The harder a joke gets censored, the funnier it probably is. If a joke is blocked in 113% of the countries on Earth, I'm certain it was undoubtedly the funniest joke I ever would have heard.
It was YuGiOh opening with a couple of edits. It wasn't that great tbh.
You have to be careful. Back during WW2, there was a joke that was so funny it killed anyone who heard it from laughing so hard. It was weaponized and translated into German to be used in combat, but it had to be read in thirds by translators and all three were hospitalized in the process.

Between this and -Dark Messiah of Might and Magic- *Sir Kicksalot Deathboot in the Land of Conveniently Placed Spikes,* better known as the demo for Arkane Studio's later obscure game, Dishonored, we have:
-queen throws a hissy fit because her husband isn't back from killing demons yet
-turns out her maid was a succubus jedi mind tricking her
-demon lord who is already involved with said succubus decides he needs to add queenie to his harem
-barrels through the entire elven empire to get killed by a very specific druid after robbing king's grave
-bland evil necromancer convinces queen to let him raise the dead king
-goes wrong, surprised pikachu
-elves stop panicking to singlehandedly end vampire king
-dead demon lord is now not dead demon lord but a dark elf and becomes dark elf king almost by accident
-proceeds to rescue queen who got kidnapped by the succubus who is now super jealous, by beating the demon king

hammers of fate... dwarves exist, nothing happens, turns out queen's a bitch

I think it's a nice touch that the Empire and the Undead have so similar musical themes, since the undead were primarily humans. It's missing the angelic singing, which makes sense considering they are forsaken damned flesh that can't escape the realm of mortals.
If you fused both there themes together into a blend do you think it would sound nice but somber, like a sorta tale of humanity

Interestingly many of the missing Slavic developers later turned up in a new company called "Owlcat Games" - where they decided to show people just how easy any FromSoft game is by producing the most insanely difficult RPGs ever conceived.
It's not hard to make something overly difficult. What's difficult is making it feel brutal but overcomable.
Their Pathfinder games are a great example of the "developer difficulty bias", where the developers/testers end up really good at the game just due to playing it over and over again, and so they don't realize the difficulty is too high for the first-time player. In this case, I'm pretty sure they are also insane tabletop munchkins as well, so while in other games, the normal difficulty would mean "You can probably beat this so long as you're paying attention to the mechanics", in these Pathfinder games, it means "You need to play the game with a walkthrough open in your browser, look up a guide on meta character builds and respec all the party members, obsessively min-max your characters, and cheese every single mechanic you can, or you're screwed". As for the higher difficulties, that's the kind of crap that's made for masochists, because that's not challenge, it's virtual self-harm.

I love homm5. It can use some work on the AI side of things, plus the UI is somewhat clunky (especially the items section), but overall my favorite Heroes game. Two unit upgrade that came in the second expansion also adds a lot more variety and customization.

I think Heroes5 is really good. Skill wheel is actually fun once you find the 3rd party source for it. My favourite race is Dungeon because you can buff Blood Fury's initiative (or mass slow enemy) and attack 2-3 times before they can make a move,and then return to your place.

Kinda weird going from the cutesy, high fantasy style of this game to absolute blood, gore and gritty violence of DM.

In fact, Dark Messiah is technically directly related to the events of M&M V in that you play as the son of one of the main characters from the campaign.

You see Godric and his family as well as other plot-important characters (Markal, Cyrus, Anwen and Findan) as children/teens and it takes place before Heroes 5. In Markal's campaign, he's obsessed with the skull of Fiona, Godric's sister, because he was her friend during her time as a ghost.
In conclusion: Heroes of Might and Magic V gets a score of 221 out of 10.

Despite the development woes, this ended up being a really solid entry into the series, especially after the expansions added so much to it (big fan of the dual upgrade paths for all units, personally).
It's just a shame they decided to end the franchise here, and never make another Heroes game again. Yup, the last Heroes game ever made, this one.

You can get the game for free but have to pay real money for more than two heroes, etc. I didn't get past the title screen and thought, "Nah, I'll just go back to playing HoMM 5, a game that only made me pay once that I already like." From what I've heard from others, that was the correct decision.

I've played this game for years when I was younger, even drew those monsters in art class, and I never knew this. I always thought the skills you got where random.

I mean technically they ARE random, it's just that to get some of them you need to have other ones
so unless you got really lucky it would be pretty much impossible to get the ultimate skill without actually knowing about it
and even if you knew about it the RNG in this game would screw you over

If you want to get the "Ultimate" skill you need to have the 3 correct minor skills that are required to open it, which are randomly given as choices if you have the correct pre-requisite minor skills that are randomly given as a choice if you have the correct pre-requisite major skills which are randomly given to you. Oh and by the way, the way RNG works in the game is static for the map so reloading the battle for a fresh level up choice won't help. (pretty sure that's how RNG works from the last time I played I could be corrected)
Oh and one final note, if you are playing the main story campaign some of the characters start with minor skills that make learning the "Ultimate" impossible.

Always love your content. Heroes has been a part of my life since I found Heroes 2 when I was a kid. Paul Romero has made my favorite video game soundtracks(At least Might and Magic 6, 7, and 8 as well as Heroes 3). I love the entire Heroes franchise(though I haven't played much of 6 and none of 7. Heroes 1 is all about strategy because your characters don't learn skills).
