Brilliant video I know the last time I was there recently it was muddy and they had some of the route blocked by the forestry commission. Such a beautiful place though and like you say a nice relaxed walk 😊
@@EddieSkelson oh yeah for sure they add a whole new dynamic and I think some of the images in poor weather look amazing I love all the greenery I can't walk past a mossy tree or wall without taking a pick ☺️.
Looks like they have made some improvements to the car park. I hope this Amey woman replaces the wooden bridge like for like to fit in with the environment. A good capture of this popular walk. Even in the hail and rain.💪
Hi Eddie I've only visited this location twice in the Autumn a couple of years ago and loved it. I definitely plan to return this Autumn. The last time I visited it was the same weather ☔ ☔ ☔ I noticed you're very close to 1k subs 😊
I was really enthusiastic about trying this 'walk' (I put that in inverted commas on purpose, because I can't! lol) and then at about 3.31 secs into the video, you mentioned steps! 😏😏 It's not your fault. You're able-bodied. I'll forgive you 😁😁
The path I indicate at the start might be worth investigating, you can go right along the brook, but not by the side of it. You can access the reservoirs too. I’ll take a look at what else can be accessed from there next time I visit as Yatesy and myself will be doing a proper photography run soon.
@@EddieSkelson Thanks Eddie. I appreciate that. I'm always on the lookout for accessible places, especially places where you still feel like you're in the middle of nowhere even though you might not be! 😄😄
When did you film this? I was up Stanage Edge yesterday, it was freezing in the morning, mad windy and then very warm by lunch. On the drive home it through it down crazy.

Cheers Jim, it was a fantastic walk. I think the shocking conditions added to the whole adventure.

Special FX like that don’t come cheap, Bilbo.

It’s a lovely short walk (although you can extend it) and the compositions you’ll catch are well worth the trip.
Nice one..
Thanks 😊
