T-shirt screen printing record shattered by M&R Challenger III D J4 automatic screen printing press

- Screen printer Omar Viera used M&R's new Challenger III D J4 Automatic Screen Printing Press to set a new world record of 2139 T-shirts printed in one hour by a single operator. The event took place on June 28 at FESPA 2013 in London. The result eclipsed the previous record (also held by Mr. Viera) by 230 T-shirts. Other M&R screen printing equipment contributing to the record attempt were the Passport Automatic T-shirt Unloader and Fusion electric conveyor dryer.
Rich Hoffman, M&R's CEO, said, "In 2010, Omar proved he was an elite screen printer. And we knew we had a phenomenal automatic screen printing press in the concept Challenger III D J4. But we also knew everything would have to go perfectly for Omar to set a new world record in London-much less to shatter the old record the way he did today. However, even if you have all the elements necessary for success, an otherwise minor glitch can leave you short of your goal. To borrow a phrase from the sports world, 'It's why they play the game.' Fortunately, it all fell into place."
Hoffman went on to thank Jon Weiss, founder and CEO of the New Buffalo Shirt Factory, for making it possible for Omar to compete; Gildan for providing high-quality T-shirts; Wilflex for providing exceptional screen printing ink; Mitsubishi for their superior servo drives and exceptional support; the people at M&R behind the design and manufacture of the new Challenger III D J4 automatic textile press; the outstanding M&R support staff at FESPA 2013; and especially Omar for another amazing performance.

VERY impressive.. but this is not ONE operator. someone is opening the shirts for him. someone is feeding shirts to that person. and someone else was spraying adhesive.
very impressive regardless !
A single operator with support workers and an auto unloader. Our single operators on our presses, have to load their tables, open and load their own shirts and unload their own shirts.
@@robcrowderdesigns5406thats what I do ...
Thats insane!!...that dude is a much a machine as the actual press....i noticed one pallet got printed on.
Actually this machine has a "no-shirt sensor" that prevents it from printing on the pallets, maybe they used that pallet for registration before applying the adhesive. At the end when he was tired he missed quite a few pallets.
i am also a oprator and i also can do this...
thank you........
good job omar
what is the cost of this machine and how can we buy it from Nepal?

Omar.... ❤️
Make 1$ profit per shirt and he just made 2000$+ in one hour. Amazing!
We like the way you think, giinnocenti!
And I like the equipment!
BRAVO !
m&R tha best printing machine
shit. Im a tshirt loader and i honestly dont think i could do half what hes doing. I print on the sportsman ex and my max is about 950/hr and I dont even like printing that fast.
You can do a hair more than 1,000 an hour on a pneumatic sportsman. I've personally done it. This is impressive, but not realistic. He has two people opening shirts for him. I'd like to see him truly print solo and only have the helpers push a cart of shirts to him.
i agree. quality over quantity!
But I will say M&R are top of the line in the business!
So bad ass
Haha, a lot of big talkers on here talking about how they can smoke Omar's record. Step up and be recognized then. Of course it's easy to beat Omar from behind your laptop, screenprintinting tough guys, lol.
You're a funny bastard.
I’m coming for that record !
Probably not coffee pot
Wow..! I just love this... Brings back memories... I'm 56 years old and I want to go back to screen printing. Always loved fast printing production... Beautiful!!!
Wow!! I got sore just watching! Gonna go take to advil - LOL!
Impressive. But how long can ya keep that pace? I've done this job for 20 years and never seen anything like that.
I've been doing it 20 years as well and I can load a shirt like that but the customer would refuse it because the print is crooked and in different places and someone is opening the shirts for him So thats not fair
And the ink has to be thin as water and the dryer must hauling ass
That's 35.65 shirts per minute!!! WOW. Im doing like 1 shirt every 35.65 minutes LOL
Not even a bottle of water they gave to Omar..shit..after a while he got tired and nobody did helped him..

