I had to buy an external CD-drive, because I didn't notice the PC case I bought didn't have any slots for that purpose.

I haven't heard that in over 2 decades. Bought a Pioneer DVD-106S in 2001, used the firmware tool that came with it to reduce the read speeds to 4x for DVD and 16x for CD. That very drive is still rocking today in case I need it. And yes, it's fricken IDE still. Dumped internal floppy in 2003, but still sporting IDE... XD

7:52 for the puzzles shown, they’re not impossible, you just need a little math
The first one is an input output table, with a pattern not shown, so we need to find a pattern. 3 and 2 make 7, 5 and 4 make 23, and 7 and 6 make 47. The two numbers are multiplied then a hidden fourth number is added to get the product, being a constantly increasing positive odd integer. So 3x2+1=7, 5x4+3, 7x6+5=47, which would make 10x9+9=99. OR the pattern could be that the hidden variable added is one integer down from the previous two numbers, which would be instead, 10x9+8=98. The pattern could go either way, there are multiple solutions depending on how you solve
For the second one, the balls are stacked in a pyramid, which means that there are balls obscured from sight, but since they are stacked in increasing square layers, we can calculate the amount of balls in the pyramid, so 1+4+9+16= 30 balls in the pyramid.
For the third, it’s a system of equations, with the various fruits acting as variables. Once we find the value for one fruit, we can easily solve for the rest. Apple=a, Banana=b, Cherry=c. The first equation can give us the value for a, a+a+a=18, which makes 3a=18, divide and you get a=6. Now that we have the value for one variable, we can find the others, 6+b+b=14, subtract to get b+b=8, which makes 2b=8, then divide to get b=4. Now for the third equation 4-c=2, add to get 4=2+c, then subtract to isolate the variable to get 2=c. Then for the solution, it’s 2+6+4=12.
Though I still do agree that adjusting a mirror one degree at a time is painful and tedious.

Also with the ball puzzle theres 32 balls in the picture, assuming its a pyramid, and not just a triangle
4x4 base layer, 3x3 middle layer, 2x2 upper layer, 1 on top, and 2 in the question marks

Also, strangely enough I remember that mirror puzzle being very easy.

Early childhood memories involving watching my father completing MM4+5. I myself completed MM6+7+8. Even as a big fan of the series I was only able to play it for 10 minutes before reaching the breaking point. What a mess

Because 23-7 is 16; 47-23 is 24, which is 16+8; and 79-47 is 32, which is 16+8*2; therefore the next number is 79+16+8*3=119
The 2 columns on the left are distractions, they merely show is at best that the answers are correctly ordered right next to each other in a set/series (Whatever the exact mathematical word is)...

1st one: multiply the two numbers, then add the first number and subtract 2 from the result. ? = 98.
2nd one: to maintain its shape, there must logically be more balls that are hidden due to the camera angle. Create a mental image and count. 30.
3rd one: simply change the fruits for the values x, y, and z, respectively.
3x = 18
x + 2y = 14
y - z = 2
z + x + y = ?
x = 6
y = 4
z = 2
? =12
That mirror puzzle looks like a lot of fun... of the "what were they thinking?" variety.

well, i was kind of too young when this game released and i knew nothing about might and magic series. I bought it from the store blindly and had really great time with it.
I sucked at it, knew nothing about mechanics of it and my english also sucked back then but I remember playing hours trying to progress in the game and I have really good memories with it.
That thumbnail, even though I have never seen the full image, makes me want to puke
