Adolfo Dominquez Fresh Water Vetiver and there Ceriver Terra EDP I just love so much, Miller Harris Vetiver Insolent, Encre Noir Sport and LT Pivor Vertiver are my favourites that I use in general life. As an aromatherapist vetiver acts on your gabba receptors and induces relaxation and helps stress and if your hyper. It’s very grounding and also good for the dry skin. The best Vetiver you can by an the essential oil is NHR Organic’s in Brighton UK. I just love Vetiver so much 😁
I really enjoyed your video. I'm gravitating towards vetivers bc I live in Korea. It is VERY humid however it's not like South Florida because there are mountains & a lot of green trees. It also rains a lot so it is a hot, humid, woodsy & sometimes rainy climate. All of my research lead me to vetiver being the perfect match for all of these. I'm going to get the fresh vetiver for the summer.
If you ever wanna collab, I'm down. You have an awesome style and here you've got some serious veitver fragrances many if not most of which I also own. They are truly inspired. Cheers Maria.
Great vid! I own the entire Saab essence line and the vetiver is my 2nd to least favorite ...the rose is mg least fav. Weird because I love vetiver and rose... agree about the Prada. The 1st rendition was “pour homme” and they changed it to “unisex.” I LOVE it but wish the opening stayed longer.
Exciting and useful video, my all time favourite vetiver perfumes are Guerlain's Vetiver (original version) and Habanita eau de parfum, but everything with vetiver in usually appeals to me...
My perfect vetiver still Terrarossa from Enzo Galardi's Profumo di Firenze. A superbly balanced scent. Sultan Vetiver, Guerlain's Vetiver edt, Vetiver by Carven and Terre d'Hermes parfum round out my current top 5. The quintessential spring time accord! 🌿
ooouu vetiver! i love it i just got a full bottle of mizensir mythique vetyver it's absolutely beautiful , more for sping summer, i fell in love three years ago but couldn't get it out of my head! :D and terre d'hermes is definitly my thing and the type of vetiver that i love , the only other i know is vetiver insolent and i own it but the dry down is not pleasant on my skin at all i have that issue with a lot of vetiver fragrances ! :s
@@MariaMeliora people have compared it to Guerlain L’Instant (men’s marketed version) and I have not smelled that either. Will let you know my thoughts after I get my hands on it tonight
@@MariaMeliora I like it but it’s not a love. It feels classy and masculine leaning to me personally, and I think it’s the cocoa combined with vetiver that almost makes me think there is patchouli in there somewhere. On my skin it turns powdery and reminds me of Cartier Le Baiser du dragon but with less amber and powder and added feel of dusty patchouli. I prefer it to actual dusty patchouli scents as it’s slightly sweeter and prefer it to BDD as that has too much powder to me. Not sure I’ll wear this a lot but it’s a nice reference for me as I don’t have many vetiver fragrances :)
@dmac6704 boutique chanel is certainly a good introduction into less conventional perfumes . That said I never found them to be original in composition and somewhat.. diluted somehow. But you can test them in person - they are intelligently designed and Chanel brand has a lot of value to some people by itself. What is suitable is only for you to decide, truly - what smells interesting to you isby definition suitable for you 😘😘
The dangers of buying blindly. All the reviews of Noble Royale Majestueux Vétiver have been fantastic...with glowing comments. So naturally, I took a chance on buying it blindly (which I hardly ever do), and I don’t like anything about it. I’m not a big Vetiver fan anyway, but there are some I like a lot. I don’t like the classic, earthy Vetivers, and that’s pretty much how I see Majestueux Vétiver. From beginning to end, I didn’t like it at all. This is a perfect example of why you should take the opinions of others with a grain of salt. 🙄

I have Malin goetz Vitiver and it's one of my favorite scents ever.!

I love vetiver. I love the Le Labo one and the one put out by Malian and Groetz.

Wow I m familiar with only one of them, that is a shame. Not that my collection is small, but so much lies ahead to sniff! 😅

Decant of Vetiver Oriental is in my mailbox from Fragrancenet... looking forward to trying it out!
let me know what you think of it? to me it was much less "oriental" as the name would suggest, but i like it still

Vetiver 😍 I developed an addiction to Aimez-moi commme je suis of Caron in 2020.
What do you think of Chanel Sycomore? Would you still think prada vetiver is better for a female?

@@MariaMeliora thank you I got a sample of Sycomore edp batch code 2022 and I do absolutely love it especially the dry down 😍
Off the beaten path... Bourbon French's Kus Kus is a vetiver powder bomb that's worth checking out.
Do try Terrarossa by Profumo di Firenze 1954
how come? what is special about it?
Маша, пожалуйста, можно такой же обзор на русском, пожалуйста! Ветивер, наше все!!!

Missing Encre Noire
there is nothing remotely boring about Terre d'hermes...it's heavenly juice
