Nice to see you Chris. Interesting response. Anything to see more of your vast collection is worth watching. If I counted in my CD's & bootlegs my Mighty Blimp collection adds up to about six or seven hundred~ Rob/Boston
I guess with Dolly you’re counting her collaborations? Nonetheless, 48 is amazing! I love going from Sahm to Brahm right off the top. You have such a complete collection, Chris. Cheers ✌🏻
Jon, there was a time gap between counting albums and then filming, and I forgot my criteria but you are correct that I must have included her albums with Porter Wagoner.
Great list Chris! I just started listening to the Osborne Brothers after going to a University of Tennessee Football game. Fans would sing the song, Rocky Top all day! I’m sure I will find their album with that song. But enjoying their other music as well.
That was totally interesting. I'm glad you included, in the description, the list of bands that you have the most in all formats including digital. No country or classical in that top ten....you must like those genres better on vinyl. Thanks for the listing Chris!
Keith Jarrett was one of the few that made both lists. I think some of it is the availability of live music. More Led Zep concerts (or Grateful Dead) available to download than Beethoven or even Willie Nelson, or I just haven't found the right resources, yet.
Wow, Dolly, I never would have guessed. I did not do classical but if I did Beethoven would have had a shot for the top 5. But Dolly, you continue to surprise me Chris
Good idea for a thread Chris. I may try this once I get a lot of domestic chores out of the way first. My collection probably mirrors yours to some degree, however, I have way less country albums, tho I have more Willie Nelson lps within that genre.

Thanks Rob. Hard to believe that your Mighty Blimp collection exceeds most people’s entire collections!
WOW!

Thanks Jeff. Rocky Top originally came out on their 1968 album, Yesterday, Today, And The Osborne Brothers, but it's included on several other albums.
This was very illuminating! Lots of country and classical.
Brian, I was surprised that classic rock didn’t score better.

Impressive Chris. Some great surprises.
Thanks Jeff. I wasn’t expecting classical to do so well.

Yes, I would have described myself as a classic rock guy, but now I have to re-evaluate myself!
Dolly is a National Treasure.

Dave, it would be interesting to see your selections, especially Willie Nelson. I didn’t know you had so many. Thanks, Chris
@@christopherkibler511 Well, I don't have a lot of Willie, but of the country I do have, he would probably the one I have the most of. :)
l had a feeling your number one would be Ludwig or Wolfgang.... that's a lot of Dolly.... who is that pictured on the Willie Nelson album :-)))
Willie is no longer a cherub!
Miles Davis-'' Half- Nelson''
Miles Davis- ''Willie Nelson'' included on the ''Jack Johnson'' box set.
Oh Yeah? Bet you don't have ''A Fifth Of Beethoven'' by The Walter Murphy Band!
The Hoarder/Collector, do you derive any pleasure from music, or a particular genre, musician or is the collecting the goal?
All yeses.
