I like the guitar ok and I know it's a little thing but I hate the gray tuner buttons and truss rod cover, why they just don't use chrome I don't know.
You know, it's ok. Better than some of my MIM strats sound wise & not as good as others. I am keeping it for the time being as it is just fun to play & it does offer a pinch different tone. Appreciate you dropping by.

Hi, Mr. T/Tbone! I'll add a brief comment in my next strat video. To sum it up quickly. Some of my player level strats play far better, others not. Same with the tone. THis sounds better then the basic player strat with Alnico 5's. But(1),,, like my Red one which has the fat 50's pups, sounds far better than this or the standard players. BUT(2),,,, a dealer friend told me they are closing out the regular Player right now for a new improved one that is coming out shortly.
Nice review of a pretty cool guitar brother. I have a kinda love hate relationship with PRS (my custom 24 was the only guitar I've ever sold, I got back what I paid for it so cant complain) They're very nicely built guitars but just something about em I cant explain that just cant connect with (maybe kinda sterile ifthat makes sense? ) Anyways, gonna try and put some finishing touches on our latest track this weekend and get it finished (been too long on the desk ;) ) All the best brother 👍✌😎
Hey, Mark. It has been hit & miss with me too at times. Sold my old American Standard. I hated those early rotary knob ones. It sounded great but really needed some work. Early, early SE's drove me goofy with the whammy. They just could not stay in tune. Look forward to our next. Let me know if you run into any problems.
That does look like a goody for sure. Have to educate myself on Mr. Grissom & get caught up in this world. That said it looks very much my like my American Standard I use to have, I got interested in them because my guitar hero of old was Bugs Henderson, a very early PRS endorser. Hi, Steve. GTSY. Yeah def takes some getting used to. They do seem very solid but yeah, in the end I would prefer chrome too.

try the DGT model. Its fantastic and just has that character. nothing steile about it. both the SE and core are great.
