I have a 2005 5.9 and changed injectors . I bought bosch +15% injectors and studded the head at same time. Bought my injectors through DDP and their ad said I should get 1 to 2 MPG better. I went from 22-23 MPG to 12.7 and man was I disappointed. Then I spoke to probably the most knowledgeable guy I ever spoke to for many reasons. He asked what my truck got when it was new and I remember specifically I bought the truck new one day and left Boise next day and drove to the east coast. I got 11.5 the first day and saw it slowly and steadily climb till about 100,000 mi. where I got 22-23. So I have driven 28,000 mi. since new injectors and have gone from 12.7 to 19 so what he said made sense. If I end up with anything better than what I got before I will be tickled pink, red and yellow.
nice info, just bought 175hp sac injectors for my 01. i went from 17 to 14-15mpg. I should have went with 100hp injectors. but the acceleration is a huge difference as well with the fuel..
Hey I forgot to comment yesterday when I saw the video. 22 inch wheels are cool but I’d recommend a 20”. Hear me out. 22 inch tires are hard to come by meaning “if” you have a blow out most tire shops have to order tires of if you’re looking for a used tire on Craigslist or Facebook they are hard to find. 20” tires are more readily available. Just a thought. Keep up the good work on videos. 🤘🏼
I have 19.5 wheel Michelin xne2+ 285/70\19.5 tire I gained 3.5 miles per gallon on my 01 24v p pumped 6 speed I put 225,000 on these and recapped them with Oliver tread 27/32 tread best tire on the market ,if you tow allot.....
If you need to buy diesel and gas put the pump back let it cancel your transaction and then pull it out again it’ll tell you to pay put it back then it should take your card when’s for me
Chad Myers73 yeah I got my first Diesel truck last November and have yet to pay under 3.00 but it’s still cheaper then the mid grade I ran in my Ram Hemi and I get way better economy then my Hemi got.
Thanks for watching I have heard other people talk about that tuner but have never ran one. Make sure and watch my latest video I have a sticker give away going on now for subscribers.
What are your thoughts on the general grabbers... I had a pair of them once and the truck ate them, I don't think I got much more than 20,000 or 30,000 kilometers out of them!!
They weren’t to bad but I did pick them up use. Check out the other tire and rim video on my channel. Went a completely different direction. Thanks for watching!
@@ChadMyers73 - 👍 sounds good, considering options for mine now also... Not sure if I'm going to continue using my Ko2 or if I'm gonna change up and try a new set... I'll definitely hear ya out buddy.
@@ChadMyers73 Thank you Myers,,, this is what I did today,, I took my truck to the tire shop, fill 4 tires with nitrogen, front tires 50 psi, rear tires 80 psi.. full tank, I drove 130.2 miles.. at the end of the day I fill up the tank again.. it was 5 gallons and 3/4 of Diesel... I'm getting 22.6 mpg.. my question is what else should I do to get better mpg??
@@ChadMyers73 the same.. I drove the truck 6 hours 450 miles and I ended up with 3/16 of a tank left.. mine is all stock, wheels and injectors so it should give you like 480- 520 miles per tank...

Are those covers on your seats, re apolstered, or factory? They look great
Thanks man! They are factory it is the only 2 tone set I've ever saw.

Not really sure they were in the truck when I purchased it.
youre going to have a rougher ride if u go with 33x20. don't get a 10 ply tire get 8 ply , nicer ride.
wesley robson 10 ply is the only way to go. Well it is for me because I pull trailers.
California last month was $3.99
Bobby Dooby WoW! I just paid 2.49 yesterday here in Ohio.
2.65 ac nj
Manbir Bhatti Not to bad hopefully it will start coming down some more.
It’s 3.45 in upstate New York lmao
Hey Verde We have now dropped back below $3 and the and the barrel is only $51 a gallon figure that one out.
you're wrong that's not how u calculate
Tell us how it’s done.
If he has a 10% difference in tire, I don’t see what he did wrong. Please share.
@@PPGDV tire size is not how you calculate mileage, that person is correct, you use how many miles, an many gallons used to calculate.
