I am stage 4CR,diagnosed stage 3 with zero symptoms , 13 years ago, and can attest to the fact that zero nutrition guidance as benefiting cancer survival ,besides just eat anything as long as you get enough calories, was imparted to me. I discovered Dr Li by chance on UA-cam, bought and devoured his Eat to beat disease book, and am a fan, and cannot thank him enough!

My sister is 65 and very unhealthy, Has long covid and Now dealing with multiple myeloma . Her Doctor told her she can eat what she wants and she can eat sugar. She loves chocolate , but Not Dark Chocolate. I have been encouraging her to eat healthy ( eat a kiwi , bule berries every day) ... and to stop eating fast foods & Processed foods .She is trying to cook her own food eating more fresh foods and fruits. 👍They have her on chemo & another strong drug .Im hoping her eating these food will help her fight this disease. I truly appreciate the informative content you put out there for the general public. Thank you Dr. Li 🤗

These doctors are not trained nutritionists. They told my mother in law the same and now she's dead.
Eat real food and seriously consider the ketogenic diet. Please look at the work of Professor Thomas Seyfried.

From my experience (had cancer) Dr's & surgeons really Don't like it if you become A recovering Sugar Addict. One surgeon told be I was an idiot for beating my sugar (Chocolate) addiction, then tries for.the next 10 mins luring me back into eating it. Nothing but an utter bully and person of evil ness of another level.

I do not have cancer. I am 82 and decided that I would rather be really careful about my diet, etc. if I had to be so old in order to be healthy. So I went to see a functional medicine Doctor Who put me on a six month protocol, and first measured a lot of bodily things with functional medicine testing. One of the things that she found I was lacking was Akermansia! So I actually took a pill, non-prescription, recommended by her that contains it. My six months is up and in a couple of months, she recommended that I retake the functional medicine testing to see what else said, changed in my micro biome.

Dear Dr. Li! I would love to purchase your book 'Eat this to Fight Disease' as an E-Book. On Amazon I have only seen an Audible version and the beautiful hard or spiral covers, which I can't get, as I'm in Egypt; audible is not bad, but I like reading taking notes and so on.. Your elaboration on the mechanism of action regarding certain foods is not only highly interesting, but very valuable to me, as I'm self-treating an illness. I yet haven't found a doctor for who is willing to leave his path of standard treatment or considering significant dose adjustments. Please tell me: Is your book available as an E-Book too?

I would suggest to ask ChatGPT the following questions :
-- What is the current scientific understanding of the health implications of consuming fructose-rich fruits?
-- What are the top 20 fructose-rich fruits?
-- What are common methods used in laboratory settings to culture cancer cells? Are sugars or egg white typically used as growth media?
-- How can cancer cells be labeled with a radioactive tracer to make them glow and visible during a PET scan? Can sugar-based solutions be used for this purpose?
-- Is there evidence to suggest that a ketogenic diet, which reduces carbohydrate intake and increases fat intake, has beneficial effects on brain health?
-- What is the germ theory of disease? Do microorganisms, such as bacteria and viruses, primarily rely on fruits and sugars for their growth and survival?

My grandma just got diagnosed with cancer. She has lost her appetite and sometimes can't hold food down. I've always heard it's good to fast to starve cancer. I don't think she fasts much though because she drinks juice and I just don't think her fasting window is that large despite the fact that she doesn't eat much. And because she's 85, I worry that she's not getting proper nutrition. Because of her age, she's not even getting proper help from doctors. She was diagnose in the beginning of July and has still not getting any treatment yet other than pain killers... I don't know how to help her

Maybe you find the answer on Dr.Thomas Sexfried concept!? He suggests to starve cancer by eating ketogenic diet (low carb with moderate protein and higher fat intake) and to starve the cancer by lower bloodglucose and glutamin with partial fasting in between eating good healthy foods. Look it up: Dr.Thomas Seyfried and a nurtionist and one of his Team Members Miriam Kalamian. But do not start fasting or ketogenic without further research and spaking to your doctors. Because it is very important not to loose too much weight while suffering from high advanced cancers,. I wish you all the best.

Heart disease is the number one killer of people today and cancer is number two.
Being over weight is the number one factor leading to an early death.
People who are over weight have higher risks for high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
Even children today have signs of artery disease. Fast foods and sugary drinks have long term consequences.
There is an obesity epidemic today where over 60% of the population is overweight or obese.
What is common today and "NORMAL" is not healthy. The average person today is not healthy and is taking medications.
Heart attacks were once only common in people over 65. Today people in their 40 are having heart attacks.
Add more plants and vegetables to your diet and less junk and overly processed foods

Immunotherapy is still relatively new & doesn't work on all cancers which 8s why itnot yet fully available. Even the ones it does help, it doesn't help everyone. I've just finished 25 months of fortnightly immunotherapy for stage 4 metastatic melanoma (including tumours in brain & elsewhere) & was lucky enough to be one of the 20% who it worked really well & quickly for. They're learning more all the time though & expanding its use. I was told my positive attitude was a big factor in helping it work. My extra stroke of luck is that i'm Australian & was fully covered by our Medicare, so I canbsafely say my years of paying taxes was worth it.
