Donna, can you please thank whomever does your filming. You are SO good at explaining everything simply and organized...but I'm also so impressed by the camera work! The lighting is spot on and they always film EXACTLY where I would want to look if I was standing there. It makes it so easy to see what you're explaining! As always, love the quilt - love the video!!!!! Thanks!!!

Thank you for making quilts patterns that minimize complicated instructions, utilize time and fabric efficiently (no templates or cutting diagrams that look like home building blueprints) yet we end up with beautiful quilts that look like they were more difficult to make than they were! Appreciate tutorials too! About to make this one in Christmas fabric from Jordan’s 😊

Oh Donna, what an absolutely gorgeous and fun quilt. I have never considered that these two characteristics could be in the same work of art. Your creativity and talent has most definitely made that happen in this beautiful Irish Chain Link quilt. The fabrics and colors you chose are so exciting, delightful arrays of fabulous color that are balanced, harmonious and spectacular. And then... just when I thought your creative achievement had fulfilled its full measure you unveiled a joyful surprise. What a perfectly imaginative, playful and truly beautiful backing you choose! Hearing you say that you thought you would take this quilt home for your bed made me happier..You are working ai hard to help us all. I'm so glad you are keeping this special quilt, designed and made in all ways by you. This quilt will bring joy to you and Matt daily. We all wish you an abundance of joy, health, happiness, and prosperity. Shadow boxes is an exquisite quilt. Giving it as a gift to one of your followers is so incredibly generous. Above and beyond. God bless. Sincerely, Anita Jonsson

Ok, I have now watched this tutorial about 8-10 times I want to make 3 of these. Both of our children have wedding anniversaries on the same day as my husband and Mine - 06-07. Ours was in 1980, our daughter's in 2008 and our son's was this past summer in 2021. Also, our last name is Kelly - obviously Irish, and my daughter's last name is now Linder. His family has both German and Irish relatives.
Thank you SO much Donna for these tutorials and free patterns. I hope to send you a picture of at least the 2 I make for my kids by this summer 2022.

Out of all of the hundreds of quilting tutorials on UA-cam, I love Donna's the best! She makes it light, fun, and energetic. Whoever does the editing does a fantastic job. Her tutorials are always a fraction of the time of others, but you are never left with any unanswered questions. Many others, like Shar Jorgenson's, are better than sleeping pills if you are having trouble sleeping, which is ashame considering how talented, and experienced, she is. She should take some teaching lessons from Donna! Thanks Donna! You make quilting so much fun, and after I watch one of your tutorials, I feel like I can master even some of the more difficult designs. You break everything down so that your gorgeous quilts seem obtainable for just about anyone. Thank you!
