Crimping a 4/0 cable lug

In a van build, you are likely going to have to crimp lugs onto large size cables. Here is a demonstration of how to strip the sheath, crimp a lug, and heat shrink a 4/0 (4 ought) size cable.

I see you are using a point or indent style die in your crimper. Do you prefer those, or the hexagonal style dies? Just asking

Hi Carlos. The lug you need will vary depending on your use case. For example, this is a 4/0 lug for 3/8" stud. a.co/d/g7Yx04A
