- This is Fiesta Red. My Canon camera seems to saturate the red tones.
I could not find other "Player" models with the roasted maple. So I am guessing that is also part of the "Limited" offer. & yes, Sweetwaters version is in Seafoam Green. MF in Surf Green.
So how does this compare to the Silver Sky SE? Hmm, I think it's a mixed bag. This guit actually plays maybe a pinch better. I think the Silver Sky SE has a pinch better QC overall but not by that much. In the end, I like the sound of this one ,,,, a pinch more. I like the neck on this one,,, by another pinch! There are actually a lot of pinches here & there on both of them. I'm not fond of the vibrato on either.

Hi, Dar! Hope your New Year is going well! I should try that, The regular springs are short but heavy duty. I bet I could find something similar at the hardware store. I got the fender ones which were a bag of 12 for???? 7.95 as I recall. So now I have to but another 11 strats to use all the springs up. Well, gotta do whatcha gotta do!

Hi GV, Happy New Year🎉. I have a similar one only tobacco sunburst, also has a beautiful roasted maple neck, custom shop fat ‘50s. It just plays so nice, most guitars come and go but I will never sell this one, but it wasn’t perfect, I didn’t like the tremolo, I like to play surf music and it was no bueno for that, I put a Hipshot on and the difference is night and day, sustain is muy bueno also.

I see now the prices have at some places gone back up to regular Player Prices. & Yep again. The Fiesta Red just grabbed me.

Looks more like Dakota red in that light , Fiesta is more on the orange side.
Yea, others have said that as well. Every one talks about how great Canon color science is. With these Canon M cameras, it seems to change red tones dramatically. Fiesta red has almost a slight faded look to it & well,,, it just doesn't show up here. It's for sure Fiesta. Thanks for dropping by.

Hi again, Jonny. I think it is the camera playing tricks. The Cherry red is quite bright red. The Fiesta (this one) is sort of a flatter looking red. This def. has the flat red look about it.

Small music stores cannot sell Fender guitars to their beloved customers for a reasonable price. Fender, and all other corporate instrument manufacturers have removed their most reliable honest, and knowledgable sales associates. A limited edition Strat likely has 45,000 twins.
LOL, 45,000. As I mentioned, all the other big box stores have it too, but each in different colors. I talked to my bud in Scotland & he said they had the same guitars being sold all over the place there (UK). He didn't mention what colors but,,,,, you can imagine, it's all similar. & like my seafoam green strat, they didn't offer it that specific year. It was a one off more or less. A year or 2 later it was out as a standard issue. So when I said, "Barely Limited," I sus that is the case. & yeah the small shops are having to tough it out. Thanks for the visit. Appreciate it.
I’m always puzzled about the “sound” of a guitar on You Tube . The amp and its settings are unknown variables. In this case at least I know it’s a Champ.
& more!!!! My camera has its own compression built it. So when or if I crank it up, it automatically squashes the sound. & all amps being so different doesn't help either. The champ tends towards bass heavy so I often set the bass to like 2 or 3 & the treble at noon. The EBand is all over the place. Thanks for dropping by, Gene. & a Happy New Year to you.
