Agreed, this'll be so useful. I just hope it will not be so populated, I can't even get the quest.
I believe there are a few escort quests like this. As the long as the NPC does not die, you will get credit at the very end as long as you yourself are not dead. I've had escorts fail (the chicken escort comes to mind) even though the NPC made it but I was dead at the moment of escort completion.

They should bring this back. Made getting into some of these dungeons and raid feel like an accomplishment in an of itself .
honestly one thing i never could understand is why people complained about them. the attunements proved you were at least barely able to handle it. hell i got to revered with most factions just running the level 70 dungeons to get geared. then you're running the heroic dungeons anyway for badges. as to doing the raids, heaven forbid you have to do t4 to progress to t5 and so on
I enjoyed the quest chains to attune yourself to each of these raids. Really felt like you had what it took to get to where you wanted to be.
I remember trying to finish my Karazhan key and failing Black Morass with all the pick up groups I tried it with. Eventually the guild I would start raiding with helped with that last step and the rest was history.

An amazing addon, called Attune, keeps track of what you've not done, what you've started and what you've finished for everything.

For rep dungeon grinding early on in Hellfire I strongly recommend to spam BF and not Ramparts.
*EDIT:* "So a 24 minute furnace run is = to 15 min Ramparts for XPH - easier to keep from lockout with furnace." So doing BF gives you more XP as well as you level up.
Blood furnace also gives more rep when full clear
Great stuff! I didnt finish leveling my BE paladin during pre-patch so I'm getting caught up on everything in the next few days. Bonus points for the FFX Cloister of Trials music!

One tip for those on the horde side trying to get Shattered Halls attunement: I don't know if it's gonna work on TBC Classic, but on Atlantiss private server, we could kill the Fel Reaver by kiting it to the guards at Thrallmar. You only need to kite it for a short distance if you get it at the right spot. The guards are strong enough to easily mow down the Fel Reaver for you. You only need to use a quest item on it, therefore it doesn't matter if it doesn't drop loot. Keep in mind tho that getting some healing or/and having a friend with long ranged abilities will be still required (it hits like a truck for sure and slows when it pounds the earth), but it's still an easier way to kill it. I don't know if it gets close enough to Honor Hold though, so no idea if it's possible for the alliance.

ahh im soo pumped for tbc classic. most specs playable in some regard. its vanilla plus for sure. not to mention there are actual challenging fights compared to vanilla. i was in a top guild in tbc and it was so more engaging that any other point in wow history. the downside was that was also the height of min-maxing and guilds would stack so many classes to swap out on fights. i like that blizz is going more heavy handed this time around and making changes. like in tbc i went tailoring/leatherworking on a shaman just to maximize dps. now everyone doesnt have to roll LW and can be more free in choices. But even then, I worry about sunwell. I remember so many fights being class specific. Mainly things like brutallus being super hard for anything but warrior tanks, felmyst needing a ton of preists. hopefully those things will be adressed too.

This is definitely more useful for tbc classic than the old time warp video on the tbc attunements, but I do miss the play-by-play of the Cipher of Damnation quest line. I don’t think there’s anything you can do to help me keep Oronok’s sons’s names straight, but at least I know where Grand Commander Ruusk is.

I did SH on the beta the other day and everyone was able to loot the key.
I did dungeons in Hellfire Ramparts until I'm honored with Thrallmar and then started doing quests, but even with all the quests complete I still couldn't reach Revered and now need 3500 more rep. How can I get my rep to revered if I'm out of quests?
I know TBC is about to drop but I though you should know there are a few Star Wars Galaxies Emulation Servers active right now, the healthiest and most active server is called SWG Legends. Google it. Im having a blast in SWG waiting for TBC. lol

I remember how TBC was fun. I didnt have that much fun on Wotlk and i found that other new expansions were waste of time and not fun to play like TBC.

Hot dang! When I was a fresh high school graduate playing this game I thought it was awful having to trudge through all of this attunement stuff. Now that I am older I see that you have to do these things to get geared anyway, so it honestly just adds a bit of direction. And personally I think it looks way more exciting and fun than the retail method of just smashing mythics for gear so you can go back and smash more mythics. Looking forward to it, and thanks for all the useful info.

IMO attunements were removed because there was big issue with guilds just member poaching. having to re attune ONE person to fill a core role, was just insane.
Its a fundamentally flawed system.

Locking raids behind arbitrary tasks is so fun
I like em, to me they're a form of character progression that isn't tied to just gearing. Something to chip away at whenever you're not raiding/pvping or just want to mix things up
Imagine if they locked them behind the mage tower mechanic. The players would be much, much better.

@@brandoncastellano1858 Precisely, mage tower forced you to learn the ins and outs of your class in order to succeed and that's exactly why they should bring attunements back in that form. People would become better at their class and clear content faster and cleaner.

I stopped playing classic when my server was overrun by Horde, I never had a WoW experience previously but I made so many awesome memories playing classic, and almost always had one of your videos in the background. I still stop by now and then for that nostalgic voice of yours.
Stopped playing wow right when raiding started in cataclysm and haven't played ever since... Still watching MadSeasonShow videos for nostalgia :D
