There's no need to bother with a second channel - we'll watch whatever you feel like showing! I found your couch re-upholstery video from a while back super interesting. After hearing your chats from your car, I'm so happy for you that you eventually got to be your own boss and have more control over your time. Although I'm sure doing both Pattern Scout and UA-cam doesn't leave you with much time to be bored 😅 PS I'd love to see more makes/flips using your Lutterloh kit!
Ah thanks, Jolette! I would really love to share more of that kind of stuff...I have so many project ideas! And the lutterloh kit...I really want to try a pair of pants from that kit next.
I enjoyed chilling with you while you were shopping. It's like a nice peek over your shoulder on what kind of styles you like. Please post whatever your heart desires on here, I'll be sure to watch!
I love listening to your thought process on your thrift finds!! I loved your sofa recovering video so yes, doing home decor on this channel would be great! I can’t wait to see how you work on that Calvin Klein dress. Great job!!!
Thank you! So glad you enjoy it! And good to know about the home decor projects (that couch video is one of my most popular videos and I love how it turned out...sitting on it now!).
I bought my daughter a pair of Van Heusen pants at their outlet store. She said they weren’t her favorite pants, BUT they never needed ironing, wore like iron, and fit great so she wore them all the time throughout medical school.
Cinching that long floral dress in the back took it from meh to wow! I enjoyed hearing how you would customize all your finds. Would definitely be interested in your other creative pursuits.
I so enjoy your thrift flips - was raised by a mother who did that often for us girls growing up. Since i also sew, I usually check out the fabric section of thrift stores. However it inspires me to see how you alter existing clothing -- may also be now doing the same. Thank you for sharing such great ideas.
When I saw that last dress that you’re wearing, I instantly saw a pair of wide leg, palazzo pants and a cropped bandeau top like for of on a vacation so cute!
Oh i can't wait to see what you make out of that maxi floral dress! My friend left me a dress with a similar style and wanted me to make it more flattering...
Please stay with only one channel!!!! I can't keep up otherwise. Love all the new looks. The Calvin Klein may just need a thin belt to look great. The flow will keep you cool. I did like your pinched in version but think it will actually be hotter.
I love this video. I bought a Sophia Vigaro(sp?) Top in that print last year at Walmart of all places. I love the print but I agree overall as a dress it's a bit much.
I really enjoyed listening and watching your "Thrifting" process! I never shop in Thrift Shops because I always think they are there for the needy not for those who have cars etc. But perhaps my thinking is old fashioned! I notice many folks who enjoy abundance in other aspects of their lives do Thrifting videos on youtube. An extremely rare phenomena in my day 😊
Thrifting is a great way to support causes that provide resources to those in need, as many thrift stores are also charitable organizations (in addition to being a place to find used goods at affordable prices) 🙌 which is why I love supporting them by shopping! So glad you enjoyed watching my process, thank you!!
Thrifting is a great sustainable way to shop! There is an abundance of clothes so there is plenty for those who need to thrift for financial reasons but also for people who want to shop more sustainably :)
Nice haul. You could maybe clip off the straps on the purse and sandwich a chain or braided cording in the middle of them to make one long strap for a cross body bag.
This was fun! Nippies look so fab and I wish they had them when I was younger and didn’t need “support”. The Calvin Klein dress as is seemed to add about 10 years to you, but when you pulled it back it was so cute and stylish. It’s always interesting to play with clothes.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 It's spring now, so I'm going to be talking about nippies way too much, I already know it. It's NIPPIES SEASON!! And those pants are my fave thing right now!
I always check the jeans section too. Great jeans for like $6, beats paying $80 or $100. Also, high-end purses such as Coach are $25 at Goodwill. I have several from there.
I loved the burgundy sundress and the terracotta trousers best. Our thrift shops in the uk are mostly small. Your shops over there seem to be huge. I really enjoy thrifting myself.
My fave are the Pilcro cargo pants! I just got stretch twill from Core Fabrics in a similar color and I’m planning to make Nellie joggers with cargo pockets added on - currently working on a wearable muslin in a mauve stretch twill. Both will be perfect for spring and hiking some National Parks this summer! I also have it in my head that Nellie might transform into a cute wide-leg pant by leaving off the ankle elastic, excited to give it a try! Thanks for letting me escape to thrift stores with you on my lunch break. 😊
Yes I love those Pilcro pants so much! Someone made some cargo style Nellie joggers a whiiiile back and I have wanted to copy them ever since! I think that is such a good idea. I also have a pair that i took the elastic out of on the ankles and i love them like that 🙌 And yay for summer travel!!
Nice hall. My in-laws are outside of Flint, and those Michigan winters are brutal for a southern gal. It’s nice to hear someone on UA-cam who sounds like me 😅. I’m curious to see what you do with the thrifted items.
Really enjoyed this video. I love thrifting and up-cycling too. And cookies. Beginner at sewing though. I’ve had a quick look but can’t see a video on how to take up/ reduce the length on a pair of jeans. I don’t suppose you have one? I bought a lovely pair that fit really well but the length is crazy long. Thank you.
No lie ~ I sat down to watch this literally half an hour after getting back from a walk to the store to get chocolate chips. 🤯 Great haul! That Calvin Klein dress ruched top/fitted bottom idea is definitely the way to go! So cute. Is it a knit or woven? Would it need a zipper? And, speaking personally, I'd love to also see home decor/diy stuff here on this channel!
It was meant to be! :) The calvin klein dress is a knit, so it would be super comfy and easy to fit (and no zipper, woohoo!). And I have so many home projects I want to get to, and I also want to share them, so of course they haven't been done yet haha. I feel like I have to make it into a video so it will get done!
Thank you! I got those online forever ago but I can't remember the style or which site (I'm sorry! I just checked on zenni optical but can't find them in any of my previous orders).
Hey Casey, I love this white tank you're wearing and recently purchased your brigit top.. is this tank a hack of the brigit or could you do a video hacking it into a tank like this? 💙
They add zero support, but just kinda make things less "protrude-y" haha, and protect against chafing. I am a D cup and I like them. I wear them constantly in the summer!
No worries i went to the volume icon and changed the equalizer, and i played abit with the volume i must say. And its ok now..thank you for replying back😊
I liked the first dress with bodice ruching and knee length. It looked very sophisticated.
Blue flowered dress looks great on you! Leave it be!