Por muy rápido que llegue a correr con la máquina grabar una camiseta no podemos poner 5 sueldos de personas que costó tendrá grabar una camiseta fantástico video
Una jornada de 8 horas para el metedor seria agotador ya me canse nomas de ver
I really want to see loading and unloading by one person.
David Sinclair I print by myself. I put on and off and open my own shirts. I can get it to 5.5 seconds putting on and off. with a person pulling off for me I got to 2.5 seconds. but this guy is very good. but I would love to see them make him do the shirts by himself also.
Imma a beast,my boss thinks I'm crazy. Florida heat sucks
I've been a screen printer for 20 years. The video is impressive however that speed every day all day isn't sustainable for anyone. Videos like this give business owners unrealistic expectations. As for me I can do up to 3 thousand a day with an under base and one flash everything else running wet in an 8 hour shift and that's back breaking in itself by the end of the day. However if the image is long the stroke will take time and honestly if you don't have a perfect situation as far as squeegees, pressure etc. well that will slow you down also. Can't do that everyday. And that is without the help of someone opening the shirt for me. Some materials like to stick together like the blend tee shirts. They're straight trash to work with and slow you down. When I'm running fast several end up on the floor from sticking as I pull. M&R presses are the best to work with, wilflex is the best plastisol ink and Gildan is a great product also. Put all three of those together and you have a perfect combination as long as the press is functioning well pallets have good off contact and the operator knows how to get things going and up to speed. I've been in several shops that either knew what they were doing or did not know much of anything at all. It's the latter that is a problem. Some shop owners have Managers in there that don't know what they're doing which will also slow down the entire process because they want to run a 6 color wet burned on 158 with a 110 under base. It's starts with the film and mesh. If you don't get it right in those departments you'll see the issue on the floor in production. BTW squeegees matter.😭😤
Just had a M&R tech out to my shop last night to do some fine tune adjustments on my Diamondback after six months. This company really stands above everyone else for service. Their techs know what they are doing and will do whatever it takes to make sure you are happy with your investment. Great company Rich - I'll only spend my money with you guys.
Same here If you hold the shirts for me I will smoke Omar's record. And I will step up to the pallets any day(because I do every day), travel costs on me, as well.
It’s complete garments done ok but if it’s cut fabrics then let us know the results
Omar was phenomenal, but he was definitely tired after a whole hour of pushing it to the limit. No argument there.
Да, один оператор... Ну... И ещë пять человек в помощь 😉
lame!!! how about one person loading and pulloff no help from no one
Great video. Did anyone notice the Gildan sticker / print on the inside of the t-shirt? That must be a guide so he knows where the center of the t-shirt are? I know it would help me if it was centered. Nice work.
Kaules Screen Works Sharp eyes! That sticker was for tagging/branding on the shirts after they left the hall for their various donation locations, but it certainly helped that it was centered.
Give that man a raise
Man, that's so bad for you printing, like that 8hrs a day 5 days a week. Get some abs and eventually a mean KO punch from that repetition.
This is great. I’m fast too. How do I get a try?
You guys using 4 people what’s the point 😂
thanks God they change the caption saying their machine and 1 man crew...coz obviously its a lot more crew doing their job there. BTW i like the machine and how fast Omar feeds the shirt. not mentioning those two man helping Omar, piling and opening the shirt. Good Job! M&R
hallo i'm from indonesia.
amazing work
Quality and quantity you should know that
Him n my co worker should race lol
NICE WORK
That would be one heck of a lot of pizzas!
You should have to grab the shirt by yourself… that’s half the battle when loading shirts
wow very well done omar! let me hire this man
How much is the price
That dude pushing the tshirts who broke the record, not the machine 🤔
wow! that's nuts and I thought 200 shirts was a lot! lol
How straight qre those shirts
The real machine here is the guy who puts the t-shirts for printing. That's the real deal...:)
If I had a machine that was as quick as this, there's absolutely no doubt in my mind I could come pretty close to this record. No, I'm not tooting my own horn. I just know how fast I can load shirts. There's some things going for Omar with this particular record. 1; from what the video show, it looks like every shirt is the same size which makes loading them the same way every time very easy after the second shirt. 2; he's loading the back of the shirt (which if you're a screen printer, you know loading the back of a shirt, especially one that 'fits' the platen/pallet the way a medium or large does, it basically loads itself. 3; there looks to be some sort of tag on the shirt so he knows it's loaded straight. and lastly, 4; he has someone opening the shirt for him so when he turns, the shirt is ready for him in the same spot every single time. I'd love to try this and see where I'd be.
+Briandrum I agree 100% i think i could come close to this record also given the aids he has. with all different types of shirts and half ass stacked by my coworkers i can print at 950/hr.
I used to work with Omar at new buffalo shirt factory he's a very good loader
next time use some adhesive tape on corners of tables ...
omar in the fire yeahhhhh
I can beat that ..I'm a press operator here in indiana. I run a m&r all day long
I really wanna try
QUE BARBAROS! ESOS OBREROS SON MAQUINAS AUTOMATICAS TAMBIEN.
I’m also pretty sure we have two of these same machines.
Hello Manducon - No, the Passport auto-unloader is a product that we've been selling for more than 15 years.
That's a cool number of shirts put on the pallets in an hour... And a nice way of exhibiting the machine.
But as for the record itself, it is only just that. A record. Something just for the books.
It is an unsustainable speed, both for the machine and the person.
Keep that up for two hours straight, and his back will be worse than mine doing a manual 2-colour print on 750 tshirts in three times as long.
I love screenprinting, it is an awesome skill to have. But the soon eight years I've logged doing that (single user, manual printing, mon-fri, 7-16) is also the reason my back is done already at 45 years of age.
You do 750 T-shirts per day?
@@SurajSinghTomarArya 😆😆 Omar better watch out
it's a very nice job c vrement du jolie
What is the yellow machine / attachment in front of him on the press? Is that some sort of censor?
+CityFitted That is the scanner-based safety system. It won’t allow the press to index when it senses people or objects in its field of view.
Gostei da produção ...
E o preso do brinquedo ?
Teria assistência técnica no Brasil ?
