I just want to say how much I appreciate your stance on modest clothing. As someone who doesn’t *always* dress modestly, i still like to have some outfits that i feel comfortable and confident in no matter how i’m feeling about my body, and those tend to be outfits with more coverage. so i appreciate you showing your personal style and how to still make those outfits look cool 💕

I feel like literally EVERYONE has better thrift shops than I do I never find anything this cool, like that vest come on man. 😩
for styling the slip dress for fall, i personally LOVE pairing them w a shirt underneath, jean jacket on top (or lightweight shacket if it’s too hot), and for shoes i either go with platform converse or some longer, heeled boots that are long enough to go under the dress (i prefer these two options bc i think they work best proportion-wise) !!

I like socks and lug boots with the slip dress and doe fall a chunky sweater, since I’m short I don’t get an overly long sweater and sometimes a cashmere crew works well
The slip dress would be fall goals paired with a ribbed mock neck quarter or full sleeve and combat boots! You could also pair it with a leather jacket for that extra edge.

Falling for fall ya’ll!! I’m from Alberta Canada. I literally stop at value village once a week, best time to go in mid morning to mid afternoon. They restock during this time, you can go down an aisle not find anything. Go back 10 minutes and find a gem.
I would love to have a thrifting buddy from the USA or somewhere west in Canada. We can share pin boards and if find something for the other person just ship it to them and vice versa.

I have no idea if it would actually look good but what about loafers for the silk dress? I feel like loafers are good in between if you don’t want too casual or too dressy for shoes.