Love that midi skirt! Great print and material content- it looks great with your leather platforms!
It was fun thrifting with you! Love your choices. I really like the last dress you showed us, and your plans for that one!

Agree on the furniture ideas. Also love the CK dress. 🙂
Really enjoyed watching your thrift flip, I want to go thrifting but overwhelmed at where to start when I get there. Thanks for sharing
I truly love that flowy red dress!!
I know I really like that one too! I need to live with it for a bit before I decide whether or not to flip it! ;)
That CK dress is stunning. I loved it looses goose, but when you cinched it in behind you? Gorgeous! Can't wait to see the final flip!
It made such a big difference...much more my style!
I bought my daughter a pair of Van Heusen pants at their outlet store. She said they weren’t her favorite pants, BUT they never needed ironing, wore like iron, and fit great so she wore them all the time throughout medical school.
Love thrifting esp xxl dresses of fine fabrics to take apart and repurpose .
Looks like a fun week. The weather is so changeable though. 👩🌾👩🌾👩🌾
This weather is all over the place! haha
Cinching that long floral dress in the back took it from meh to wow! I enjoyed hearing how you would customize all your finds. Would definitely be interested in your other creative pursuits.
Right!? I feel like that fabric will be so good on a more fitted style. Thanks for watching! :)
Try belting the Calvin Klein dress. I think you’ll like the flowy nature sometimes
Loved that red/black dress on you
Thanks!
So many exciting thrift flips!! Great video
Thank you! Excited to flip and wear them all!
I so enjoy your thrift flips - was raised by a mother who did that often for us girls growing up. Since i also sew, I usually check out the fabric section of thrift stores. Aw I love that! I have occasionally found fabric when thrifting, but have much better luck flipping clothes :)
When I saw that last dress that you’re wearing, I instantly saw a pair of wide leg, palazzo pants and a cropped bandeau top like for of on a vacation so cute!
That would be SO cute!
I love going to thrift stores as well and enjoying seeing your finds. Looking forwarding to seeing your thrift flips.
Thank you! I love the hunt! :)
no second channel necessary for me! ❤
Oh i can't wait to see what you make out of that maxi floral dress! My friend left me a dress with a similar style and wanted me to make it more flattering...
Thanks! I'll be sharing the flip on that dress this week! :)
also i love that style of dress on you. i have a similar one…. mine is shorter. it’s so cute for summer.
Thank you!!
Please stay with only one channel!!!! I can't keep up otherwise. Love all the new looks. The Calvin Klein may just need a thin belt to look great. The flow will keep you cool. I did like your pinched in version but think it will actually be hotter.
Thanks! I will! :)
I love this video. I bought a Sophia Vigaro(sp?) Top in that print last year at Walmart of all places. I love the print but I agree overall as a dress it's a bit much.
I love all your ideas. Definitely just keep it all on this channel. You really found some good thrift ideas!
Thanks, Barb!
Super cute haul! Love the Anthropologie pants!
Thanks! I love those pants, too. So excited I found those!

