quilt!. I got 6 blocks done in 3 days and its so incredibly easy thanks again!
Well done!
With a name like Donna everything is great 😊 very much enjoyed your video.
Dear Donna, the cut tip is worth a million stars!!! 👏👏👏
Donna, you are amazing. You make it all so easy. I have lots of jelly rolls. Will definitely make this. Thank you.
Dear Donna, thanks for such a great idea to make such a nice quilt!
Your eyes, when you tell the instruktions, are shining like the nice colours, you've taken in the quilt.
It's a lot of fun to watch your tutorials. Thanks for this great moments!
I love everything you do. I can hear you talk and teach all day. Thank you. So beautiful
I LOVE WATCHING YOU DO THE QUILTS I ENJOY SEEING SO MUCH I LOVE ALL THE COLOURS ALL THREE LOOK GREAT THANK YOU MARIA FROM MALTA ..
This is another quilt that I must add to my to do list. It looks nice and simple and would be perfect for a mindless sew day. I would have preferred the pink border on the front, but the green looked great. I love the Trellis quilt. I’m going to go and watch that video again. It was one of my favorites. Thank you Donna.
That one looks like a good one for beginners Donna I think I may try it
another winner.....love the colors....you are a great teacher.
I enjoy watching your videos. Your instructions are precise and clear. And, you really seem to enjoy what you're doing...so much so that you make some quilts two or three times! So refreshing and I learn something new every time I watch you. Thanks!
Donna i just love this quilt especially as there is no matching of strips but still makes a fabulous quilt. Your teaching is excellent and i love your enthusiasm. I was thinking of the pink instead of the green, but must admit that your choice madevbetter color sence. Thanks for the free pattern and your generosity. Calling from South Africa.
I love the way you teach quilting you are wonderful and I watch your videos every night keep up with the videos and the teaching and again thank you for all you’ve done for people who have a passion for quilting.
Love your videos. I look forward to every new one. I prefer the pink border.
Yes ! I just love to watch n admire her nails with beautiful colours n textures ! Every colour suits her very well !
Saya sudah lihat bermacam2 video Ibu..pertama saya takjub lihat ruang kerja Ibu lengkap sekali peralatannya..nyaman bikin betah..kedua pribadi Ibu ramah tidak pelit ilmu..yg ketiga..boom..karya2 Ibu luarbiasa sangat indah perpaduan corak dan warna serasi..saya suka dan ingin mencoba..terima kasih Ibu atas inspirasinya
I thoroughly enjoy all your tutorials. I was on the Green team for the border on this one too. Those nails of yours are very rock n' roll!
Love your choice of colours. I think the green was the best choice, and I love how you used the pink on the back. I love, love LOVE the sunflower boarder. It turned out beautiful as usual.
Love your videos Ms Donna! Not sure why but there is a feeling of satisfaction EVERY TIME I hear your rotary cutter cut!
Thank you for the ironing tips! That’s something I needed to hear. I would love more ironing tips as it always is a challenge when you have to iron blocks that are heavily pieced
Love your tips and techniques! Love the green border and pink binding and back. Maybe one day you can instruct us on color choosing. 😅
Thank you for the pattern and the lessons. I`m a beginner quilter just putting the binding on my second quilt, which is your Balancing Act quilt! `(Great advice to print off the pattern as that as been very helpful to refer to.) It`s my son`s graduation quilt made with sunset coloured batiks, a sand coloured wide flannel backing with a swirly design that I machine quilted with my regular foot doing loose waves every second row. I`m calling it `Sunset on the Beach: A Balancing Act Quilt by Joanna Jordan. Thank you very much for these videos and patterns as they are extremely helpful to beginners like myself. I just got the sewing machine in December and hadn`t sewed since grade 8 in 1974, so seeing a confident quilter like yourself at work everyday is inspirational. Thank you!
Really loved the pink... but I think you made the right choice with the green. I had an "oh wow" moment when you showed the quilt finished with the pink binding. Don't think it could have turned out more perfect! Love the give away quilt too!!
Donna, you are a very talented teacher! Thank you
I ordered the strip tube ruler a week or so ago from y'all; now I really can't wait to try it. The quilt is beautiful!
Donna looks so cute in that kimono! I love that black manicure with the sparkly accent nails.
I love exactly how you made the tea time quilt. I just love the pink backing and edging. Donna, you are so good at explaining and making the quilts for us to understand. I am new to this kind of quilting and have learned so much from you. And yes, I love your nails too. Thanks so much for sharing with us and for your giveaways. I look forward to your emails and videos and seeing what you are doing next. Keep them coming. Love and Blessings ❤️😘🤗
I made this for my king size bed. I did every middle strip in white which meant that every square either had white on the outside or in the centre. Very pretty
Such a beautiful quilt Donna. Thanks so much for sharing your enthusiasm and skills with us. My confidence is growing since watching your videos.
I love your videos (just starting out here) but the only problem I have is that I'm sure we all don't have that multi-thousand dollar quilting machine, we have to use a sewing machine.... would love to see one done that way....
I have to admit, I do like the green border better, but I’m glad you ised the vibrant pink on the back and binding. This is a wonderful pattern, Donna. Thanks for sharing it with us!
I really enjoyed watching this video. It's good for using up all those leftover strips from other quilts and a great stressbuster after a long day at work... Just sew a few strips and you're ready to go! Thanks, Donna.
NAMASTE G. I rarely comment any video but today I can't stop myself doing so. Each and everything like your dress way of talking smiling is very nice. Your pattern is also easy and nice.
I like the green border, it’s so colourful I love ❤️ you are such a nice lady. and an amazing teacher Thank you for the lovely videos 🙏
Thanks so much for another easy pattern that is FREE! The three different quilts each looked so different because of colors and designs in fabric. Really liked the green one. Really enjoy your enthusiasm and showing us from start to finish! Keep them coming!
Hi Donna, another fabulous video - just love love love the GREEN one you made a while ago - that is just beautiful! Thats the type of colour combo that I would choose...... I would just love a visit to your store - but a bit far to come from Australia! Oh well - videos are gonna have to do!
I"m glad you went with green for the inner border. The pink is very pretty, but I think the green enhanced the quilt colors best!
I love the green quilt...I think any color family would be beautiful. Thanks, Donna!
Thank you for the great idea to use my new ruler. I bought one because you use it a lot. I'm going to make the tea time quilt as soon as possible. Love your tutorials, they are easy to watch and very informative.
Brilliant quilt. And the other two you showed are really lovely. That tube ruler is magic. Thanks for showing. Your videos just make my day. 🌻
Always a pleasure watching you put together another fabulous quilt. I loved the green quilt, am definitely going to put that on my list of ‘to do’ sewing. Thank you Donna for your time and effort.
I am glad you chose the pink fabric for the back. The quilt looks great! Thank you for your fun tutorial!
Madam ,,, i really enjoy watching ur tutorials , u encouraged me to learn more about quilting , which i love , as i watched u sewing im dreaming that quilt are mine 😊
Love all your tutorials! Thank you for this one because I am thinking of this for my grandson. I am thinking of it with green and blue color theme. I too love to see Donna's fingernails.
When I make this quilt, I will divide my strip sets into two groups. The first group I would cut with the seam at the bottom, & the second set with the fold at the bottom so I don't mess up the cutting. I chose the green border as my favorite, too. I love the pink binding. Great tutorial and lots of helpful tips. I LOVE your giveaway quilt today because I love 30s prints. Thank you & happy quilting!
So much fun to see you again, and watch you quilt. So inspiring. I do so love that Trellis quilt. Crossing my fingers here.
