Creating my own CYBERPUNK 2077 GIRL | Timelapse
Вставка
- Опубліковано 10 гру 2020
- I made my own model of a Cyberpunk girl based on the Cyberpunk 2077. Loving the aesthetic of the game and hyped it's out so I had some fun making a character in that universe. Made with Zbrush, Maya, Arnold, and Photoshop

If you want a longer version with commentary, hit like and comment on what you want to learn more about. If we get to 500 likes I’ll make another video
hi j hill pls teach us how to render in Arnold ( imean make a video of Arnold render from scratch ) we want to learn , thank u as always awesome video , and awssome translation effect at the end final presentation
hell yes! I would like yo see more about the clothing process. thanks for your videos man!
Thanks! I’ll for sure make an Arnold rendering tutorial of the fundamentals
Id like to learn more about the grooming & metal face texture, texture looks simple enough to accomplish with just masks but im eager to understand it better so a commentary would be great man 👍 PS is the hair xgen?
@@artofjhill and comment on what's your pc build too, please
When the options for creating your own V are not enough in Cyberpunk 2077:
Ummm my V female is hotter no cap lol what's up?!
@@kratosjunior817 that's awesome too
@@sugarpeprrr7532 Haahaha thanks Suge. You should see her man. She's not bad at all
Damn, with such skill you don't need real girlfriends, you can create your own
you cant fuck the monitor samir
@@ainz9812 oh he can 3d print it
@@ainz9812 Not with that attitude you can't.
@@averydesalvo3613 this made my day thank you

Thanos : all of this for just a one frame of render.
Just like any other form of still art bruh.
Drawing,painting,photography,etc.

Faster in photoshop:) !
Yes. Oh snap...Are you gonna snap?! Thanos?!
Came for dope art, stayed for tilled Keanu Reaves.
Hahaha
I was also surprised when Keanu Reaves transformed into shirt or something 😂
the keanu part was a funny touch lol
Haha yes! I was cracking up
MOAR KEANU
@@artofjhill you made a texture about keany's faces? I just don't understand what happen:)
I have so much respect for 3d artists it takes so much time and you can't predict beforehand how your actions now will pan out, so when you see something really good you know that person has put a lot of hours in his/her craft.
The not knowing how something will turn out can be the hardest part. I'm on vacation and have nothing else to do so I'm trying to make a complex render every single day, and the stress of all the hours pushing ahead even when the scene looks terrible in its crude early state is incredible. But somehow it always comes together in the end, even if it's not what I expected or as polished as I would have liked. But the stress is always there for like half the process, sometimes a whole lot more
@@maxgrey3694 bro I'm just getting into 3D art because i love art in general. When even it's agony during the making process, how are u still in love with it? I have mostly done 2D and enjoy it but 3D new to me. So wanna know ur thought on it
@@henrymasih6400 To be totally honest, there are plenty of times when I absolutely hate it. But I also have a habit of constantly trying to learn new styles (often with no tutorial) so I'm regularly putting myself in positions where idk wtf I'm doing so it's kinda stressful. But a lot of the time the results still look great after all the work so it's worth it.
If you're just getting into it as a hobby and want the process to be as relaxing and enjoyable as possible I'd recommend trying to dial in a specific style so you don't constantly feel lost technically and creatively. Once you're comfortable with a style you can branch out from there and gradually expand your skillset one part at a time.
But if you're still to early in the process to have a style I'd recommend you start by learning a simple style from another artist to get you comfortable with the fundamentals of the software so you can build up from there. The goal is to learn enough that you can experiment on your own and have fun because you aren't completely lost and actually have a chance of getting a cool render. Once you can do that you just build up from there and learn more about the program and what style(s) you'd like to work in.
I'd also recommend you do projects where you focus on a specific new skill rather than learning everything at once. If you know how to make everything else except that one element you know as soon as you get that breakthrough you can make it look good, which is a lot more motivating than having a big complex project with lots of things you don't know how to make yet.
If I'd followed the advice I just gave you my journey would have been a whole lot easier, so I hope this will be helpful!
@@maxgrey3694 i going to learn it to enter 3D industry my frnd,so I'm going pro and thanks for being genuine now i can process how it'll feel and how it's normal to feel weird sometimes. And i will take ur advice and work on it, enjoy every part do that i fall in love with it 😁
@@henrymasih6400 Glad I could help. Everybody gets frustrated sometimes, but I you push through it's worth it. Good luck!!!
At this point of realism, id just hire a model and photoshop the rest. You are a very talented 3D artist!
where's the fun in that :p thanks
THIS IS BREATHTAKING!!! 🔥🔥🔥
You are BREATHTAKING!!
@@SAFEZONE6 No! YOU ARE BREATHTAKING!
Unlike the game
Not really
@@Leaf-on NO YOU ARE BREATHTAKING !!!
OH MY GOD. I'm a 3D artist myself but I suck at sculpting and making characters, this is absolutely amazing!
Also, a tutorial on the skin would be awesome (sculpting the details and coloring/rendering)
thanks man. Keep modeling! I think a video like that would be helpful. Thanks
You should totally make a tutorial on the entire process of this. I would by it in a heartbeat! Great stuff.
Well, you can't really put something like this into a tutorial, it involves a lot of the stuff that you can't just learn without experience. And other stuff that takes a lot more than even a series of tutorials to learn and master.
@@nixellion Nope. He could literally hit "record" and show every step of the creation process.
@@douchymcdouche169 Mmm... Then it would not be a tutorial really. And it would be like a few days long video. If it was sped up. It would be helpful of course, watching others work is nice as you can pick up some tricks and workflows. But it would also not be a substitute for more in depth training and learning of all the disciplines required to produce such art. That's what I'm saying.
@@douchymcdouche169 if you don't know how he is doing this then you don't know why it can't be done like this, and trust me thre is like a 10 min explanation for every tiny step
@@nixellion Im sure you can learn over tutorials, its one of the best ways to learn. Jump in and get your hands dirty whilst you follow along, find simpler objects to model first though.
speachless. What i love about your art is that u dont overdo stuff. you keep it fairly simple without holding back on the creativity. u da real mvp!
Thanks man, appreciate it
Title should be: When the character customization is not as detailed as you thought.. xD
Damn. Bro this is amazing.
Doctor Strange: "Teach me."

The anatomy and shading/arnold render impresses me and I think the design + lighting is good. If you make another video, I'd like to see an anatomy one, maybe on female facial anatomy.
You're such a beast, man! WOW. Always love seeing this one come across my ZBrush screensaver.

I would like to learn more about the skin coloring!
same... did he just texture her with the materials in Maya or did he skip over that part entirely? possible a tutorial for the future? :D
@@just1it1moko I THINK he created some masks for the lips and eye shadows, brought them in (substance maybe? since he used it to texture the jacket) or painted them inside Maya and applied a Color Correction node (4:27)...hard to tell haha
@@just1it1moko Ah, found the answer in the comments!!
"The skin has SS and different parameters so I made a makeup material with its own properties and used a mask to add them both to a layered shader. Also had the eyeliner and lip gloss as additional layers to that shader. Lets me have all the control"
Incredible work! can't believe not more people subbed to you

I really want to get into this..then I see work this detailed and I'm like.. "but..should I thought??"
thank you man. you should do what you want to do. Don't focus on all the details, you just keep making stuff and learning things every day and eventually it will amount to a lot sometime down the road. If you can enjoy doing it, it will just happen in time.
while people struggle to even capture the accurate face simetri, look at this guy, what a badass expression she's got.