I love your videos. Saturday lunch time wouldn’t be the same without them ❤
I love knowing that, thank you! :)
Nice haul. You could maybe clip off the straps on the purse and sandwich a chain or braided cording in the middle of them to make one long strap for a cross body bag.
Good idea! Yeah, I think I'll like it better as a crossbody.

You may have just sold me on hacking the Calvin Klein dress into a more fitted style! 🤣
NIPPIES, PULEEEEZ SPONSOR MY GIRL ALREADY! Jeez! Anyhoo, I LOVE, those terracotta wide legged trousers!! 😊
Yes!! I have found so many great pairs!
I loved the burgundy sundress and the terracotta trousers best. Our thrift shops in the uk are mostly small. Your shops over there seem to be huge. I really enjoy thrifting myself.
We do have a lot of really large ones here! Although, I kinda like the smaller, more curated ones the best.
White chocolate is THE best😋
It is!! My husband and I are at odds about this 🤣

Good to know!! I love my olive linen pair but I made the elastic a little too tight for all day wear. I’m feeling inspired now to unpick it!
Oh yes! All the dresses looked better when you “draped” them on your body! Sometimes I feel like thrifting is almost paying cheaper for fabric 😂
The calvin klein dress would make a great jumpsuit :)
definitely!!
That flower dress. You could make cami and a skirt?
Totally!
Yay! Never buy new clothes (except underwear 😊)
The Calvin Klein dress is gorgeous as is. Maybe you could add slits to the side seams to increase air flow?
I really do love it! A slit for some airflow is a good idea!
Nice hall. My in-laws are outside of Flint, and those Michigan winters are brutal for a southern gal. It’s nice to hear someone on UA-cam who sounds like me 😅. I’m curious to see what you do with the thrifted items.
They definitely can be brutal! I'm getting used to them, but these early spring cold snaps in between beautiful sunny days are tough! :)
Try Habitat for humanity. I've had great luck.
I will check it out, thanks!
Really enjoyed this video. I love thrifting and up-cycling too. And cookies. Beginner at sewing though. Thank you, so glad you enjoyed it! I don't have a video on that, but that is one I want to add for sure eventually!
Loved this video.
Thank you!
That was a fun video...though now I'm thinking now about your family in Mississippi. I sure hope everyone was out of harms way. 🤞 Take care.
Thanks, Libby! The family is all doing well...luckily didn't get too bad where they were 🙏

Love your sunglasses! Can you share a link or the brand?
Thank you! I got those online forever ago but I can't remember the style or which site (I'm sorry! I just checked on zenni optical but can't find them in any of my previous orders).
Do you know about Thredup? I've been ordering from them for several years and, for your upcycling purposes, it seems ideal.
Hey Casey, I love this white tank you're wearing and recently purchased your brigit top.. is this tank a hack of the brigit or could you do a video hacking it into a tank like this? 💙
Hi Alanna! Thank you!! I actually already have a video for how i made that tank here: ua-cam.com/video/olBjHVKZ8Uo/v-deo.html :)
@@PatternScout thank you, kindly! 😊
Gosh I am now so curious about the nippies. Like, would they work on a d cup? I love your thrift ideas very much.
They add zero support, but just kinda make things less "protrude-y" haha, and protect against chafing. I am a D cup and I like them. I wear them constantly in the summer!
You looked taller when you wore pants!
What about the coat you made Huxley??
We were only out for 2 minutes, but as he was running in, I wished I had put it on him. It was so windy!!
Love the video, but now you have teased us with the cookies, we need the recipe please.please.
Haha thanks! It is just the recipe on the Nestle chocoloate chips bag (but I use white chocolate chips instead)!
Just eat some more of those cookies and you won't have to alter the pants😆
I have no sound.
Hi i cannot hear you while you are talking...i have restart my phone but to no avail
Sometimes that happens when the video has only been up for a short time--I'm not sure why it does that! Sorry about that!
No worries i went to the volume icon and changed the equalizer, and i played abit with the volume i must say. And its ok now..thank you for replying back😊
Your brown coat seems too small, isn't it ?
