Great job as always.
I've watched many of your videos and haven't seen the roller. Can you explain that to me please?
you make me love my job..so, its "A BIGGEST THANK YOU" from BORNEO..
Damn that is cool to hear. thank you for commenting.
Good Video as always.
Just noticed the screen is ripped at 11:00
This is pretty cool. I don't screen print anymore but I love what you're doing and subscribed!
Thanks Andres. I'm glad someone outside of the industry likes it.
POLY INK- Unions COSMIC POLY INK is pretty good. I use it on my auto.
i like ....
Tried wet on wet the other day for a 6 color job and it turned out great. Tried again on a 3 color job and was all smeared and the inks had a wierd texture once all inks had been printed. Wondering now if I simply messed something up in the beginning and should have wiped everything down to try again. Any advice?
can't wait for the water based video that will be cool.
great vlog cam! cant wait for that wb 4 color experiment. i just got a 4x4 press and was wondering myself how many shirts i can print before the ink starts to dry. im a one man army so this will be very helpful! keep up the great work cam!
Thanks man, Yea I hope It turns out well, The print production videos are the hardest to shoot.
I didn't learn how to Screen Print wet-on-wet? ha ha ha Good video though.
Yea sometimes its just good ol fashioned click bait.
What is the roller deal you roll on the shirts after being placed on pallets?
So which do you like printing on? The Sidewinder, or the Thunder?
They a very similar presses, in function, but the thunder is way lighter the throw the pallets and screen, during longer runs that is a huge deal. I also like the micros on the thunder better, however I acknowledge that my sidewinder was old and beat to shit so its not a fair comparison.
Thank you for the video...im wondering if the wet on wet build up on the screen becomes a problem and what you can do about it. Simply wiping it off doesnt clean it good enough. Do you have any more advice on that?
I'm not the best with wet on wet. The best advice is to test everything for yourself. With that said the higher the mesh count the lower the deposit of ink. This results in less build up on the bottom of the screen. That is a good place to start. from there try cleaning the build up dry and see if it leaves residue for you when you print. If it does try using plastisol press wipe, and see how bad the residue is with that. Lately we have been using press wipes, they are similar to baby wipes but for plastisol ink. Works soooo good.
It's The CamMan, With an Oldie but Goodie 👍 Vlogs like yours are why printers and customers hang out with Ths Print Life Fam.
Cool "Cameos" (pun intended) 😎
Hey whats good, i'm Richard from the Bahamas and i started my printing company and i find your videos very helpful. it's really a struggle for me because we don't have any company here that sells any screen printing supplies and it's very expensive to keep up with these big companys. Keep up the good work.
Cam ***** Please explain the exhaust fan at the door????????????????????????????????????????
Hi I'm new in screen printing, can i use any type of silicon spray on wet on wet printing that's available in amazon uk.
What size are your pallets when is a XL tshirt did you change it for a bigger one? I have a order for small tshirts to XL can I use same size logo?
CAM.. at the end. You pulled in your shop some sort of exhaust fan, is that your your conveyor dryer? If so, can you explain that exhaust setup.. and it's all good if you can't. I need to exhaust my dryer somehow.
yea it the only way we could ventilate the shop without poking a hole in the wall.
Oh ok. Thanks this might be solution for me, I can't be poking holes in the garage.
Where do u get the music from bro I just want some for working out 😂 thanks for all the tips
Bummer on the ink seizing
my friend
Hi, I am from Moscow, Russia. I have been watching your videos and must tell you that they are really helpful. I am very new in printing business and have an 16 station 6 color oval automatic machine. I have some issues with registration and drying of inks. Can you help.
Holy shit all the way from Russia. How cool is youtube. Thank you for watching and more importantly commenting. I will do more vids on registration issues just for you.
That's the first time I've seen a press that let's two people print at the same time! What brand is that?
yea it the anatol Legend with M&R adapters, Its a great press.
Bud, it's an Antec Legend, great press. I gots meself one too.
that store boy looking like Indian. :-)
dont throw the press away SHIP IT TO ME!! lol
20 inch wide screens are NOT really wide enough on a SIDEWINDER or any other press with 16 inch wide pallets. Many times the side arms are rubbing on the edges of the pallets underneath causing the screens to be nudged out of register. The screen frames need to be 22 inches wide. Call me crazy! I've been crazy for 31 years learning all of these glitches.
interesting note. We use auto sized screen but I never thought about that it would also rub the shirts.
By poaching you mean that they're seeing your clients and offering them better deals than you?
Yea, just undercutting to get the client.
Dicks
Pretty shitty someone would snake work out from under you. A cut throat industry I'm finding, it's hard enough to find work but to straight steal someone's work is real dirtbag stuff!! Well lesson learned i suppose.
Dont let it scare you. Just be aware of it.
