- HI guys in this one we make a moderator for the Airmaks Krait. Its a 2 piece design what the core and back cap as one piece and the front cap as the other.

Excellent work as usual.. I’ve got a ghost it’s the most accurate rifle I’ve had to date.. 5 pence groups at 45 yds with jsb 8.44 g can’t wait to see what you do with it👍

Most moderators do NOT silence the gun. My AirArms now has a proper silencer by changing the design. First a long expansion chamber followed by the next one which has a sound absorbing liner followed by three more chambers. My Regimex Regiems barrel shroud is now a proper silencer. First, again a long expansion chamber with a hair curler, then another shorter with a hair curler.The next two chamber are unlined, followed by an original baffle. If you stand in front to one side 3yds away all you hear are the rats getting hit. So many chamber are the answer; some times changing the manufactures design to the better.

Question, Is there a certain reason that the first "chamber" of the mod. is longer that the 2 others? First from the breach.
Hi, the chamber size makes a difference to the sound, they work better if you vary the size a little 👍
@@sub12airgunners Thanks! A while ago I made/modified Snowpeak P35 in shroud moderator the way You made moderator (that 3 part mod. making series). And it turned out very quiet!

Love the video good sir! Shame that you don't make and sell moderators or baffles. I would love to get some baffles and barrel supports for my bsa r10 to make the shroud more effective. Great lathe work all the same 👍

On a telescopics shroud is there any chance of pellet clipping if extention is bumped? I assume your tolerances are so tight probably not a issue you are a master in this trade. Very good video
The way we have done it you would have to give it a proper knock to move the poi, normal use, in and out of the case and general bumps and knocks are no problem 👍

I was just wondering do you do repairs and improvements on other peoples guns if they get sent in ,only because my ghost has got a little bit of sideways movement on the trigger it’s not significant but annoying none the less.

Don’t you have to be a registered RFD or have a licence to manufacture a moderator in the UK? Even if it’s for your own use.
